Nice quiet site to enjoy the outdoor. Site was large and clean. You can easily park up and set up camp. Good shading from the sun if you want and also a good spots to be in direct sun light.

Jeffrey was a great host that was very helpful and friendly. Him and his crew will help you out with anything you need, anytime. Great location and accessible. My group had a fun time and would highly recommend!

Fire pit and chairs were nice to use. Asked about firewood and didn’t get a response from the host so we brought our own. No water or picnic table was available as the listing says. Sites are close to a house and a busy road so it felt like we were camping in someone’s yard (which we were). Thorny bushes surrounding the campsite made it difficult to explore and lots of trash littered the site.

Wonderful! It was a nice spot. Our dog enjoyed getting so many sniffs in. Mel was great about helping out when arriving. The camping spots are to the left and right once you pull into the driveway!

Jeffrey was very accommodating to my group. When we arrived first, he showed us the site but he offered extra space for us and turned out beautifully. He even made a fire for us. We really appreciated it.

My family had a great long weekend camping here. There was a road close by so hearing cars was possible. However by 9-10pm it was very quiet. The camp sites are secluded and cozy.

It was a beautiful space and easy to find. Mel, the caretaker, is the best and was so helpful even though we don’t usually need much :)
Close to good hikes and grocery, etc but still felt very rural and camp-y!

Pretty good spot. Realize you’re kinda close to some roads, so expect that. Hosts were great, some signage would be nice!

I love this camping site, I love the fact that Jeffrey was able to accommodate us on the last minute. It was around 10 PM and he was able accept our booking. He also provided wood for our campfire. The site was beautiful!! ❤️

Van camping with two dogs went well

Good communication for recommendations and getting around. Site is private, level and well kept with a fireplace and wood available on site. Our two dogs loved being off leash and it was easy to keep them within our private space. Some cars will pass by once in a while but mostly quiet with sounds of nature. 15 minutes away from many good hikes. It was Labor Day weekend and we could barely hear our only neighbors one site over. We were van camping and didn't explore much of Jeffrey's property since we used it as a base to sleep and bounce around from but apparently there's a pond good for fishing and some hikes to do right there. He was very accommodating with check-in and check-out times too.

Overall we had an okay experience. We reserved for two nights, but left after one.
Several reasons. First, there is no toilet or shower, not even porta potty. We did bring our own portable toilet, and I know one can bring camping portable shower as well. But site description did not specify that. If you truly enjoy primitive camping, or if it is in a cooler season so that you don't mind not showering every day, the this site could work for you. Second reason is the location. Between sites there are enough privacy and spaces. However, the site we had (no. 3) is quite close to the main road. Though there was not much noise because the property is located in a small town.
The site description says there are on site hiking and fishing, but honestly, there is not much one can do on site. The fire wood costs $30, much more expensive than if you buy on nearby stores or in State Park. There are alos lots of poison ivy near the trail, around the site.
Finally, there is no garbage dump on the property. We were told to carry out. I understand and support the carry-out policy, but at least there should be a garbage can for one to dump their garbage, especially given there is no bathroom provided. No one should carry their own waste around.

This site was nice. It definitely was secluded/offered privacy but was fairly close to the road (so you could hear lots of cars) and it felt more like you were in the thicket of a yard than truly in the woods. That said, there seem to be tons of berry bushes which would enhance the experience late summer! Also the hosts were friendly and brought us wood and a nice fire pit to use. The site is close to a cute farm market and ice cream shop and of course plenty of good hiking. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, feels secluded but not far from convenient store if you forget something, close to some walking trails, creek and gun range. A picnic table would have been a plus but potable water nearby and fire ring makes up for. Caretaker Mel was super helpful to provide us with firewood and blow horn in rare cases of bears in the area.

Jeff and Mel were super friendly guys who made this campsite feel like home! The campsite is remote in the woods so you’ll never see the house or people but you can hear the road nearby. The amnesties of the campsite makes it worth it. It was woodsy and full of creatures (enough to make you explore around) and Mel would drive up the firewood to your fire pit. So the best of both world!

What an amazing spot! Each site is private and the sounds of nature are incredible. The fireflies were so neat. Super cool history of the property too! Just ask Mel when you get there. Mel was an awesome host who really cares about the property and he's a wicked nice and helpful guy... He made our short stopover a memorable experience. I highly recommend! One of the best hipcamps I've been to thanks to Mel and the work he does to maintain the sites without sacrificing the natural beauty we look for when camping.

This is a great spot!! Super quiet, lots of space to explore. The caretaker, Mel, was such a sweet and kind person. Only wanted to make sure we were well taken care of! I would certainly recommend this to a friend.
