Innisfree eco campsite is run by Jo and Tommy. We have always camped and continue to. Finding "our type" of campsite is always a challenge. We wanted to create a campsite that we would like to stay at. For us, that means relaxed, natural basic facilities, room to run, and a small campfire in the evening. No bar, no one testing their new Bluetooth speaker.
We classify ourselves as an eco campsite as we aim to minimise our impact on our local and global environment. To these ends, we run a composting toilet to minimize water usage, allow grasses to grow long in between pitches in order to help insects and birds, offer recycling encourage our customers to recycle as much as possible. We have a selection of bins, glass, paper, tins, plastics, and food. If you have suggestions on further improvements, we would love to hear them.
We have six tent pitches, well spaced out. Each pitch can take 2 family-sized tents. If you arrive by bike or on foot, we will always find room for you, but booking is advised for all other users. We have six tent pitches, well spaced out.
