Weekend Trip to Sacred Nectar Sanctuary

Sacred Nectar and Nick & family are amazing! It was incredibly special experiencing the mountains of NH in this way. From the sweeping views, perfectly situated sites, wood-fired sauna, cold plunge stream - it was all nothing short of magical. I can't wait to go back!

I don’t want to hype up this review too much, because I want availability to be open so I can return HaHa! This place is heaven. I highly recommend this to be a place to visit, even for a day trip. From the mountain saunas, to private camp sites that have the best views in the country, to private bathrooms, cool cabins, chickens, a kitchen, firewood for sale, and hiking trails as far as you could walk. Dog friendly, didn’t see a single person, was just the way we liked it. The host Nick was super friendly, and I can’t wait to return again with some friends

I loved Amanda's alpaca pen! The alpacas are friendly (although they don't want to be pet) and it was fun to walk around the farm and such the chickens, sheep, and other animals.

3 nights at Vermont Ranch & Riverside Retreat

In 59 years of camping this is the best site I’ve ever been. Private river, wide open site with fields and a walking trail. The riverfront gently slopes into the water - easy canoe access or shore fishing. From my site I saw no houses, no roads, no signs of humans…just trees and river. Stunning. The best part for me was the horses. I was enjoying the view when 3 gentle giants slowly walked over to greet me. I sat drinking coffee, watching the river while the horses grazed within 2 feet of me. I’d give a scratch behind the ear and they’d quietly take turns, saying hello, eating and enjoying the quiet. I wish I had the words to describe the peace and calm I felt being with them. Thank you, Lucinda. You are an amazing host and have the best campsite I’ve ever been to. 2 nights at Vermont Ranch & Riverside Retreat

Our stay at Lucinda’s was perfect!!!! My husband and I kept saying how beautiful it was. We camped there with our 1 year old son. The site was more than enough — spacious, secluded, and a few steps away from a body of water that we swam in multiple times during our stay. Just wait til you see that view… it’s insane. The water is kid friendly in the really shallow spots! Aside from the site itself, Lucinda is a gracious, and kind host. She made us feel welcomed and safe. And if you’re lucky, you may even get to meet her 3 beautiful horses!

Went tent camping at site #5. Views were amazing, had a lot of fun around the campfire telling stories and looking at the stars. So many cute nooks to explore, can tell the land is well loved. Was welcomed by Nick and some very cute dogs at out check in. The Spring water nearby was great too! Would definately come back with a larger group in the future, there was plenty of room to place a lot of tents comfortably. My 2WD car made the drive up and down to the site quite easily - be sure to watch for animals on the way up!

Site 3, nice back in site on river, water and electricity, platform on river bank. Enjoyed watching the butterflies, had a fire in the fire ring. Clean site, thanks Kevin. And thanks to Kevin for video on finding driveway off Rt 25. There is traffic noise from Rt 25. Headed west then north on Rt 25 to Rt 16 then looped back on Rt 113 looking for Hemenway forest, and a trail head there. Beautiful countryside.

Stayed at campsite no.10 next to the small creek. Every other campsite seemed clean and well put like the one I stayed at. I liked that all the campsites are not to close to each other so it gives you some privacy. So far, it was a good place to camp in my rooftop tent for a bike trip at highland!

2 nights at Streeter Mountain Farm

Josh was spot on…easy to communicate with & available. He was able to accommodate my request to change from outside glamping to an indoor room, due to the weather without missing a beat. The accommodations were excellent, clean, practical & just as depicted. Rained while I was there & it was pretty cool, but the grounds were accessible with flowers blooming & the garden coming along beautifully! I would definitely return if in the area. Thanks Josh!

Although once almost totally cleared for crops and grazing, most of our land is now devoted to forestry, but some land remains open and devoted to forage crops. We also have a modern hillside maple orchard. Although we no longer actively farm full time, the stewardship of our farm is of upmost importance to our family. We encourage people to visit our property and enjoy it fully. We host a Boy Scout Troop campsite on another part of our property. We are located in the heart of the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region with countless cultural, and recreational opportunities just minutes away. We hope you will come for a visit and learn to love our farm and community as much as we do.Learn more about this land:Shaded Brookside Glen is a private, stream side, level, pull through site for a small RV, trailer, or tent. This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.

Chapman Pond Acres

Easy access to beautiful Chapman Pond (100 yards away), which is stocked with Trout and also home to Bass, Crappie and Perch. Great place to fish or just relax! The use of two kayaks and firewood available at no extra charge. (IF using the kayaks, they are to be brought back to the campsite and NOT left at the pond. If they are left at the pond and stolen, campers will be responsible for the replacement cost, which is about $600.) Lots of wildlife (loons, turtles, geese, deer, bear etc). You're free to explore the land and trails that go part way around the pond to the "Big Rock" and beyond. Info at the campsite for other nearby hikes and activities. We allow public access to the "Grassy Area", however larger camper groups that book this site have full access and are welcome to setup tents there, but no fires are allowed on the grass.. only in designated fire pit. (FOR THOSE WITH A TOW BEHIND CAMPER, you will want to drive to the pond boat landing at the end of Chapman Pond Rd, turn around, head back towards the campsite and BACK IN.) FOR THOSE WITH DOGS, we love dogs, we have our own. For everyone's safety and well-being we ask that you please keep them with you and under your control at all times. We have a farm nearby and want no casualties because of a loose dog. Also, our 90 lb APBT is very friendly but not to every dog he meets. $20 PET FEE - 2 DOGS MAX. SMOKERS, we allow smoking at the site but please dispose of your butts properly and help keep our property beautiful. All around beautiful and peaceful campsite. City of Keene is 15 minutes away. Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is bathhouse with two toilets and two vanities as well as a shower with changing room. Potable water is also available from a spigot at the bathhouse. There are over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat. This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times. It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill. Please check the calendar for available dates. Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult. A note regarding electric vehicles (EV): If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups. If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.

The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".
