Highly recommend! Arrived way later than anticipated (11:30pm) I had a hard time finding the site since it was so dark. Within 10 minutes after messaging her through Hipcamp, Alenna had called me and met me at the bottom of her driveway and drove me up to my site, despite it being so late.
She was also kind enough to let me stay in the other site that I was able to drive into, instead of having to lug all my things up in the dark to this site that I booked. She also gave me directions up the hill to black mountain. BEAUTIFUL scenery- very private.
I recommend contacting her 10 mins before arrival, in case you have a hard time finding it since there is no service whatsoever.

It felt like a secret hiding spot off the road. Surrounded by trees with the sound of the creek. Even the firepit was a nice touch. There was some wood under a tarp. The host did bring more wood the next day.
It did rain the whole time we were there. We made the best of it. Our dog had fun grabbing all the branches she could find. I think our tent was way to big for the area. It was nice not to have to walk or hike all our gear to and from the parking area. We were able to drive up and set up.
The sound of the rain hitting the tent and the creek made a nice asmr moment or like those white noise machines. Very peaceful and safe. I'm sure this spot would be nicer when it's not raining for 7 days and 7 nights. I would have loved going closer to the creek but the rain didn't make the ground feel safe at all.
I already told a friend who also loves going camping. Her and her husband would enjoy the other campsite more which is across the road. She would enjoy the view of the creek.

Absolutely lovely views, the trails were amazing. The keystone bridge gave for amazing backgrounds in our photos. The stonefire pit was spacious and well kept, big enough to make several different styles of fires for any of your cooking needs. The spot was near the road so you can hear any of the farm tractors going by, but that was just ones or twice. Same with a few times it seemed planes flying overhead. The wife and I made the joke about their searching for us but we're too well hidden. Then there's the creek, what can you say It is beautiful and pristine we found a brook that flowed into the creek. All in all taking in the sights of nature at this location is absolutely spectacular. Definitely would recommend, plan on making this a recurring spot to camp at from time to time. To top it off the host met up with us and made sure we were good with the location, there was firewood at the site provided for us to use and fresh dry firewood was brought to us the next morning to replenish what we used. Absolutely the best host interaction we've had to date.

We really enjoyed what this land offered. At first it looks like an average tent site but when you continue the path you'll find an awesome bridge built from stone. From the bridge you'll find a sweet watering hole to swim and enjoy. The host were also super clutch in having firewood on site too. We really enjoyed it.

This hipcamp is an amazing spot- the creek it sits on is so peaceful and full of life. The fire ring is great, and you can into the spot pull right off the road.
Would recommend! The owners were very communicative, and offered to see if we needed anything. Very great hosts.

I recently stayed at a secluded campsite near Whitehall, NY, and it was an incredible experience. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, this campsite offers a perfect retreat into nature. The site is pristine and well-maintained, with ample space for setting up camp and enjoying the surrounding forest.
The tranquility of the area is unmatched—imagine falling asleep to the sounds of rustling leaves and a running stream. The nearby trails offer fantastic hiking opportunities with scenic views and an abundance of wildlife. Despite its seclusion, the campsite is surprisingly accessible and well-marked, making it easy to find even for first-time visitors.
The only sounds you'll hear are the natural ones, and the stargazing is superb due to minimal light pollution. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with plenty of natural beauty, this campsite is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a true outdoor retreat.

Really nice spot and great host. It was our first time car camping and we wanted a private spot to try it out - this was perfect. Directions were spot on, it was easy to find and back our Subaru into the camping spot. The road nearby has almost no traffic, so it was super quiet. We didn’t have cell
phone service at the site, had to drive a couple minutes back to a main road for service (but we didn’t mind!) The brook and old bridge are so beautiful! It was a steep climb down to the brook but worth it. Lots of firewood provided, and a handy garbage can at the end of the driveway. Really kind host. Definitely recommend.

I loved staying at the Pike Brook site. The host and family were so nice. I stayed in my 23 ft travel trailer and enjoyed falling to sleep to the babbling Brook. It’s a private site stocked with firewood. The walk to the brook is steep at the end but manageable. It’s a short drive to Huelttes landing beach on lake George (beautiful beach and never super busy). Also down the road is the black mountain trail parking. The hike to the mountain is worth the amazing view of Lake George and the adk mountains. I highly recommend this hip camp site.

Really nice site! Very private, and gorgeous. Went with my sons for Fathers Day weekend, there’s almost no traffic on the nearby road. The old stone bridge is overgrown with trees and moss and is very pretty. My sons and I enjoyed tossing rocks into the brook right by the site and splashing each other, and it was really nice to completely disconnect and enjoy each other.
