Daisy Glamping Tent
Booked 1 time
Canvas tent · Sleeps 4
The Daisy Glamping Tent provides TWO XL DOUBLE beds, a coffee station, patio, outdoor shower and WiFi located in the beautiful oasis of Zenzen Gardens.
Gorgeous view, plenty of space, very kind host. Parked in the field with our campervan. Read the rules and amenities offered to ensure it meets your needs as it did us. We will.be back.
Loved the location of zen zen gardens!! The host Cindie is kind and helpful. There was a rather large monsoon hitting us when we arrived Friday evening. Fortunately zen zen gardens has a lovely cottage that was available. Cindie was flexible with us to get a safe dry place to stay for our first night. The second night we did camp on a nice flat surface by the pond. Lovely time. Would go back again anytime.
Candie's property was beautiful and serene. Nice to relax on the veranda in the morning. We did the wine tasting and charcuterie board which was fun and delicious close proximity to other wineries. Dog friendly.
The first portion of our 3 night stay in the violet cottage was absolutely magical, to the point we considered coming back later in summer (and even dreamed of having our wedding here and booking a venue consult).
However, the vibe changed for us when many other groups visiting the property (either for over night stays or wine tastings) had uncontrolled reactive dogs who were off leash with zero recall at hours where dogs were told to be on leash. My dog (who is a task trained medical alert service animal) was charged by one of these off leash reactive dogs while returning from a day trip at 3:30pm during leashed hours, and when asked to recall their dog the owner was nowhere to be found. We had returned early that day to go on the veranda to enjoy wine, however given the circumstance, we didnt feel safe so my partner went to purchase wine for us to enjoy in the cottage instead, and 2 mins after opening the $40 bottle that SAME dog came INTO the cottage to try and get at my dog who was peacefully settled inside on his place mat while we enjoyed the breeze with the door ajar since we werent feeling safe to sit even outside on the cottage patio given what just happened
But the reason this went from private host feedback to a public review is to warn others who might have either a service animal like myself or a pet that doesn’t tolerate that kind of behavior as eloquently as my dog did…because come to find out that brindle dog in question is also a resident of the property…
ZenZen Gardens was an awesome weekend getaway. The views were awesome from both our parking area and her tasting veranda. The wines were delightful and stories very entertaining. This was the perfect location to unwind. We’ll definitely return.
Cindie was very helpful even though it was very early season for her to have a camper. The gardens were still nice even though nothing was currently in bloom. I will definitely go back during the height of the season!
I enjoyed the peace and quiet with the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice beautiful place to camp for the night or for a few days.
We loved staying Cindie's place! The tent was awesome, plenty of room for us and our things, bed was very comfortable. Loved having coffee in the tent in the morning. The property was serene with tons of beautiful gardens and a wrap around veranda that we sat on all afternoon and drank wine as the sun set. We only stayed one night but it was a truly amazing experience. Cindie is top notch host and her wine tasting of a neighboring producer was so fun and inviting. Thank you for being such a gracious host and for sharing your property. We would love to go back!
I really enjoyed this hidden gem in the mountains. It definitely lived up to its name of “zen”. I meditated here in the morning and it was surreal. I felt safe, comfortable, and overall just a lovely experience!
I parked here for one night in a Sprinter. HipCamp is an open gravel parking lot used for their winery, so you basically just park wherever you want (right side is flatter). Two portajohns provided near the parking lot. Can buy wine there too. Never met the host, though I wish I had (be good to learn the history of the place).
Violet Cottage was super cozy and comfortable, and the land was beautiful. It was also amazing to have wine on the veranda. Would definitely stay again!
This was a wonderful place to stay for the evening in the North Fork Valley. Perfectly situated between Paonia and Hotchkiss. It's quiet, pretty, and Cindie was a wonderful host. Directions were clear, and the views were stunning. If the timing works out to make it for the end of the daily wine tasting, it is a very nice place to wind down at the end of the day!
I love ZenZen for the scenery and the wine. Tent camped here for one night to split up a trip back to Boulder. The tent area is by a nice big tree and pond and has a communal fire ring. The grass is soft, flat, and comfortable. Very quiet in the AM and the stars were great at night. There’s also glamping options if you’d prefer something more unique. Would come back again and will
The host was so sweet and had wine tasting ready for our arrival! The property was so beautiful and the glamping tents were so well kept! It was camping luxury! There are cute little dogs and cats that roam the property too!
Booked properly for two nights of camping. Check in was very simple host gave me directions in where tents can be setup. Was able to setup camp with a beautiful view of the pond and mountains. Property was beautiful. Showers were clean and close by. All the campers were very friendly. Host gave great recommendations for food and late night drinks. Enjoyed wine on the patio. Would definitely book this Property again.
The vineyard was amazing with great views and great wines. Staff was friendly. We were supposed to car camp in the parking lot, but ended up not, but we would return for more good wine and views.
Grounds are beautifully crafted for camping and glamping. We stayed in the Cosmos tent for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend and luxuriated. The shower is very nice and it's heated water. The night sky is starry. There are nearby restaurants (best food is at Root and Vine), orchards, wineries, and galleries in town. You have to be careful if you bring a dog with anxiety because there will be a couple dogs roaming the property. During hot summer days just plan to be out of the tent from 1:30-430pm because it gets too hot. We would definitely stay again! Outstanding value!
We loved staying at ZenZen Gardens! The hostess Cindie was warm and welcome. The grounds were beautiful and the Violet Cottage was clean and comfortable. Wine tastings on-site on a lovely patio. We’ll definitely be back.
Paonia is beautiful. The people are happy! Wine tasting into a blues concert at Cindie's place made our stay at Zenzen magical. Rain was unpredictable but it produced a double rainbow over the mountain.
