Weekend Trip to Birdhouse Farm Camp And Cabin

I highly recommend staying with Jennifer !! The Pond Side Cabin was absolutely beautiful and lovely. The hosts were very courteous and hospitable. The campsite itself was very private, and the versatility of being able to open/close the side of the cabin allowed for very fun and immersive nights. The food Jennifer cooked for us was professional grade and knocked out any expectations I could have had out of the park. Overall I highly recommend this campsite and I will be returning!

Weekend Trip to Woody Acres

Katie and Austin were wonderful hosts. Attentive and available but respectful of privacy. The camper was adorable. Both aesthetically pleasing and very practical. Had everything one could need and then some. The outdoor kitchen was a dream. Will be planning another stay soon.

We had an awesome time at the cabin! William was a great host! We had to call, trying to find it late at night, and he was calm and patient helping us find the place! Weekend Trip to Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch Creekside Retreat

Got away from the city for the night and ended up here in Thornville, OH, 10 minutes away from Buckeye Lake. Stayed at this working bison ranch in their White Tail Tipi and it was a relaxing stay. The farm was scenic and the bison burgers were delicious. Carrie was a great host and everything was at the camp that you would need to be comfortable. Recommend this for anyone looking to get away from their normally busy lives & needs relaxation/peace. Can’t wait to stay again!

Weekend Trip to Pop's Place Camping

The cabin was cute and clean and in good condition. The beds were comfy. Had paper plates and plastic utensils and paper towels already in the cabin. It was very private because it was raining so there wasn’t anybody outside or anything. More affordable than a lot of other cabins. There was a massive spider under one of the extra pillows. And there was a cute cat that showed up on our last night just wanting to hang out with us.

Weekend Trip to Lazy Ferret Glamping

Ryan and Jodi land was our absolute favorite! They were so friendly upon arrival, and were great at communicating and updates over the weekend and made sure to make themselves available for any questions. We loved how quiet the area was and Ryan and Jodi were so kind to prepare drinking water, firewood, and a camp shower ready for use. We would love to come back and highly recommend!

3 nights at Woody Acres

Exactly how described, adorable AF, peaceful, convenient location and wonderful hosts. Did not want to leave the magical bus life. ✨🌈The hilltop is wonderful for rainbows and sunsets. It stayed warm during cool spring rain, didn’t get too humid, the sound of the rain was not too loud on the metal bus, the birdsongs were beautiful. Will be back.

The cabin was so rustic and cute, and the privacy was wonderful. We enjoyed the birdsong and frogs calling. We enjoyed being off grid and brought our yeti cooler and a string of battery powered LED lights for evenings. The propane cookstove worked great. We really enjoyed our stay although there were a few things that could be improved. We understand rustic, we do rustic, we love rustic. However rustic does not mean the grass shouldn't be mowed (it was a foot high in spots), or that the cabin shouldn't be clean (mouse droppings everywhere-especially 2nd floor which we didn't use), or that the cabin couldn't be made more comfortable (more than one screened window per floor would allow better airflow). And not sure what's up with the water. We've used cistern stored water before, but this water smelled like poop! If you ran the spigot awhile, the smell would dissipate somewhat. But next time you used it, back to the poop smell. But even so, the pros outweighed the cons, and we would stay again if in the area.

Weekend Trip to Geode Nature Domes

Our stay here was incredible. Marci was welcoming and generous and the dome itself was so much fun to stay in. She lives on the property within view of the dome and is just a short walk down to the bottom of the hill (where the restroom and shower is, too). There are neighbors just on the other side of the dome, too, but wooden fence dividers retained our privacy. Everything was so clean. We even got to use the larger dome, meant for yoga retreats and group classes, as our own private yoga studio for a day. This is a beautiful place to stay and we’d love to come back!

We really enjoyed staying here! Ed and Michelle were great hosts. They were very warm and helpful. The cabin (Moose Cabin) was really clean and the mattresses were comfortable. It was nice that bedding was provided. Our kids had a blast there and Ed and Michelle were so kind to them. The port-a-potty was very clean and the outdoor shower was also really nice. It's obvious that Ed and Michelle have worked hard to make this a great place to stay and value their guests.

1 night at Cozy mountain log cabin

Peaaceful, trees and sunlight, 10 different bird species singing in the morning 🐦‍⬛🤓; easy to find location definitely off the beaten path up some dirt roads. Cabin was clean on bed was very comfortable. There are trails on the land that are meant for ATVs, which I didn’t use, but I walked on them with my dog and the solitude was great William was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. New private hot tub. I didn’t get a chance to get in it to tired from traveling. The area is gorgeous. If you have not been just riding through the countryside hills was serene.

We loved camping here! We stayed in both the hickory hut and the bus and both were delightful. We came for hocking hills but also loved just hanging out on the land. Very good vibes, Kate and Austin were very kind, the trails at the property were really nice. 10/10

Our farm has been in the family for over 50 years. My Cherokee Grandmother purchased the farm with the intention of giving each of her children property. We have been raising bison here since 2008. We chose the name Cherokee Valley to honor my heritage and the gift of this farm by my grandmother and mother. We created this tipi experience to share that gift with you! Enjoy a night in our spacious 22 foot tipi. We provide a comfortable queen platform bed for your convenience.
