Wow! What an amazing site! Do NOT pass this one up! Beautiful getaway in the backwoods woods of Montana. The outdoor kitchen and hot tub made the experience special. We loved the beautiful water front tent porch and the view was spectacular! The owners were the best! 5 Star hospitality, personality and care. You won’t be disappointed.

As an avid tent camper, i dont require much. Give me a camping pad & coffee and Im set. The Mile High Mountain Homestead provides more thanone could imagine. Every single detail from the lovely glamping tent decor (so super snuggly!) to the adorable hottub, this place exceeds any expectation. If you want a true Montata homestead experience, please go! You will regret it if you don't. This truly is the Montana Mountain experience, please do your research. Its bear country at its finest. Be respectful and please please keep this place sacred!

The mountain road to the campsite is rough but SO WORTH IT! All aspects of the site were amazing. We were going to drive and hike but decided to stay at the site for the day because it was so peaceful. Becky and Dave were so easy to talk to and very hospitable. There is hiking around the property as well. I definitely recommend this site to anyone willing to go farther out in the wilderness! We will be back 💛

The tent was very cozy with lots of nice blankets and rugs. It was tucked away on their beautiful land which had an amazing homestead garden and woods all around. They were so accommodating and friendly and even made us a wood fire heated hot tub experience. The place was clean and serene!

Becky and Dave were wonderful hosts. They’ve created a restful homestead with beautiful gardens, ponds and buildings which are all built by Dave. The glamping tent had everything needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. The handmade pizzas were very good and tasted better than most of the restaurant pizzas we’ve had. It was wonderful talking to Dave and Becky about they’re previous lives and how they’ve created this slice of paradise. Thank you both! (For those who might shy away from a compost toilet….no need to here. There are no odors or flies and it’s maintained daily.

This was an epic place to stay. The road was difficult but the whole experience was absolutely worth it! The beauty in the stay was incredible. The hospitality from the hosts was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They are very kind and oh so cheerful. The pizza and cheese are so worth it. This was a birthday celebration for my boyfriend and we both agreed that We will be staying again🧡

Becky and Dave's homestead is simply amazing. The setup they have built by hand is one of the most comfortable outdoor camping type adventures we've been on. Add to that they're amazing hospitality, knowledge they share about farming, plant life, homesteading, and some great storytelling. Is it a little bit of a drive on an actually very fun, scenic, amazing valley views Montana mountain/farm road?? Definitely..... but it is well worth it and I would drive twice as far for that experience again. As a side treat, if you're into woodworking and carpentry like me, you'll definitely want to talk to Dave and look over his amazing craftsmanship on the property. The guy can create and build!!!!

Wow! This homestead is spectacular. Tucked in a beautiful green patch of Montana wilderness. Everything about my stay was truly amazing. If you’re looking for a peaceful place off the grid this is what you need. Our hosts were the most kind and gentle souls, incredibly generous and accommodating. I look forward to returning soon. Their animals are beautiful and soo too is the outdoor kitchen and hottub.

Where do I start?!
The road in, rough but manageable!! Follow Becky's directions and you'll get there. Just when I crossed a creek and thought I was lost, I continued bit further and BAM!! The cutest little oasis! I was greeted by the lovely couple who pointed me to a spot and showed Me around. They were so sweet with my doggos! Doggos and I took several walks around the property and it was so beautiful and quiet.
Becky and Dave were amazing hosts! The perfect amount of socializing I needed after being on a solo road trip for so long. They had a fire going, I used the hottub and had a pizza that first night! So worth it:)
I stayed in the yurt and it was so cozy! Bed was comfy and it was lovely to have something bigger than my car to be in.
I loved it so much I actually stayed another day!!! Enjoyed the hottub again and the wonderful outdoor shower!!!!
Everything was so wonderful there. Their outdoor kitchen is absolutely beautiful, handbuilt by Dave himself!
They are both so crafty and amazing people to talk to.
She has goat milk products for sale and I bought a bunch of chapstick cause it's amazing!!!
Thank you both for such a delightful stay. I WILL be back!!

Rebecca and David’s land is one of the best kept secrets in Montana. We have stayed at 62 different Airbnb/ hipcamps and their place is our absolute favorite. The tent is so comfortable and inviting and the landscape breathtaking. We will definitely be back.
Their hospitality was also second to none. David and Rebecca are amazing people. We are so blessed to get to know them.

Such a great stay! The temperature outside dropped in the evening, but inside the tent was perfectly cozy. The hosts showed us around, started the wood fire hot tub, started the camp fire, then left us to enjoy our wonderful experience. For dinner, we had one of the "Best Pizza on the Mountains" which did not disappoint. I'd advise anyone staying to pay the extra to give it a try! After enjoying the hot tub, we tried out the showers and LOVED the hot water and homemade shampoo. The next morning before we left, we were blessed with what we'll propose as the "Best Blueberry Muffins" from Rebecca which we will forever reminisce. The hosts were very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.
Google maps did try to lead us down Mock Rd; however, that gate is closed (and doesn't appear to actual reach all the way), so you'll want to be sure to turn onto Mud Creek Rd and drive for about 30-45 minutes (dirt road so your speeds might vary but that was our experience in minor mud and a Subaru Outback Wilderness). The drive may seem long, but the peace, quiet, and luxury of this experience will make it so worth it!

Stop what you're doing and book this Hipcamp ASAP! Becky and Dave hosted my boyfriend, myself, and 3 pups. They made all my Glamping dreams come true. Up in a mountain about 45 min from the city w/a bumpy ride so be prepared - if your staying a while take food and snacks water etc (you are camping). Although Becky spoiled us since we had been traveling so long we didn't think about food. She made us the most delicious pizza (literally the best I've ever had) FROM SCRATCH!! I'm still dreaming about it. She had homemade scones (again, amazing mouthwatering with berries picked from her garden !) and made us cowboy coffee. They have a homestead so she grows most of what they consume. We had homemade biscuits and farm eggs in the morning, literally the sweetest people ever. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience ! The property is a dream come true. Dave fixed us up a fire and got the woodfire hot tube ready for us as well and we soaked under the stars. I'll leave some surprises for y'all to experience yourself. So peaceful out in the yurt and bed was perfectly comfy/ it got cold but she had enough blankets to keep us warm and cozy. I can't wait to go back!
Just an fyi, Pizza is a fee , and she also had some soap and lip balm and I had to buy them ALL haha! They're that good!

I almost don't want to tell you how amazing, comfortable, and spectacular this place really is. We were in heaven the whole time we were there. If the word gets out, this place will be hard to book! The hosts are delightful, the property is meticulously and artfully laid out, and the accommodations are super inviting, and even the pizza is deserving of an award. Hands down, this is the coolest Hipcamp I've found yet. We're already talking about booking our next dates!

The forest glamping tent
Wow! This place is so amazing - so beautiful, magical, so much intention and creativity put into this whole homestead and glamping site. Totally worth the 7.5 mile drive down a really rough bumpy rocky road. Make sure you double check the directions. Google did not have a clue about how to get there, even with the coordinates. And there’s no cell signal once you leave the highway.
I think that is the coziest bed I’ve ever slept in. And the hosts are soooo kind and generous. I definitely recommend staying here, and hope I can return one day.
