Fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. We brought our dog along, and she had an absolute blast. The on-site amenities—bathroom, kitchen, and a screened-in porch—were a really nice touch. The outdoor shower added to the comfort of the stay. There’s also a small pond stocked with bass, so you can enjoy fishing all day. It’s a perfect place for a family camping trip, with shops and restaurants just a short drive away. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it!

Site 5 was a nice secluded area where we could relax and enjoy the day. The lake had some good fishing spots and we enjoyed making a bonfire at our campsite. Would recommend to anyone who wants to leave the stress of the city for a few days

My wife and I had a great time. It was very quiet, and the land was beautiful. The creek was very nice to cool down in and relax. It feels very private but its only a short walk away from the restroom. Over all its a very nice spot that i would highly recommend

We enjoyed staying here! It was beautiful, peaceful, and, when we were there in May, there were very few mosquitoes. One down side is that we were in direct sunlight until 7:30 pm, although plenty of sunlight is to be expected when camping in a meadow. If we stay there again in the summer we will definitely bring some sort of canopy.

I had a wonderful camping experience here! The location is surprisingly close to downtown, yet it feels like a peaceful escape far from the city buzz. The hosts have two friendly horses, which added a charming touch to the stay. One of the highlights was watching fireflies at night — truly magical! There are several designated camping spots to choose from, and they also allow access to the restroom in their home, which was very convenient. Right next to the site, there’s a scenic cycling and walking trail running along the Neuse River — perfect for a relaxing morning or evening stroll. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick nature escape without leaving the city area!

The fallen trees were harvested and the land was cleared and a pond was built and a blueberry patch was planted. Pitch your tent(s) in our private meadow with a small pond on our 21 acre property. You're welcome to fish and walk around the property. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights. We have a very friendly farm dog named Luna that does roam the property and will likely visit you. Chapel Hill, Mebane, and Hillsborough are all short drives from your campsite.
