Dave is a friendly guy. Spot was flat and level for our campervan and we had all the privacy we wanted. We aren't dog people, but his dog was very well behaved and didn't bark or disturb at all.

Mark is a great host and the property is lovely. Very quiet and very scenic (on the river). Bathroom is super clean. Mark even invited us to pick dewberries in his yard! They were delicious. A great experience and we would highly recommend. Check out Bama Bobs BBQ right down the road. Outstanding!

Russell had a very affordable property he shared . This was shared in his front yard , a little strange but he left us alone . Only comment I will say is his property is fairly close to a busy highway . So when trying to sleep, you would hear cars and motorcycles peel out . We really enjoyed meeting the Host David and his Co-Host ( Homer the dog). We texted David and he responded quickly and allowed us to come in a little early and we were grateful. He invited us to a campfire with some of his friends that evening and if we wanted our own fire we could use his firewood. Very nice host and will definitely visit again. Very close to I 10 and I 85. The description of site is accurate.

Great campsite! We were able to tent camp in the shade of the woods and enjoy the sandbar on the river each day. Safe and clean. Isolated away from others which is what we prefer. Our dog loved it, too!

We loved staying here. It was quiet and peaceful. The facility was clean and attractive. The concrete pad was nice and had great water, electric and sewer capability. We loaded our truck and took a short drive to the beach most everyday. There is a local shrimp company nearby also. We will be back to this location!

Heart of the Country is our home and also your own personal twelve acre state park whenever you stay with us! We are less than 15 minutes from Interstate 10 and from Interstate 65. I offer a half-dozen campsites, all either on a relatively level paved driveway or grass. Power (20 amp and 30 amp) and water is available. We have two 30 amp campsites, which are first come, first served. WIFI is available! (please ask for password). We have a portable toilet for your use. This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary with lots of nature trails. This is also a hobby farm with livestock (Donkey, two Goats, a Duck and a flock of Chickens). I feed the livestock grain every morning usually between 8 and 9 am, and again hay before dusk. You are always welcome to join me and I'll introduce all of them to you! My dog, Homer, is our very friendly welcoming ambassador who will enthusiastically great you upon your arrival. I put him up in his kennel each evening around dusk, then lock him in his shed until morning which keeps him from backing during the night. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well. Texting via the app is our preferred mode of communication. If you call, please leave a message if I can't answer, and I will call you back. We are slowly updating the site photos. Use them only to determine your price, for example: A site with 30 amp power and water is $25 per night. A site with 20 amp power and water is $20 per night. A boondocking site (no power) is $15 per night. All sites have access to a porta-potty and water. Suggested local attraction: Blakeley State Historic Park is four miles away.

We are less then 8 mins to ocean swimming 1 and half hourish to New Orleans 30 to mobile Alabama 1 hourish to Pensacola fl. 15 mins to casinos, 9 mins to downtown ocean springs. 3 mins to 90 for crusin the coast. some weekends we have musicians and energy healings, reiki, tiny homes are welcome, owner is native american can do drum healins and carries much wisdom for sit down word sharing.. sky viewing is good reduced light noise. please note we are in the middle of city which is great for access to anything and everything but when the sun goes down we are quieter. please note again if you arrive at night it is dark here. gnat-thurty is between sunset.. sketters are minimual as we do bat boxes and local wildlife to maintain. fishing is not extra but the yearling must be thrown back if u catch the big blue gill u get a bonus reward, we preferr no food fishing but lure fishing chickens gator farm is right down the road and sheppard state park is as well where the dump station is located. we wish to think of you as family feel free to think of us as the same thank you for reading and being apart of the :lil cute place: addemdum we have 4 sights of it says it is booked it is not always all sights best to always ask check in time is 2pm no later then7. anything after 7 will be the standard 20 late entrance fee. after 9 no entry is allowed please and thank you.. we are a home not a camp ground. we offer tons of stuff and give respect for free.

Situated along the Gulf Coast in Alabama, Mobile calls out to campers with its coastal marshes, sandy beaches, and remarkably rich biodiversity. Just east of town by Mobile Bay, Meaher State Park offers epic wetlands. Keep an eye out here for local wildlife like alligators, turtles, and pelicans. Paved RV sites in the state park come with full hookups for up to 50-amp electrical service, plus water and sewer. Other amenities include picnic tables, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Glamping at one of the cabins on the Ducker Bay side provides easy access to the beach and boat ramp. For a more rustic camping experience, boondocking tent sites are available too.
