It was pretty nice! A quiet campsite next to a small pond with good views. The bathroom was a bit rudimentary, but Tim was very welcoming and we had a great time.

Such a peaceful piece of property in the mountains! Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Tim was very welcoming and helped me build a fire when I first arrived! I would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful area. I recommend bringing bedding or sleeping bags for the Yeti hut. It was great to have shelter for spring camping with unexpected rain/snow. We stayed warm in the hut!

We had a fantastic camping experience at Tim’s place. The area is clean, quiet, and absolutely beautiful—perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature. What really stood out was how thoughtful Tim was. He checked in with us daily just to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered helpful recommendations on places to visit nearby. It’s clear he cares about his guests having a great time. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful property. It would have been my dream camping trip come true if I was a little better prepared. This was one stop along my way moving to Idaho from North Carolina, I have the overlanding setup. Roof top tent, on board water, shower tent, I even have a diesel heater and icy breeze air conditioning cooler. Problem is, I was doing more than just camping I was moving and had a bunch more than I normally would. My heater was buried beneath all my other crap. I decided, well I make the best of it and just sleep in the cab of my truck and enjoy the beautiful scenery. About midnight I couldn’t feel my toes anymore so unfortunately I called it and went into town for a hotel. If I would have planned a little better on where I packed my stuff, this would have been an amazing stop!

We are cross-country road tripping (OR to OH) and were thankful to be able to book this site same day. We arrived late at night but were able to easily find our camp site and get settled in. It’s spring time so got pretty chilly at night, but we were prepared for that. The lake was frozen but would be PERFECT for a summer time camp spot with dogs who like to swim. The stars at night are incredible.

Lakeside cabin
We booked the Lakeside cabin and tent spot for a cold couple of nights in April, and it was an amazing experience. The land is beautiful and secluded, the pond was frozen over, there was plenty of firewood provided, the host and neighbors have adorable friendly dogs that came to play with us. A couple of us slept in the tent, and a couple more slept in the cabin to stay out of the 30° weather. We had an absolute blast. This site is far enough away from town that you probably will not have *any* cell signal the whole time you’re there, but close enough that you can make a 20 minute drive down the mountain if you need to call anyone. The cabin is simple and rustic but pretty cozy and well stocked. We couldn’t get the propane grill to light, but we were able to cook over the fire with equipment provided. I have already recommended this site to several friends and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, gorgeous camping experience — just know your limits and think carefully if you’re booking during cold weather.

Me and my partner car camped here for the night last minute and everything was perfect! Tim was very quick to get back to us when we booked and to answering questions we had. Upon arrival Tim showed us where we would be staying and explained the area a bit to us. We loved this spot so much it was a perfect spot to pull in and chill for the night! And bonus points for having wood already supplied for us to have a fire! Definitely would come back!!

This little cabin on the pond was absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go back in the summer time and enjoy the pond even more. Would highly recommend staying here. And what an incredible host Tim was.

Amazing place to stay, especially if you like skating! The owners are extremely nice and accommodating, they will make you feel at home. I will for sure be back.

Maybe in the spring and summertime this place might be worth the trip, we went in Nov for my son’s bday who is no longer with us. First u loose any and all gps as you enter really rough turning, we had to map our way and pray for luck to find it, once we did there was no heat in the hut at all it was 15 degrees and no service to call or text the owner Tim, had to drive back down a long dark road at night with no gps and it was snowing once I reach out to Tim I recieved no reply at all up to and including today. He have no idea 🤷 f there is a heat source for winter in the hut, we had to rent a hotel and spend the night there, no customer service, no reply, no heat in winter, and left stranded. Would not recommend

I had such an awesome time glamping at the yeti cabin with my cat and dog!:) the location is gorgeous surrounded by mountains and a little pond. I enjoyed the campfire at night and ice skated in the morning. I will never forget this trip! The cabin is tiny but mighty and stocked with everything you might need. It did get chilly at night so bring your sleeping bag/heater. The host Tim & his lovely wife are so welcoming and so nice! They provided lots of information and were super responsive. I went there as a solo camper and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

We were in the area for tent camping and found a spot on Tim's land that worked well for us. It snowed more than we expected and Tim was super helpful, he cleared the driveway for us so we'd be able to get out safely in the morning. The view was amazing!

I rent out cabins/camping spots almost every other week and this has been one of my favorites. This spot has everything you can think of. So many games, a kayak and a row of bikes. The location is amazing and feels so secluded. My dog adored the pond and we played all day!

Beautiful setting w/ four tent sites and one small cabin surrounding a pond. Really appreciated the abundance of free firewood provided by the host. Note, the only firepit is a shared area that can by all five campsites. The small cabin is right next to the firepit, so if you book this spot be aware that you are staying in the "social hub" of the property.

This was a GREAT camp site. The drive out was beautiful and Tim was very kind and accommodating. It was me and my family of four in a tent and when we arrived it started snowing (unexpectedly). Tim offered us the small cabin but we decided to hunker down and bundle up in the snow. It ended up being it's own unique and fun experience.
