The space was beautifully thoughtful. The placements of the lighting, the pitfire placed in the middle, and the lovely hammocks. Everything is peaceful.
Mikael also has a grill on site, the jacuzzi while staring at the stars is highly recommended too!

I had an incredibly peaceful and comfortable time! We were excited with lower expectations but were pleasantly surprised with how welcoming and clean everything was. It's really cute and well equipped. lmao I honestly had a better experience than any airb&b we have grabbed in the past. I appreciate the second property fence for the curious exploring pup! He adored your property lol. It was a nice escape for the whole family

Everything about Mikael’s stargazers cabin was beyond expectation. You enter the magical space and immediately feel like you are in your own little world. You can see how much thought and love went into creating a tranquil and beautiful oasis in the desert. Mikael himself was also above and beyond with great recommendations and cheerful demeanor. I truly appreciate his ability to create such an idyllic space and his willingness to share it with strangers.

For sure we can coming back to Mikael's place, great customer service, is a perfect place for a couples, but if ypu have kids they will have a blast.
Plus his recommendations were really helpful and uff the aki sushi that he recommend to me were awesome.and the price pretty reasonable. The workers are not so friendly hahaha but worth it on food , price and fast service.

Mikael has made a true 'gem' in the desert! The property is fenced off from the surrounding neighbors to create a very private atmosphere. The house has everything you could possibly need, classy clean decor and a wonderful desert vibe. Not to mention that Mikael has great communication during the stay as well. They even provided a clean water bowl and dog bed for our pups upon arrival! Definitely recommend Stargazer Cabin!

Truly a wonderful little slice of peace and quiet. The start gazing, the limited light pollution was really great. There's lots of privacy with fencing all around to ease into just relaxing. Lots of nice lighting around the yard help keep the whole vibe going. The indoor jacuzzi was a hit, really loved that. The outdoor jacuzzi? Just as much. Highly recommend this little retreat! The host was very responsive and was able to give plenty of recommendations of the surrounding area. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful and modern secluded cabin! Perfect for a romantic getaway under the stars. Mike was a wonderful host and very accommodating. Definitely recommend stargazing in the hot tub.

Desert Stargazer Cabin
Spent two peaceful nights at this Hipcamp in the desert. The site was well-maintained, and the stargazing was incredible with clear views of the Milky Way. A great spot for a quiet getaway.

Such a beautiful place! Our first night there we found the hot tub to be extremely enjoyable while watching the stars. Everything was well stocked and there were even condiments in the fridge and various spices on the counter in a cute little spice rack.
Directions were easy to access the property although the roads to get there leave something to be desired. My little Kia made it through all the bumps and sand no problem though.
Mike was very attentitive and reponded quickly to our messages.

This was my second stay at Stargazers Cabin, and it was just as incredible as the first! The cabin is beautifully maintained, cozy, and perfectly set up for a peaceful getaway. You can tell the host pours a lot of care into making sure everything is perfect for their guests.
One thing that really stands out—and that I truly appreciate—is the fact that the host doesn’t charge a cleaning fee! This is so rare and such a generous gesture! It’s a reminder for all guests to treat the cabin with care and leave it as clean as they found it so this policy can remain. Let’s respect the effort the host puts into making this place such a gem.
The host is amazing, always communicative, and goes above and beyond to make your stay special. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—it really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend Stargazers Cabin to anyone looking for a serene escape under the stars!

Wow this place EXCEEDED our expectations. we loved it so much we spontaneously spent another night. perfect and private with the best view of the full moon. Mikael was exceptional and we’ll definitely be back to our new favorite hipcamp😄

Our stay at the Stargazer Cabin was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning setting and thoughtful details throughout the property. The cabin was impeccably clean, cozy, and perfectly designed for relaxation.
The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the night sky—true to its name, the Stargazer Cabin offered an unforgettable experience of stargazing right from the comfort of the deck. The peaceful surroundings and serene atmosphere made it feel like a true escape from the world.
Every little touch, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy bedding, to the ginormous get bath tub, to the mints on our pillows, everything made it clear that the hosts put a lot of love and care into creating the perfect getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and connect with nature.
Mikael was an exceptional host, always quick to respond and communicate with us. Despite our late arrival around midnight, we emailed Mikael that same evening to see if he could accommodate us. He went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and comfortable. His attentiveness truly made our stay even more enjoyable!
We highly recommend the Stargazer Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque retreat. We’re already planning our next visit!

Mikael's property is beautiful and serene. Sunrise greets you in full view over the mountains each morning. Perfectly viewed from the large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, the outdoor jacuzzi, the porch hammocks, or right from bed. The house is situated to compliment the natural beauty of Joshua Tree. With a full fence I felt secluded, but still only 20 minutes to town if needed. Mikael set up the space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy relaxing at the campsite after spending the day hiking in the beautiful landscapes!
