Keith is a great host. The Forest surrounding the camp is beautiful. Baileys trail system is well kept.

Had a great one night stay while passing thru. Easy to find and Keith the owner was great! The bath house is close by and clean. Lots to do in the area and hope to make it back some day!
The only downside is this site is right off the road but there is very little traffic.

The owner was great! Greeted us and answered all our questions. The site is along a dry creek. The bathrooms were about 100 yards away. Nice and clean. Beautiful area and perfect basecamp for mountain biking and hiking.

Awesome little basecamp for baileys trail system! The campsites are insta-fabulous with string lights, adirondack chairs, fire-pits, and picnic tables.
The bathroom and shower are brand new and very nice! Only a 30 foot walk from your tent.

This was a perfect spot to explore the Bailey's trail system. We also had Bailey's Basecamp rented, which is right next door.

I was on a short getaway from home and needed to find somewhere to pitch my tent for the night. The site was clean and peaceful!! I could hear other campers off in the distance, but I had my privacy. I felt like queen of the mountain. Up there all by myself.

What a wonderful experience! Host Keith was incredibly accommodating with my last minute site change- I asked to move to the more secluded site on the ridge instead of the loggers retreat near the road. He was so very patient with shuttling our luggage to the site, delivering wood, and seemed genuinely happy for us to be there. A beautiful and clean shower and bathroom, with nice hot water. The ridge site was quiet, clean and secluded. 10/10 would recommend, and I look forward to booking this site again!

We were disappointed in the quality of the site. It was located immediately adjacent to the road and was more similar to a logging drop off location with large logs and deep wheel marks throughout the location. The pictures provided on the website did not represent the location fairly. As we were tent camping, these conditions made it difficult to find a flat location for our small tent and being next to the road, there was little privacy and road noise.
Additionally, the advertised toilet facilities were unusable due to no water.
The person meant to greet us and show us to our campsite was not present throughout our 3 day stay. Only the friendly neighbor was there to point out our campsite.

Beautiful area of Wayne national Forest. We stayed on the new RV site. It's near the road, but very little traffic comes through there. The host was great and made the stay really nice. Unfortunately, we stayed during the drought and the county banned campfires, but I can't blame the owner for that. My only suggestion is that they clean up the building materials near the edge of the site and plant some bushes to create more privacy.

Very quiet and scenic, fantastic host and tent camp spot! Keith was incredibly kind, friendly, and communicative. He drove us to the site by ATV up a pretty steep path, so that was very helpful since we had a cooler and such. The bathroom is down the hill as well, so keep in mind if you're coming with children or folks not into a hike, but it's a nice bonus and was clean and well-maintained. Real luxury having a flush toilet AND a secluded campsite! There is one other tent site that was a semi-visible through the early-fall trees, but no one was there the night we camped so I can't attest to how noise would travel. Perfect spot to disconnect and be one with nature, but if you need it, cell service worked well. Great options for many hiking/biking trails of various levels nearby, the host had a laminated map we could review that made it easy to find the trails. After check-out we drove to a super close-by trailhead and continued hiking, so that was convenient. Very enjoyable experience, so serene, so many stars visible at night! We will definitely be booking here again in the future!!

Benton’s on the Baileys’ is a lovely spot. Be aware that it is a steep hike from the parking up to the site, staff was available to shuttle up and down.

Loggers Creekside Retreat
We stayed in the RV site and it was exactly as described. It has plenty of room, and although it was all dirt, had a couple reasonably level spots for our travel trailer.
The site was very close to several mountain bike trails within the Bailey's system. It was right on a road, but the road is gravel and had less traffic on it than most roads in campgrounds.
Keith was unbelievably easy to work with. He was very responsive, extremely friendly and answered a lot of questions for us prior to booking. This was our first hipcamp experience but we have probably stayed in over 30 Airbnbs, and Keith was by far one of the best hosts we've ever encountered.
The shower house was decent and in line with what would be expected for a campsite like this. The only problem was water pressure when showering would drop pretty low. Our group discovered that turning the water off for a bit of time to let pressure "build up" before turning it back on worked well. Otherwise, the water would slow to a trickle and continue to only trickle. Not really a "complaint" just something to be aware of.
Keith is an exceptional host and for the price and convenience to mountain bike trails I don't think this place could be beat. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved camping here, it is a beautiful big campsite, very private, atop a big hill. Perfect for tents or hammocks. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Keith is the nicest host, so helpful, taking all of our stuff up (and down) to and from the site. Thank you again for having us!

Campsite was secluded & quiet. Keith was super helpful getting our gear shuttled to and from the site. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone headed down to the Wayne National Forest to ride the Baileys trail system as the trails are super close!

Nice campsite, we’ll definitely stay here again. Toilets with running water and showers with 100+\- feet. Campsite is near road, if you have heavy heat this is a plus. Camp near your car. Biggest draw is the vicinity of mountain bike trails.

This was a wonderful tent camping experience. The site was large enough for our jeep, tent, canopy, and little pop up tent. The fire ring and table were in excellent condition. The creek was dry due to the low river but it was awesome and easy to explore down around. Saw a few foxes but no raccoons or possums disturbed our site at all. No noisy neighbors and the few sites are very well spaced out and secluded. He has water on demand and there was wifi but not at our site(didn't bother us though). Keith was extremely friendly and welcoming and his fire wood prices are great and he even delivers it to you. Will definitely be staying here again. The cabins look awesome we're probably checking them out next.

Fantastic, accommodating host! Secluded site was wonderful. Bath house was clean. Close to Hocking Hills attractions. Next time, we'll bring our mountain bikes and hit the trails close by.

We had a fantastic camping experience thanks to Keith, our incredibly friendly and helpful host. Upon arrival, Keith promptly assisted us in transporting our camping supplies up the hill, and he was just as helpful when it was time for us to leave. The campsite itself was wonderfully secluded, offering a perfect escape into nature. The bathrooms were clean and even stocked with fresh towels, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a great place to stay while enjoying a few days of mountain biking on the Baileys trails, this campsite is an excellent choice. It was also a quick drive into Athens if you are looking to eat a few meals out. My kids both loved Keiths fluffy dog Whitman. Highly recommend!

This was one of the more unique HipCamps I've been in. Keith met us upon arrival and we loaded up his cart to take us up to camp. The site is a significant climb from the parking spot. His easygoing demeanor meant that when we asked to do multiple trips, he didn't mind at all! Our dog was able to be off-leash and loved running behind the cart as we made our trips back and forth from the car.
The bathrooms and showers here were insanely nice. Really clean and well maintained. It isn't far from the site, but it is a no joke hike to get up and down that hill.
We were the only campers up the hill, so I can't speak to what it would be like with campers in the other site. But we felt totally private and isolated. It was so cozy to be up and away from it all.
Adding eggs to our trip was a great bonus! Would definitely recommend! We were only there for one night and I wish we could have stayed longer.
