This place is a little slice of heaven - what a beauty of a property to be able to share. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay immensely and really loved the animals as well! The baby pony and llamas were a treat. Great spot to bring kiddos. If you’re looking for camping + plus animals, book it. We even ran into an another group of VW campers, which was a treat. Yes, there are other campers here who are enjoying the land too. We didn’t mind this as there’s plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor bathrooms were also nice to have as they were super clean and nearby. Thanks so much for the experience. We’ll be back!

Debbie and Walt are phenomenal hosts and overall kind and wonderful humans. There is so much space to camp, the scenery is downright stunning and the animals are so much fun! I can’t wait to come back. The town of Bailey nearby has great laundry facilities and a few local shops.

Debbie was the sweetest camp host! She was so friendly, flexible, and accommodating with us. She knew we had 2 families staying and upgraded us to a larger site so that we would be more comfortable. The potty was just across the road from our camp site and was cleaned twice daily at least. My kids loved waking up to see ponies off wondering in the distance. We went on a walk and Debbie let the little ones feed the alpacas and llamas. We all had the best time.

This was a fantastic campsite! Debbie was incredibly helpful and the campsite was clean and well tended to. We had lots of privacy and our location and were able to see some cool wildlife. We would love to come back every year!

This was a fantastic place to camp. All the sites are very well maintained and there is a lot of space between camp sites. All the porta-potties were super clean (probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen) and conveniently located in relationship to the campsites. Definitely will be going back. Debbie and her husband are great hosts and very helpful and informative. Love all the animals that roam the property.

Family Time in Bailey, Colorado

#1 Choke Cherry - group site
This was our second year but this year we brought a lot more family along. There's just so much fun to do and be had right next to camp, exploring, animal sightings, and mini trails and rock groupings. Various whimsical and moving man-made structures adorn nooks along various camp sites. The baby horse getting to know his legs and the funny goat screams, we were unexpectedly entertained and enthralled in the beauty. Having a sun shade structure with tables underneath it were so helpful and really allowed us to have good weather coverage. The night dogs were doing their job well and one of the nights barked much of the night keeping something away from camp. We were able to get firewood onsite, the toilet was so clean and large. We also utilized a kids' table and when she says there is a ton of wood on the property to collect, it's no joke! Even with the rain, the wood burns great and we had coals going all weekend long.

Rustic Creek Ranch and our site was (Ponderosa #7) was picturesque. Debbie was friendly and helpful. We ended up leaving early due to weather, but hope to stay again in the future.

This spot is cool and well maintained. Debbie the owner came over and introduced herself. Her guardian dogs were well behaved and really took to my kids. We woke up to alpacas cruising around about 50 ft from camp (so fun!).
My 5 year old ended up leaving his coat (we didnt even notice). I received a message from Debbie and she mailed it back. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful grounds tucked right away from the road lots of privacy, clean facilities, and lovely hosts. . It can be a bit noisy at night, depending on the other campers close by, and dogs barking.

The campsite location is beautiful! The communication with Debbie, directions to the campground and site, and early check in were all great and we appreciated it. Our kids loved the goats, horses and llamas. The pictures were a bit misleading, making it look as though you have an isolated spot, and there are tons of other campers nearby. We paid for 5 bundles of firewood and they weren’t at our site when we arrived. They did come before it got dark, but it would have been nice to have confirmation. I would not recommend this camp site for groups that want to sit around the fire and chat. The quiet hours at dark did not work for our families. We’re a big group of friends that love to catch up and are considerate of sound (we camped with three 2 year olds who were asleep when we had our fire) and would still not choose this site again for that ‘family friendly’ feature.

Had a great time at Ravens Roost! Tons of open space and a nice hiking trail nearby. Debbie was a generous host who communicated well and made sure we were taken care of. Hope to be back again!

It was a great little site! Secluded enough that it feels private, and blocked from a lot of the wind. There’s a bit of a slope but we fit a 12 person tent with no issues. The alpacas and tiny horses roaming around were so cute!

Great name for this property. It is rustic and remote yet pretty good roads for the most part. Beautiful area and our site was fairly flat and the other sites we walked by looked to be the same. The camp host, Debbie, was great and stopped by one afternoon and spent some time chatting. This is a large property and Debbie definitely has busy days caring for it all. Many sites to choose from and a lot of space between sites. Would stay again.

Debbie made it super easy to find our spot with the map provided. We stayed at Little Meadow, which had a nice canopy with table/chairs and a super nice outhouse! It was also near a nice creek. Debbie was super friendly and a highlight was her sweet dogs!! Thank you, we’ll be back!

Another incredible stay with Debbie on her property. Communication was great, Debbie checked in with us just the right amount, and included our large group of young families in animal feeding, riding in the back of her truck, and even made sure to find us again when a mini pony happened to be born while we were staying with her. An unforgettable experience for all of us- what a special place!!

This place is awesome! Scenic, safe, secluded and clean. Debbie and her husband were great hosts. We will be back without question. The picnic tables and mini tables for the tots were really appreciated amenities for the little ones activities. Oh and it’s only about an hour from Denver - hard to believe this experience exists so close. No cell phone service is just what the doctor ordered!

On our second stay at this wonderful property we once again had a marvelous time in remote and beautiful mountain country! Debbie stopped by for a chat and we had a lovely conversation. We bought some of her jam, which is absolutely wonderful! We had a Lama and Alpaca wonder through our campsite while I was cooking breakfast one morning. They were so docile and pretty. It really added to our experience. I would say you can't go wrong with any site on this property, but we just LOVED Dog House! It was perfect for our little camper, and would certainly accommodate a larger one. In all, a wonderful visit!

This was our first time to stay at Rustic Creek Ranch, and we loved it! For years we have been camping at nearby Buffalo Creek and here we felt safer on private land, and we greatly appreciated the large spaces, privacy, quietness and the views. What a fascinating business idea to make this beautiful land available for camping enthusiasts. We will return here!
