The perfect way to escape the heat of summer, and the crowds of Zion National Park. Kolob Campground, Kolob Terrace Road, and Kolob Reservoir is a quiet location nestled between the main canyons of Zion National Park and the remote Kolob Finger Canyons Complex at Zion National Park. With quick access to West Rim Trail, Subway Canyon, Hop Valley Trail, and Wildcat Canyon Trail, this area of Greater Zion is not to be missed.  Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area. Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak, and pine trees. Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp.WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area.Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals, snacks and beverages are also located nearby. LP(propane) fires are allowed and LP fire bowls can be provided through the camp host. LP fuel is also available for purchase. Wood burning, charcoal, and smoking currently not allowed due to area restriction.

Picturesque camping set within the protective hilltops of beautiful Lydia's Canyon. This camping destination is on private land and has long list of unique, attractive features. Conveniently located just a couple minutes off Highway 89, this is the perfect stop over between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Special features including private fishing ponds, a large pavilion equipped with tables and chairs, fire pits, kayaks and FREE WIFI will make your stay easy and fun! Campers will enjoy clean, HOT showers and flushable toilets. You will have access to the multi-acre campground where you can choose which tent site or RV site you prefer. We DO allow no hook-up camping vans in our tent sites. Two of our four new RV sites have full hook-ups (sites 3 & 4), the other two (sites 1 & 2) have water and power hookups only. All sites are equipped with 30 & 50 amp breakers You will have access to the large pavilion for gathering, cooking or shelter from the elements. You also have access to the clean bath house, equipped with two shower rooms (with on-demand hot water) and flushable toilets. As an added bonus, you will have access to the ponds, you may use the boat, canoe or kayaks, you can also catch and release fish if you have your own fishing equipment. (Keep a fish or accidental kill for a fee.) If interested in booking a fishing experience, please reach out to us for more details. There are seven available tent sites and four available RV sites with hookups. No beds or tents are provided. Please plan to bring your own camping supplies. Common spaces including the pavilion and bath house are shared with all campground guests. Lydia's Canyon is known for lush green fields, overflowing fresh water ponds full of native fish, Canadian geese, turkeys, exclusive bird-watching, deer, farming, cows, horses, and last but not least . . . kind, welcoming residents who are happy to help you have a memorable experience. Your super hosts, Jeremy and Betty, live nearby and are available to help when needed. Connect to the campground FREE WIFI for easy communication needs. Kindly follow our speed limits here in Lydia's Canyon, we ask that your speed not exceed 15 mph on the gravel roads. No parties, noise, or bright lights after 10 p.m.

Our story begins with a little old lady, our grandma, who believed with all her heart that we were worth it. She passed a few years ago, and what better way to honor her belief in us than to create Ethel's Hideout. We came from a small ranching family, which has brought us closer than we ever imagined. Hard work and dedication were imprinted on us from a young age. On this land we have built an RV pull-through, camp sites, and horse stalls. One day we hope to have some small cabins to share with you all. Ethel's is your home away from home. We border agriculture and sate and public lands which provides an authentic western experience. Though tucked away to give the illusion of seclusion, we are located only 7 miles from downtown Kanab Utah. Kanab features many fun and exciting events throughout the year. Located right in the heart of several national parks, Zions, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell and many more fun things to tour. Hook ups include power and water. Our most unique feature is horse stalls on site. Bring your horses with you and reserve stalls for them as well. Our convenient location offers direct access to ride on public lands. Traveling with horses? We have just the spot with (8) 12′ x 14′ covered stall. Contact us to book stalls for your horses to stay over night with you.

SET UP for minimalist-types.... certainly not primitive but not fancy either... spacious sites (with cool shade cloths and picnic tables) respectful of your personal experience with an eye for contemporary design. Area's fastest Wifi. Clean modern bathrooms with showers. All sites have water (except walk in tent sites - water nearby). Charging station and six full electric sites. Enjoy hanging out with like-minded adventurers who prefer Tents, Vans, Class B's and small trailers (like teardrops, pods and popups) - we do not permit ATV's or trailers over 26' SimpleLife gives dogs room to roam (and you as well) on our 15 private acres attached to hundreds more of beautiful public land. SimpleLife is only 2 miles from Kanab's conveniences -- in a country setting providing easy access to Grand Canyon, Escalante, Bryce, Zion and thousands of one of a kind square miles of desert adventures.

If you have a flexible schedule, snagging a site at a “sold-out” Watchman Campground is possible with Hipcamp’s free availability Alerts. Definitely make an attempt. One of my all time favorite NPS campgrounds. ps. If you’re on a National Park roadtrip and hitting Bryce on the same trip I highly recommend dedicating one night to camping at the Hipcamp Rancho Feliz just outside of Kodachrome. Incredible property and Host.

Watchman campground was a nice, quiet campground with an easy walk to the village. Zion NP is a national park that takes multiple days to explore for the best experience. I spent most of my time in The Narrows, and it was an incredible experience. I will definitely be back to this park.

I loved it!
The view of the cliff faces in the valley with the illumination of the morning sun was incredible. We got to see some western quails come visit each site as the campers leave. They were looking for any crumbs left over. Cute little buddies.

In the morning and evening, the mule deers hang out in the grass surrounding the campground. They don’t fear the people or the noisy RV groups. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The campground is walking distance to the pedestrian entrance of Zion and Springdale. Zion Brewing is literally right there. The Visitor Center is a tad bit further where you can pick up the shuttle on the weekends to the hikes along the Zion Scenic Drive. Make sure to get your ticket ahead of time or jump on the app at exactly 5PM MT to get your $1 shuttle ticket. They DO turn away people trying to get on the shuttle without a ticket. Decent Sprint LTE cell signal here.

Watchman was gorgeous and quiet despite plenty of campers around us. A doe and her babies nibbled on grass right next to our sight as we relaxed by the fire. And of course you're in Zion which is gorgeous.
