We had an incredible time camping there. The place was spotless, with a shower and everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even gave us a free bath towel (I can’t remember the name of the woman who did that). Definitely recommend it!

We had a great experience here! The staff was BEYOND friendly, the bathrooms were very nice, and the space was wonderful. We came to see Cuyahoga National Park, which was about 45 mins away. Despite the rain (which isn’t their fault haha), we had a great time!

I have quickly found this place to be my "central home" as I travel full-time across the northern US. The guests are nice, the atmosphere quiet and there are really no issues here unless I cause them accidentally. It's a bit off I-71 to get here but worth the drive. Oh... and guess how much weight the bridge supports on the single lane drive coming in here? It's more than 45,000 lbs. for sure.

It was a lovely campsite and the attendants were great and friendly and helpful the sites were clean as were the bathrooms. Could have stayed longer for sure.

Camp Hi-Yo was an amazing campground. At check-in they take you to your site and let us know if the activities going on that weekend. Our Site Tent #15 was nice and shaded with a picnic table and fire ring. Great view of the small fishing pond and near the shower house. The shower house consisted of individual bathrooms with actual showers and plenty of room. Cleanest/nicest showers I have seen!
The atmosphere with overnight and permanent air campers was so friendly but also private enough.
They had an Amish family come in on Saturday morning to sell baked goods and fresh veggies. So good!
We will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

This is a very well managed campground. The staff is very friendly and go the extra mile. I stayed in a tent site. It was impressive with both electricity and water on the site. The shower houses were individual bathrooms and very clean. Highly recommended!

Bathrooms were ample and clean. Owners were very nice people. The camp had everything you could need, camp store, activities, nice pool. We only camped one night and it was perfect for what we needed. As far as tent camping we wouldn’t stay more than one night for the sites were too close for our comfort for any extended camping, but like I said for our one night stop over it was very pleasant.

Judy was BEYOND accommodating! My niece and I stayed there for inkcarceration music festival! I’m so glad we picked camp HiYo for our stay! The cabin was extremely comfortable and quiet area! Thank you so much for a great stay!

We loved our stay at Camp HiYo! We didn’t have nearly enough time to check everything out, but our plot was right across from the fishing lake and the misty sunrise was beautiful there. We enjoyed the playground and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Although the tent plots are small and close together, the ones near ours were unoccupied. I hope we’ll return again and actually use the pool and rec room. Thanks for a great stay!

It was very small. Best for 2 people. We had 4 and we were on top of each other. If I come back it would be in the Deluxe Cabin. Single wide.

I have to admit I now shy away from KOAs or any property related because they have gone DOWNHILL. Overall the property was well maintained and the lots were decent size. I did not try the bathhouses out or the game area since I am self contained. I wanted to find about doing 30 days there Oct-Nov but could not get a response from the manager. My one caution was to not get stuck next to the "hot dog trailer" who consumed the area next to my patio..... and I requested to be moved.

Beautiful well kept camp ground. We had lake (pond) front site for a long weekend. The concrete patio, with quality patio chairs, glider, table and gas grill was a very nice touch. Full hook up included. The camp store was well stocked and the host was very friendly and helpful. There is a pool...a small pool for the amount of campers. The wife did enjoy it early mornings before the diaper crowd came... The bathrooms were very clean and up kept, always hot water, though we wondered about the height of the plumber who installed the showers... lol... Fish were caught and released from the pond as well. Highly recommend HiYo campgrounds for families.

Beautiful cabin with beautiful scenery, quiet Very nice workers and people around us cabin had everything we needed and then some. amazing pool and playground for the kids plus some amenities like a basketball court Not to mention little activities like fishing tournament, cornhole, and bingo! Any amazing weekend

Great campsite. Organized and clean. The pool was wonderful after a long day. There is avaliable ice and firewood to buy plus a little area for billiards and activities. It was pretty busy, so something to think about, but it didn't bother us at all.

This was a delightful experience. We were there for the total eclipse and the staff were so attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The only downside was that we had a pretty muddy campsite, but other spots weren't as muddy.

Deluxe Cabin - Pet Friendly
The cabin was clean and sturdy against the wind and rain, which was all the weather we had for the stay. Dog park and playground looked nice. Campground owner was friendly when we checked in.

Staff was super friendly and the campground was really nice. Not too big so it felt homey. Nice shower house with individual bathrooms with showers.
We were there for the eclipse so it was pretty full, but sites were roomy enough. I really liked that there were a few RV sites and tent sites adjacent to each other so we could camp next to friends with different accommodations.
We were camping at a time that was very wet. Gravel pads at each site for parking vehicles in the would have been helpful, but we made it work.

We booked an RV site for the eclipse and were not disappointed. The sites are extremely close together, and this bothered us at first. The close proximity ended up being a blessing, as our kids and the kids next door became close friends and were inseparable the rest of the trip.
The amenities were far nicer than I expected—clean, warm bathrooms and showers, a big pool, playground, softball diamond, basketball court, and Gaga pit. The camp store supplied us with some amenities when we ran low (though prices were marked up). The staff were so friendly! We had a fantastic time and will book again if we’re out that way in the future.
