6 nights at Peaceful Experience Ranch 🌄😍

I enjoyed my stay on Luis's land. It was private, peaceful and offered panoramic views. We stayed during a week of rain showers so a 4-Wheel or AWD would be recommended. Luis was kind, helpful and always available for questions. The GPS led me to the area, and Luis's directions helped me find the specific spot. I would definitely stay again :)

1 night at Old Town Garden Oasis

This RV setup was a great place to hang out while my friends and I were looking to explore the area and the surrounding national forests. There's a nice view out to a lovely shaded yard with a pond and birds, which was great to look out at while playing some cards. The only issue my crew ran into was not realizing the oven wasn't ready for use as the pilot needed to be on and Joshua wasn't home. Not a big deal, but perhaps a note to mention intended oven use before you arrive so you will be set up to make a pizza or anything else. Overall, nice quiet spot that was great for my two friends and I to post up at the night before adventuring out to the Sedona area more.

Weekend Trip to Beaver Creek Oasis

Laura was amazing! She was such a kind host, made sure we had everything we needed and even introduced us to her lovely animal family. The trailer was so comfortable and the grounds were clean. The creek is gorgeous, we spent the day there and had it all to our selves swimming, sun bathing and taking in nature. We will definitely be back!

Assumed based on map that the dry camping zone was a bit bigger/ more secluded but was the site beside the cow pen under the trees, with no specific “site”. The area was clean and the brewery was amazing which was the reason I booked it in the first place. Could reach the wifi at my spot, the bathroom was close and clean. Overall for a quick night stay it worked.

Loved the campground and absolutely loved the brewery (wish there was food there!), and we had a great time.

Mike does a fantastic job of giving very detailed directions for an ambiguous situation. Sites are not very well delineated and can cause confusion when other campers are walking through your site looking for theirs. During the week, it was quiet and peaceful. When the taproom was open it slightly less quiet but not bothersome. We will definitely return if we pass this way again.

3 nights at Beaver Creek Oasis

We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's place. We saw some elk, trout in the creek and a lot of birds. Even saw a young Golden Eagle leaving there that morning. The stars at night were awesome and the swimming hole(May) during the day was delightful. We have a camping cat and she had so much fun chasing lizards all week. We also enjoyed a dozen fresh eggs and a crate of wood for a fire. Laura is a great host

Good comfy spot. Nice spot to rest and relax on a trip through Arazona.

1 night at Karla's Hummingbird Guest Ranch

Karla's place is ideally situated for anyone birdwatching in the sky islands region. Karla has a great set up for campers. We used the Cabana which got us out of the wind and parked our camper van next to it which was really convenient. The use of the pool and kitchen area was really handy. Karla is warm and generous and I would highly recommend staying at her place.

4 nights at La Hacienda Chuparosa

Julie and her husband were wonderful hosts! The property is fully fenced in and feels very safe. The campsite was comfortable and well setup, with a nice fire pit. Easy access to the toilet and shower in the tack room. Their dogs are extremely friendly and fun to have around and being right there with the horses was exactly what I was looking for.

Large open sites. Good location just outside of town enough for quiet and great sky at night. Good brewery on site Wednesday-Saturday with live music and a food truck. Plan to stay again later this year. Thanks Mike!

Weekend Trip to Weary Traveler Haven

Other than the heat, the site was very nice. We were the only ones there. First off, they were very accommodating. When our tent wasn’t able to fully secure to the bottom of the platform, they brought out some rope to tie it down. The property was beautiful, with a large saguaro right next to the sites that we had to take a picture next to. We saw a coyote the last night we were there not too far from the site, but due to the remoteness and environment, it’s definitely not a surprise. It was very central for the plans we had even if it is very remote, but if we were to do something similar again, we would definitely stay here!

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Experience Ranch 🌄😍

This campsite was very unique and indeed a peaceful experience. Although it was very secluded, it still felt close and comfortable somehow. The location is great for getting away from the traffic and crowds that may be at other nearby campistes, and provides a quite, open area with much freedom and wonderful view of the stars at night. It was very cool the be camping in the middle of the desert and feel so alone but not isolated. Luis was a great host and ensured that our arrival, stay, and departure went smoothly and were comfortable.

Joshua’s place is peaceful, genuine and nature centered. Humming birds were active, It was wonderful to experience. The camper is really nice with full shower and toilet. Stove to cook on. Big thanks for the stay from Ohio.

1 night at Weary Traveler Haven

Taylor was really chill and sweet to talk to. Her bread is also worth buying. As for the campsite, our tent was smaller than the platform so we used some leftover rope to tie it down instead of using steaks. They had a great stove, hot shower, and portable toilet. Would camp here again!

1 night at Cave Creek Quiet Homestead

Not our first visit nor will it be our last. A nice quiet spot located minutes from the town centers of Cave Creek and Carefree.

We have continued to grow our little farm of 4 1/2 acres to what it is today, which includes an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees and enclosed garden/greenhouse structures with veggies and herbs that are protected from wildlife and the elements. We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. We have a basketball court, a ping pong table, cornhole court as well for recreation. Our Beach site has a domed 'chill zone' with heaters in the winter, comfortable chairs for relaxation and a great spot to let your dog hang out unleashed. Our Prickly Pear site has a pull through for campers and RVs. Our RV site has 30 amp electric and black water dump station. Our property in a 160-acre neighborhood surrounded by open desert state lands. In our sustainable community/neighborhood are like minded, peaceful people who are as connected to and respectful of the land as we are. We are looking forward to hosting Hipcampers and sharing our lovely slice of heaven.

I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. There is a restroom/breakfast room off the pool area. This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff. I have WiFi and great cell service here. You must arrive by dark. My gates will be closed at dark. I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10. My place is 10 minutes from Coronado National Forest. The property is tranquil, peaceful, and quiet. You will see a lot of quail and other birds on the property. There are 2 varieties of quail who visit daily. Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Each tent, and/or a place where people sleep is a campsite....in other words you can't book 1 tent camping site and then add your friends who come in their vehicle and set up a campsite. That is 2 campsites. NOTE- The only bad review I have is from someone who booked one campsite then had her friends come during the night and take another site. I had the nerve to ask them to pay for that extra site. (they refused). My photos-At the end of my gallery are photos of "PROJECTS", things I've made. This is for the "PROJECTS" extra I offer because I can't add those photos there.

We also have three dogs that are friendly. We are 20 minutes to climbing areas (Promised Land and The Dells), Sedona is an hour away, Prescott is 35 minutes, Grand Canyon is !.5 hours, the Verde River is 40 minutes one way and an hour and 15 in the other direction. You are welcome to set up a tent or bring your RV. We hope you'll camp here.

But there’s a variety of things that you can do here. Sometimes people go shooting deep in the mountains you can hear them out there. With spectacular sunrises and sunsets and clear night skies its a beautiful place to live and visit. With a working vineyard and winery you can walk from your camp and buy a bottle of wine or just enjoy a glass on the large deck located at the tasting room that over looks the grain field and silos, orchards and vineyards. There is incredible history that surrounds the area including: Cochise and Geronimo's battle grounds against the US Calvery, the Butterfield Stagecoach routes and pony express trails, The battle of the OK Coral with the Earp Brothers nearby. Birds and Barrels Vineyards is located within one of the only two American Viticulture Areas(AVA's) in Arizona.
