Konocti View Campsites in picturesque Lakeport California, are located on the west banks of Clear Lake, the oldest natural lake in North America and the largest freshwater lake in California. Enjoy expansive views of the lake and Mt. Konocti Volcano while camping on the waters edge. Clear Lake is a perfect destination for outdoor and water activities. It is well-known for Bass fishing, boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, bird watching, and so much more. The areas surrounding Clear Lake provide hiking, biking, casinos, award winning wineries, and great dining options. As a matter of fact, on the weekends the best BBQ on the lake is right next door with catering available for your stay. (Feel free to ask for more details if interested.) The campground itself has minimal amenities. Guests have access to two bathrooms with flushing toilets and hand washing sinks. Each campsite is spacious and will easily accommodate a large tent or camper, a small table, BBQ, and lounge chairs. Sites #3 and #6 are larger for campe4rvans and RVs. Sites #1 and #4 are premium sites as they are in the front of the lot closest to the water. The "common area" is located at the front of the site on the waters edge and is great for watching the sunrise, fishing, bird watching, picnicking, etc. The is a propane fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a charcoal grill, At this time we discourage guests with small children due to the height of the seawall from the water and the absence of a fence around it. There is boat access to the campsites (and boat docking for a small fee) and Bass fishing is amazing this year! Its also the perfect spot for bird lovers as Clear Lake is home to Bald Eagles, osprey, swans, geese, ducks, and a multitude of feathered friends. Feel free to reach out for more info!

Konocti View Campsite #1 is one of two sites that are closest to the water. It's a 20 ft x 22 ft campsite and boasts an unobstructed view of the sunrise, Mt. Konocti Volcano and Clear Lake, and you can fish right from your campsite. It's large enough for an 8 person tent, lounge chairs, a small table. If you would like to pull your Camper or van into this spot you can, but you must also rent the space next to it (Campsite #3) to allow enough space for larger vehicles. This site borders the common area which is a 55 ft x 30 ft grassy area along the waterfront/seawall that is open to all guests to enjoy fishing, bird watching, lounging, picnics, etc. There is a propane fire pit and a charcoal grill. This is an unfenced area at the waterfront so we require that all quests are 18 and over. Currently, there are no hookups at this site. Guests have use of the restrooms (flushing toilet and hand sink) at the boat dock next door. Limited boat ramp access is also available for a small fee. There is an outdoor 3 compartment sink with running water for cleaning dishes, washing hands, etc. There is no garbage service so we ask that guests take all that they bring with them, including pet waste, and leave no trace.

Konocti View Campsite #4 is one of two sites that are closest to the water. It's a 20 ft x 22 ft campsite and boasts an unobstructed view of the sunrise, Mt. Konocti Volcano and Clear Lake, and you can fish right from your campsite. It's large enough for an 8 person tent, lounge chairs, a small table. For campervans or larger groups you need to rent two adjoining sites. This is not an RV spot. This site borders the common area which is a 55 ft x 30 ft grassy area along the waterfront/seawall that is open to all guests to enjoy fishing, bird watching, lounging, picnics, etc. There is a propane fire pit and a charcoal grill. This is an unfenced area at the waterfront so we require that all quests are 18 and over. Currently, there are no hookups at this site. Guests have use of the restrooms (flushing toilet and hand sink) at the boat dock next door. Limited boat ramp access is also available for a small fee. Konocti View Campsite #5

Joei is a wonderful host and was very helpful with our stay. We only stayed one night but she takes the time to walk you through her property and show you quickly the property. The location is amazing as well. We got to see the site during the day and at night and simply breathtaking both sights. Also I think she does a great job at maintaining the site but also with enough space that everyone has quite a bit of privacy. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re going to visit the area.

Konocti View Waterfront Campsite #1

This was such a pleasant stay! The space is ideal to be by the water with my paddleboard. The stars are amazing and I had the best camping neighbor who chatted with me at the fire pit, which was so cozy!
