Come experience the awe that we get to experience daily. The river is in our backyard and we want to share our slice of heaven with you. The river is a place for relaxation, as well as being a great place to fish or just hang out with friends. The river also provides an opportunity for learning about nature and wildlife. The sound of birds is one of the most beautiful sounds on Earth. It is a sign of life, it is a sign of hope. Birds are plentiful along the river and you are sure to enjoy the concert that they have prepared specially for you. There's no need to drive too far from Little Rock – in fact, you can find a great campsite just across the Arkansas River from P. Allen Smith's famous Moss Mountain farm. This spot is teeming with wildlife, and you may even be able to catch some fish or watch Eagles soar. Stargazing is strongly encouraged here – under a dark sky, the stars appear big and bright. Please enjoy your stay and help us keep it that way. No parties and no unsupervised minors. We are in the country and there are no fences. You may be greeted by neighborhood dogs. We have never experienced any aggression and most of them are happy to get pet by our guests. If they are bothering you, simply provide a stern, "go home" and they usually will leave you be. On the other hand if you pet and feed them they will be your new best friend. We host on Hipcamp because we love the outdoors. We love traveling across the country, exploring, and experiencing new things. We are fortunate enough to have found our slice of heaven and we're so excited to share it with other travelers from near and far. It often becomes an opportunity to hang out with like minded people and make new friends.Come experience the awe that we get to experience daily. There are plenty of places to camp and RV in the area, but this spot is a hidden gem.  You can park your RV or pitch your tent on the bank of the Arkansas River. Watch the lovely sunrise and sunsets while surrounded by nature. Bring a watercraft or fish off the dock. Marvel at the dark sky and spend the night star gazing. Sit around the fire pit and enjoy a beverage. If tranquility is what you are looking for, this is the place for you. I enjoyed my 1st Hipcamp experience here. I wanted to camp somewhere else, besides the usual locations & here wasn’t but about another 15 minute drive. The scenery was beautiful & being able to use Jason’s deck, chairs, ect was relaxing. Price is comparable to staying at a state park or Corps of Engineers also. The privacy I had was worth the few $ more. Will definitely camp here again soon.

Such a cool place to stay while traveling through. The river view is just what we needed on the journey. There’s plenty of room to pull in, get comfy and relax. Camp host is friendly and helpful, more than accommodating. We would definitely stay here again 😊

Jason's place and his hospitality were great. We arrived after a long work week and his brief greeting and lay of the land were very helpful and informative. The site has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful day right next to the Arkansas River. Watching the barges go by was a really cool perk too. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone.

As usual my wife and I had a great time! Jason is a really good host and shows hospitality beyond expectation! We got the needed down time and enjoyed being so close to Little Rock as well. Beautiful views of the Ark. river. I receommend this spot to anyone!

Perfect setting. Had it not been for bad weather, we would have enjoyed it more. Off the beaten path, but easy access to the spot.

I cannot say enough good things about this campsite!! Everything went smoothly, from the communication to finding the spot to the set up. Very dog friendly, my two pups had a blast playing with the neighborhood dogs. The morning view of the river was wonderful. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Beautiful spot on the Arkansas river, I agree with others that while it is in the owners back yard it still feels private. Go prepared for mosquitos to be sharing the experience, especially if you go in the summer. The sunsets are beautiful and the moon is gorgeous reflecting off the river. the ramp to the dock is very steep, and while there are steps to the side it does not connect to the dock, so toddlers or anyone that struggles with climbing etc would not do well going down to the water. Our kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught some minnows with a net we had. The owner was a great communicator and made sure we didn’t have any issue with getting settled.

I've been on hipcamp for about four months, and I can honestly say this was my favorite spot that I've been. The hosts were really genuine people, and made us feel very welcome. I have two big dogs, and being able to have them off-leash (and playing with the house dogs) was incredible. My 8 year old even played with their young daughter. You can park right on the edge of the waterfront, and they even have a dock you can go down and stand along the water. I've stayed here twice now, and I intend to go back. Waking up looking at the (super wide) river is a gift and this area outside of little rock is a hidden gem.

Jason was a fantastic host. I booked late last night on our way through Little Rock. I was able to book at 10pm which was amazing for us to be able to stop and hook up for a night of rest. Such a beautiful spot on the river too! Wish we could have stayed longer but I enjoyed my coffee by the dock before check out. Great for any stop! Thank you so much Jason!

We loved staying on the river! Jason and Tess were wonderfully friendly hosts who felt like family. Our evening was relaxing and peaceful. We were lucky enough to see a barge in the early morning hours and the dense fog over the river was mystic and beautiful! If we come through Arkansas again, we will surely return here!

Only stayed for one night on our way to Colorado, great place right on the river. Can’t speak for how quiet it is at night because we had some rough storms. Definitely wish we had more time to enjoy the place. Jason was a great host and very friendly and easy to talk to, he was even thoughtful enough to shoot me a text when storms were coming.

We pulled in for a last minute one night and wished we had more time. The spot is right on the river and so beautiful. We walked down the road past pecan orchards and fields and were greeted by neighbors dogs. Would highly recommend this spot!

Jason's place was absolutely beautiful and tranquil. We decide to not spend the day in Little Rock as planned and just spent the day relaxing on the deck above the river. We will definitely stay there tbe next time we come through.

What A Delight!

This was our first night staying in an Airstream and we are spoiled for life! Jason and Tessa we so *kind* and helpful. The person who rented us the airstream did not include linens, but our hosts were sweet enough lend some to us. We also had an issue with our hitch level and Jason solved it. The river was beautiful, we saw ducks and eagles. Would absolutely come back!

The view of the river from this property is absolutely gorgeous and Jason is incredibly welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We loved waking up to a view of the river and the water pump was an added bonus!

What a perfect spot right on the river!! And though I missed seeing a sunset, I didn’t miss an amazingly clear starry night and brisk morning sunrise!! Directions to the property were concise and easy to follow, and Jason was very accessible and flexible with my changing schedule. I will definitely recommend this property as it is easy to access from the highway and close to Little Rock!!
