It was a truly wonderful place – surrounded by mountains and offering a clear night sky full of stars, it felt peaceful and refreshing. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming; they even checked in to see if I needed anything, which made the stay feel personal and cared for. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for a getaway from the city. Whether you’re looking to unwind, stargaze, or just enjoy nature, this place is definitely worth a visit!

She was super friendly and helpful! Great spot with a nice view, sunrise was excellent. 3 miles from main road up dirt bumpy road to camp. 2wd accessible. No personal fires only community, which her son was very friendly on starting one for us!

This host created a posting with a trailer clearly in the positing, but when I showed up not only did 5 large dogs accost me (I'm allergic to dogs) but the host promised she'd refund me for the mistake stating that she had clearly mentioned in her posting that rvs were not allowed. She had written some 40 page description of her services and crammed it into a space on the hipcamp website it wasn't meant for (from which you extracted some relevant text). This wasn't even available to me when I was booking only after the booking. Then, instead of refunding me, in which case I would have just let it go as an honest mistake of mine or hers or both, she refused to refund me. She is clearly doing this on purpose to steal money from people. Don't ever stay at her resort. I rarely leave a review, but in this case people need to understand what they're getting themselves into.

My boyfriend & I came up from Wyoming for a much needed getaway & it was perfect! We ended up being the only campers for the night so they upgraded us from a tent/hammock spot to a Tipi! :)

This spot is beautiful and has a great view of the clearing. Campground is clean, beautiful and welcoming thanks to Chantelle!
So easy to get to from the front range and only 15 min from beau Jo’s!

Tent Site 1 - Sunrise Overlook
This site was perfect. My 5yo and I went up Friday after work. We found it no problem, Chantelle greeted us and directed us to the site, and we set up camp. Then we went to the communal area, a short 30 second walk away, and enjoyed the communal campfire and games. We made hotdogs and s'mores at the fire and went back to our quiet camp. The morning was cold and we woke up to the sunrise over the golden aspens. 10/10, we'll go back.

Truly the best camping experience - Chantelle is amazing and has created such a beautiful space to enjoy nature in.
The community campfire and SUPs are just some of the qualities that make this such a great campground to visit.
It’s also incredibly close to the front range which makes it perfect for a weekend getaway
Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We had an awesome time at this site. Chantelle is warm and welcoming, the land is beautiful, and we met so many new friends (furry and human) during our stay. My favorite aspect of this spot is the communal campfire. It really facilitates connecting with other campers and makes the experience feel like a mix between tent camping and summer camp. We will definitely be back!

Chantelle was super kind and helpful!! The road leading up to camp gets progressively bumpier, but we were A-okay with a typical 4 wheel drive. The tent site was super nice with woodchips on the ground for softness, and dogs are able to roam freely! The site views were stunning and I loved the communal aspect with games and a communal fire, everyone was so kind and welcoming.

Camp host was nice and knowledgeable about the immediate area. Common area with portalets, shared stove/grill, fire pit, and games was great and filled with sweet off-leash pups, which I loved. Unless you want to be very close to other campers and have a tiny tent, recommend skipping past tent site #6 for the dispersed area, which is a 3 acre parcel that doesnt require much walking to vehicle or bathrooms. Zero issues with bugs, which was nice. Offroad vehicles pass alongside the camp bringing dust and loud noise, so if you have sensory issues like I do I'd recommend having ear plugs on hand for the daytime on a weekend. Overall, great place for social dogs, young or solo campers, and anyone who prefers to not be around campers drinking alcohol.

Chantelle was so warm and welcoming, going out of her way to help us get the fire set up (and located a power bank to charge my phone). The property is beautiful and remote, but they are building out cute communal areas for folks at different camp sites to meet each other. My only dislike was the sound of ATV traffic on the nearby road (especially at night). Otherwise 10/10 stars and would definitely stay again.

Amazing view, great amenities, and the host was super kind and communicative. No campfires at the tent site itself, but a communal one is available. Bonus, there are 5 dogs who are super sweet who greeted us!

Rocky Mountain Tipi Retreat
Had a great time staying in the tipi. Played lots of games and met some great people. Kids had ton of fun. Definitely recommend

My husband and I stayed at the Sunrise Overlook Tent Site #1 which has an amazing view of the mountains. Big camp spot so there was plenty of room. Would definitely camp here again. The only thing was that the WiFi didn’t work where we were at, not like we were there for the WiFi though but I needed to use it to contact someone and I was not able to. No biggie!

An absolute gem. The setting was intimate, but everybody had their own space. Also the community pit is a great way to meet other people. Chantelle is a wonderful Host, definitely like talking to a friend you’ve had for years! Can’t wait to return.

10/10 experience! We were on a trip out west from tennessee and I cannot say enough kinda words about Chantelle, she was so welcoming and helpful. She provided extra gear and always made sure we felt safe and comfortable. The camp site was beautiful with plenty to do down the mountain. Will definitely be booking again!

Camp Always Choose Adventures was a wonderful experience! The property is beautiful with multiple open spaces you can explore and the sites and shared camp amenities were clean and well maintained. Chantelle was such an accommodating host, going above and beyond to help us when we locked our keys in the car and checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Not to mention, the proceeds Chantelle makes go into her non-profit, ACA which is pretty darn cool! We couldn’t have stumbled onto a better spot for the weekend.

I had a great experience staying here. Very welcoming and accommodating. Potra-potties were nice and the community area was really cool. I camped on the overlook which was beautiful. Great opportunities to see wildlife as well.
