We enjoyed our get-away to About Tyme Hip camp. Pam was very accommodating with water and electric also the fire ring & wood. We watched the sunset each evening on the quiet farm.
We recommend the site to Hip Campers craving an unique place to relax.
We are looking forwarding to our next trip to About Tyme.

Pamela has an absolutely beautiful farm which has wonderful accommodations. Pamela is a wonderful person to work with and very welcoming. She made us feel like it was our home.
We loved her property. It was very accessible to the surrounding areas.

Pam was an excellent host. The free firewood was a real bonus! This site is surrounded by farmland and since all the fields had been harvested, there was a lot of open area to explore. We flew our kite with no worries of getting it caught in a tree. The dogs had a great time running around.

We loved our stay at Pamela’s farm. The property is lovely and great for birdwatching and relaxing away from the city. Pamela was very welcoming and made sure we had all our needs met. Would definitely visit again!

We loved camping at Pamela‘s farm! It was such a beautiful place and a wonderful getaway. We were the only ones there and our dog could roam free with us! Pam provided water and electricity. She offered us firewood as well! We found all of the directions to be extremely helpful and our stay was above what we expected! Hope to return again someday soon!

We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin! Everything was clean and comfortable, and Pam is a wonderful hostess. The farm itself is beautiful and we had a great time hiking, cooking over an open fire (thanks for the wood Pam!) and watching the fireflies in the evening. This is a great spot to slow down and unwind.

We stayed in the cabin and it was so cozy! Pam did a great job setting everything up for us and explaining where everything was. We happened to visit during a cold, we weekend, so it was wonderful to come back to a warm, dry space where we could enjoy our down time. It was quiet, relaxing, out of the way, and really beautiful. Pam was a fabulous host!

We had a wonderful night at Pamela’s cabin. The property is exactly as described. Pamela provided excellent communication. All was perfect and we would stay again!

The only thing more beautiful than the property was the host, Pam. Everything was prepped and ready, and even though I was not the greatest communicator while on the road, Pam was very patient and accommodating. Great location for visiting Gettysburg and sampling tons of fresh produce from area farm. I’ll definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

About Tyme Farm
We had a wonderful time camping on Pam’s farm it is just lovely and so peaceful, close enough to town to enjoy the Saturday Farmer’s Market and a fantastic bakery/coffee shop, but far enough out to really stargaze at night. It is very close to Gettysburg and the National Park site if you are out exploring Civil War history. Pam is a thoughtful and generous host, very easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed meeting her and our time at the About Thyme Farm!

About Tyme Farm
Pamela is the very soul of hospitality and generosity. My son and I were supposed to camp out on her land but the smoke from the Canadian forest fires was blanketing the region’s atmosphere upon our arrival. Pamela simply invited us indoors to her cabin space to enjoy unpolluted air. Her cabin was nothing but comfort. The campsite space outside is terrific. Quiet and idyllic. I will definitely be staying with Pamela the next time I am down in the Gettysburg region if she’ll have us. She is a kind person and a Hipcamp site that should be supported.

We had an excellent time! The farm and cabin space were incredibly well maintained and welcoming and Pamela was very welcoming and accommodating. The fields also offered incredible sights of sunsets and fireflies in the evening. I would absolutely stay here again!

Pamela was a great host. She was flexible with me and my situation needing to come sooner due to a death in the family. She was empathetic towards me. Pam kept communicating throughout the stay to ensure I had everything I needed. I have a 5th wheel which was suffice on the land as Pam had connections for fresh water, electrical and access to sewer. She offered an air conditioned cabin during heat and wildfire affected the air quality. Tyme farm is a beautiful farm, in a historical area close to Westminster and I highly recommend it to travelers..

This is a perfect little spot to enjoy some county quiet. Pamela, the host, was accommodating and flexible. She was kind and you could tell she took pride in her land . The cabin was rustic, and quaint with plenty of sleeping spots and the benefits of power, ac and heat. The yard in front of the cabin was perfect for tent camping as well. Our large group took advantage of both features. The port-a-poty was clean, and not a far walk from the site. If you are expecting nothing but nature sounds, you will need to be mindful there is a road near by that is busy enough, but still allows time of quiet, frogs and birds. The neighbors (far from the property) played music loudly, but that was at no fault of the host, and was just bad manners from the neighbors, but I doubt that is a common occurrence.
10/10 will be coming back in the fall to take advantage of the quiet spot again with a perk of Baugers farm near by.

Pamela has an absolutely gorgeous farm property that my entire family loved! It was very peaceful and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Pamela was an AMAZING host and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We will be back next year!
