25 ft pop-up camper

Huge property with well-defined camping spots. About 25 minutes from Santa Fe. We stayed at the Avenue site with our pop up camper. A bit tight to also fit our truck, but we made it work. The bathhouse was a nice perk, with two toilets and a shower. Water for drinking and camping was available from a well pump at the first casita by the gate but it was a bit far to walk (but driving and parking there was an option). Brenda and Jimmy were wonderful hosts, good communication, very friendly. There was a puppy and the older white dog running around, which was a problem for our (unsociable) dog. But we came to an agreement on how to manage the situation and it worked out for everyone. There is a lot of grass and a pond, so there are also a lot of mosquitos and other flying insects, so bring repellant and long sleeves! The temperature was pleasant for us, early June. Not too hot during the day, and a nice chill at night! A nice break from Arizona heat! I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a private getaway! It is a bit close to the highway but otherwise very peaceful and private!

We had a great stay at Agua de Vida!! Directions were easy to follow and site was as described. Loved walking to the pond each night. The evening rain showers were magnificent. Nanni, the camp canine , visited every night and I fell in love!! Brenda and Jimmy went above and beyond in helping us out with vehicle trouble. We were very grateful. Highly recommend a stay!

10 nights at Abiquiu Tiny House
This place is gorgeous! Harvey is an incredible host with many stories to tell. He made a consistent effort to make me comfortable and recommended local hiking spots to check out. It’s right by Abiquiu lake which has a gorgeous swimming beach, too. There’s basically no light pollution so the view of the sky at night is amazing!! I can’t wait to stay here again!

Outstanding views of a beautiful world! We missed sunset but woke up for sunrise and were not disappointed. The walk to the outhouse is well lit and the place has great energy. A bumpy ride up to the Mesa is rewarded with peaceful sanctuary!

This was a great place to stay close to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The land was gorgeous, felt fairly private, lovely views, and we especially had fun boating on the pond and meeting the camp dogs. As other reviewers have said the freeway is a bit loud but earplugs worked and we did appreciate the easy access.

This is such a beautiful property and A-frame. My friends and I couldn’t stop talking about how happy we were to be there out in the trees & mountains. It is a cozy place with firewood piled high ready to use for the fire pit, benches and a picnic table, and the string lights in the kitchen that added to the already sweet cozy ambiance. So many little touches that added to the experience. Don’t let the outhouse deter you, it has wallpaper if you can believe it and it actually adds to the experience in a way you won’t understand until you stay here! It is truly the best place we’ve ever stayed in Jemez. I am tempted to keep this A-frame to myself but I can’t help tell others about how great it is; it is a hidden gem and I highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Jemez the best off-grid way possible. We were just 4 best friends looking to grow in our friendship and unplug, playing guitar / singing outside around the fire and then inside up in the loft late into the night. This A-frame served us well. We’ll never forget it.

This camp is just TOO COOL! We drove right to the camp, with no directional issue(s). I would say a daylight arrival made it simpler. The table at the camp needs repair/replacement. The cemetery completes the gifts this camp offers.

Weekend Trip to Abiquiu Tiny House
I enjoyed staying at Harvey's place. It was a nice spot to jump off and explore the area. All of the things one would need are here. The weather was a bit brisk at night, so having a cozy place to sleep was nice. Cooking facilities are more than adequate, as is everything else. I was solo for this trip, but a couple would have plenty of room to stay here and enjoy. Harvey gave me exact directions two days before my arrival and was available to answer any questions. Spot was quiet and not too far from places I chose nearby to go on adventures. Hope to return soon. Thanks, Harvey, for your hospitality.

Beautiful property. Outstanding night sky. We were the only campers on location during our overnight stay.
The RV sites are very close together which would be especially nice if camping with a group of friends and/or family.
Visited the chicken coop which included peacocks and rabbits.
Nice peaceful pond. The property dog was a sweetheart.
Very nice clean bathrooms...one with a shower.
Would definitely visit again.

Easy access off I-25. Brenda is a wonderful host; kind, carrying & great communicator. There were 4 pull through sites (side by side) where we stayed, super easy to navigate. Property is very well kept with beautiful vistas.

Glad we didn’t cancel since there was hail the night before. It rained a little overnight and it was perfect! Slept great. Sunsets and sunrises here are beautiful. Also, Nanny was a sweetheart and hung out with us and our dog. Already missing it!

Weekend Trip to Abiquiu Tiny House
The Tiny House was absolutely perfect. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. In fact, it’s not so tiny at all, and Harvey thoughtfully built it himself!
This place is an ideal location for all things that Abiquiu and nearby towns have to offer. We did several long hikes around the area and loved coming back to this peaceful abode.
Harvey is a phenomenal host, and we are already looking forward to visiting again! Thank you, Harvey, for the best stay in NM.

We stayed at the Upper Edge campsite and aside from a little bit of highway noise it was peaceful and private. Brenda was a very gracious host and directions were spot on. There’s a pretty walking trail through the camp and a very friendly “camp canine.” 30 minute easy drive to Santa Fe and Pecos National Historic Park just a few miles away. I would definitely stay there again.

The campsite was beautiful and very relaxing by the little lake with many birds. I loved how close it was to I-25 (but surprisingly quiet) for easy access to Santa Fe and that it felt secure because it was gated. I would definitely stay here again if I came to NM.
