Weekend Trip to Tiny Shiny Escape, River Runs Thru!

Very peaceful with the little stream running behind the spot. My class C was a bit of a tight fit but it worked. Chad was an amazing host and the area is very scenic. There is also a hiking trail 3-5 minutes up the road. The spot itself is very private feeling with trees surrounding. This location is also starlink friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well tended and the hookups worked. We didn't have shade and the spots are quite close together otherwise it was quiet at quiet time which was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gateway Luxury RV Campground. Our site, #35 had beautiful views of the mountains. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The campground was very clean with great amenities. Location was perfect, just 30 minutes to Zion National Park and easy access to coffee shops, grocery stores and more.

Bryce Valley Ranch was beautiful and very spacious. It offered lots of amenities and the hosts make sure you are taken care of!

Great facilities and beautiful property. We only stayed one night but we enjoyed it. The trails and the river bed were fun to take walks on. The covered pavilion, grassy area and community grill were wonderful. We cooked our dinner in the grill and didn't have to fuss with getting our trailer hot or coals going. The staff was very friendly.

Friendly and accommodating staff but way to close to the hwy. I would stay here again but I would select a site as far off the road as possible.

2 nights at South-40@LaSal Tent and RV Park

Stars were amazing and not like a crowded campsite. Only 4 sites so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Don’t miss Wilson’s arch. We went over for sunset because it’s the closest one for sunset. We sat up there and mostly had it to ourselves too. It was our last night in the area and did not want to do another hour drive into one of the parks. Also, the dog could go to that one.

Providing towels in the showers was an unexpected pleasure.

1 night at Wonderland RV Park

Checking in was easy, people were very nice and helpful. Site was as expected and had a nice view to the south. Facilities were good.

3 nights at Moab RV and Glamping Resort

We stayed at this RV camp for 3 nights. It was beautiful, very clean and quiet. Away from traffic and town but close enough to easily get anything you needed. A handy store for forgotten items and a very clean shower and bathroom. Beautiful landscape and a very helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again.

1 night at Gateway Luxury RV Resort

We weren’t sure we could stay her because we were car camping and not staying in a RV. The staff gave us the green light and made check in easy. Down to calling us to explain check in procedures since we would be getting in very late. The location was clean and organized. Well lit and quiet. The amenities were fantastic the views were great. We will definitely be back soon.

1 night at Cedar Canyon RV Retreat

We loved the Cedar Canyon Hipcamp spot - we were in RV18 after an amazing drive from Escalante and Bryce - over the Route 14 mountain top where we caught a beautiful snow storm that made for post card like photos. The Cedar Canyon campground may well be the cleanest and best facility we have ever been to. Look forward to returning on way back to Escalante in the future - Thanks!

Rio Riata Hobby Horse Ranch

Hello, and welcome to my private horse hobby ranch. My family has lived in Southern Utah for over 26 years. This property is within only a couple miles of the Three Peaks Recreation area near Cedar City, Utah. Three Peaks offers mountain bike trails, hiking, free day use campfire sites, an RC track, ATV and OHV trails, campgrounds, and an equestrian obstacle course and trailheads. Nearby is the county shooting range as well. Cedar City is home to many more hiking, biking and equestrian trails all within a 10 - 30 min drive away. Bryce Canyon National park is only a 1 hour’s drive away. Zion’s national park is only a 1 1/2 hour’s drive away. Cedar canyon is only a 20 min drive away and boasts beautiful canyons with evergreen trees, aspens, ponds, trails, and waterfalls. Cedar Breaks National Park is only a 20-30 min drive away with spectacular rock cliffs and overlooks. Brianhead ski and mountain bike resort is also only a 30 min drive away. This is a central location with endless possibilities to go exploring the amazing outdoors. This is a private residential property in a neighborhood with lot sizes ranging from 1 to 10 acres. There is only one RV site so it’s much quieter than a public campground. The driveway area circles around the private home so it is easy to pull your RV through to the RV pad/spot. Please realize your respect to this property and neighborhood is of utmost importance. There are neighbors with cows, geese, chickens, goats, dogs and pigs so realize it’s not as quiet as some places but still more private than many public venues. We also respect you, so please look at pictures and read descriptions. I am happy to answer any questions before you book. There is only one RV site here. You could put a tent up in the dirt but I don’t recommend it as I can’t imagine it would be very comfortable. There are horses in corrals, my people and dog friendly dog is off-leash, and there are 5 barn cats who roam free on the property (2 of which are as friendly as dogs). All persons staying on the property will need to sign a liability waiver since it is a horse property and horses are present. My horses aren’t offered for riding but ask about other ways you can interact with them if you desire. At no additional cost you can help care for them, brush them, and learn a few fun facts about them. For a fee you can get guided experiences with them on the ground (not in the saddle), do breath work sessions with them, and learn basic horsemanship skills.

The Needles district of Canyonlands is about 1 hour from Camp; Moab and Arches National Park are only 35 minutes away, and there are exciting features to explore right in our neighborhood. • Looking Glass Arch, Lopez Arch and Wilson Arch are all about 15 minutes away! • The world-famous motorcycle route, Colorado 90, begins just 12 miles away, with fine scenery all the way. • Hook and Ladder OHV Trail system is less that five miles.
