The campsite is gorgeous and in a beautiful valley . Very special location and private , with very few people on the road . Quiet and peaceful. You should be prepared for mosquitos as the site is near a wetland. Aron was very accommodating and very responsive. Great host. Recommend!

The site has beautiful views but know the pictures are deceiving. The site is very tight. The host was quick to respond to questions until asked specifics about creek access and any related to finding areas pictured. He went silent at that point. The site is easy access to FairPlay for provisions, Breckenridge and Mt. Quandary. Overall I would would recommend this site at half the price paid knowing what I now know.

Beautiful views however we were unable to locate any areas shown in photos. The host was quick to answer questions until asked specifics about trail and creek access advertised. It seems this is surrounded by private property. This site is on a hill that’s been excavated. Take a small tent. It is a short drive to quandary peak and Breckenridge. The neighbor, if he’s there, is vey nice and provided much more intel about the area and access than the host.

This location is beautiful! We fly fished a bit (definitely need waders because it's a marshy walk to get to the river). This place lived up to it's name as we saw 2 moose on Saturday. Absolutely gorgeous. We will be back!

We actually stayed at the Creekside site because a larger group needed this site. The Creekside site had a view of the beautiful creek and wetland complex. It was soothing to hear the creek day and night. We even saw a mama and baby moose a few times during our visit. Aron was super responsive and helped us find the hiking trail. Will definitely be back!

Overall had a great experience. The location was perfect with beautiful scenery outside of the campsite. The site itself was a little less than desired. As experienced backpackers we expected to arrive to our site being pristine. This was not the case. The cabin is undergoing a remodel and the property reflects that. There was noticeable trash and debris all around the area. I was forced to move old rusty metal to have a place to set up a tent safely. It was not the end of the world but it was definitely disappointing having to encounter this when expecting a site free of debris. Now I have brought these issues up with the owner and he informed me he would address the issue and was apologetic for the whole situation. I am writing this not to discourage anyone to book this location, but to understand what they are getting into in advance. Seems it would be best suited for a trailer and not so much tent camping.

Beautiful scenery!! The general location in the mountains and access to a 4 mi RT private trail up to an alpine lake are the highlights. The site is within walking distance to the trailhead. We saw a herd of about 50 elk and also saw a herd of bighorn sheep up near the lake. Moose tracks in the area too. Actual site is up a mildly steep incline and the available site is hard and rocky - a cleared side of the hill rather than a natural site and difficult to locate a softer ground for tenting. We placed our tents on the 'driveway' for some plant covered ground that was mostly flat. Better for a small tear drop trailer imho. No easy access to trees for hammock setup. A few cars drove by and one stopped at the base of campsite with their barking dog for an odd amt of time but eventually left. The site is located across the road from the stream and there is not a trail to the stream. It is nice to hear the running water at night. Beautiful to walk along the road for an evening stroll. Site is accessible via sedan, go slow but very doable.

Beautiful spot near the end of the road! We chose to camp and set up our chairs on the driveway for the best views, but there were other great level spots buried in the trees. Very quiet and peaceful!

We picked Aron’s property for our first Hipcamp and I’m afraid the bar has been set so high that we’re never going to experience anything like it again. We backed our truck camper about halfway up the driveway and were treated to postcard views from our kitchen window. One morning we saw a small herd of mountain goats weaving through the brush near the stream directly across from us. If you’re looking for quiet time in an area few people ever see you’ve found the right spot. Aron was very responsive, not that we communicated much because the directions were clear and the coordinates spot on. Thank you Aaron, your property is amazing.

Aron was incredibly communicative and quick to respond. The spot was right in front of his cabin so I felt weird at first searching for a tent spot but it I found one and it was perfect. It was a nice little walk to the end of the row to a couple cute little waterfalls. Secluded and quiet, exactly what we needed. I would definitely camp here again.

This site is incredible! Very private and secluded. You are at the end of a rural dirt road, which is partially visible from the campsite, but we maybe saw 1-2 cars the entire weekend we stayed. The site had plenty of space for 2 people and 1 dog. It is a short walk away from an incredible hike with awesome mountain and alpine lake views -- we had the whole trail to ourselves during our stay! I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for a secluded, off-grid, easily accessible camping experience.

We had an amazing time camping on Aron’s land! Hiked around, saw several moose, watched an amazing sunset and sunrise, and enjoyed all around great views. The sounds of the nearby stream were so peaceful, and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Incredible location! 11,000ft, you can easily see the alpine zone, Mt Sherman and it’s range right in font of the site. Along with a boggy creek where we saw a moose! Also had a friendly fox visit our site looking for dinner. It’s remote and about 15min somewhat rough in spots gravel road trip from Fairplay. Moderate size spot for camping, we had a small 12” trailer that fit easily.

Amazing site! The views from the campsite as fantastic and highly recommend. It’s at the end of a road so only a couple cars drove by and was not a big deal. Definitely back into the site if pulling a teardrop trailer.

I loved the location of Aron’s campsite! The vista was stunning, we saw a bull moose walk right down the road, not 30ft away, definitely a highlight. The hiking trail is easily found, and ends at a high alpine lake. Quiet area, would definitely visit again :)

Wow, this campsite is SO beautiful! The drive to the site took us past beautiful golden aspens, mountain views, the creek, and we even saw a moose. I seriously can't believe this place is under 2 hours away from Denver! I would absolutely come back and stay here again. Aron was also super communicative throughout my trip. Thanks so much for having us!

Excellent site for a camping trip! Aron’s property was absolutely amazing. The directions were clear to the site, and it had a nice sized flat area that fit my canopy, camp kitchen, and tent. The thing that sets this spot above is access to the Sacramento Creek! Following along different moose trails through the brush (you can see the moose in the early morning and evening moving through the creek) gives you access to wonderful high altitude trout fishing. Was able to catch and release quite a few with my buddy. Overall a great couple of days in the mountains and Aron was communicative the whole trip. Would definitely stay again.
