Bear Cabin
Cool spot besides the fact they had 15 tents set up right beside my cabin when I came back at 10pm from the trails, my party of 4 stayed up drinking and talking until about 2am (beside the fireplace I paid for). I woke up at about 8am to the owner telling me I need to get my stuff and leave & That I wasn’t welcome back because the people in the tents told them we was being drunk & loud & said some cuss words out loud. I don’t advise anyone to stay here unless you rent every cabin and every tent spot ! Also after acting like a total dick head the owner continued to run his mouth about my party as if I wasent standing there. DONT STAY HERE !!!

The cabin was cute and clean and in good condition. The beds were comfy. Had paper plates and plastic utensils and paper towels already in the cabin. It was very private because it was raining so there wasn’t anybody outside or anything. More affordable than a lot of other cabins. There was a massive spider under one of the extra pillows. And there was a cute cat that showed up on our last night just wanting to hang out with us.

Moose Cabin
We really enjoyed staying here! Ed and Michelle were great hosts. They were very warm and helpful. The cabin (Moose Cabin) was really clean and the mattresses were comfortable. It was nice that bedding was provided. Our kids had a blast there and Ed and Michelle were so kind to them. The port-a-potty was very clean and the outdoor shower was also really nice. It's obvious that Ed and Michelle have worked hard to make this a great place to stay and value their guests.

Moose Cabin
Pop's Place, Moose Cabin, was fantastic as were the hosts, Ed and Michelle! The cabin was pristine, clean, warm, and very well maintained. Michelle and Ed are very responsive to messages and are continuously improving camp. Although it rained all four days, we still had a great time and appreciated the hosts recommendations for rainy day activities. The shower was an added bonus and was pleasantly warm. I hope to return in the future! Thanks Ed and Michelle!

We had a great time at the Bear Cabin. It was clean and comfortable…just the right amount of “creaturely comforts” (beds, heat, bathroom, coffee pot, fridge) for a pleasant stay while maintaining a similar feel to camping. The location was very quiet and peaceful. Just as advertised.

I found this destination on Hipcamp and not having used this app before, I was a little skeptical at first. Once I arrived, all my worries vanished. We stayed in the Moose Lodge cabin and had a wonderful experience. Our stay was cozy, warm, and very enjoyable. Ed and Michelle were very welcoming, sincere, and great to converse with. What made the trip memorable for my daughter was the stargazing. With no light pollution in the area, the view of the stars were bright and added to the overall experience. We will definitely stay here again.

We were able to find this place late at night just off the route we had been traveling. Did not really see the place or facilities because we left early in the morning to get back on the road, but our site was clean and easy to find.

I enjoyed my stay and the use of the outdoor shower. Owners are both very friendly and helpful. Location in the Wayne national forest is a plus. Roads are atv friendly. I would stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for getting a good night's rest on our way through Ohio. It was easy to find and priced just right. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. The outhouse was very nice and clean and the outdoor shower was an added touch.
While the cabin is private, it is not secluded. You do have campers next to you, and tents set up in the field al.ost directly in front of you. There are small woods behind the cabin but the front is open to a field and a some what busy road on Friday night.
These folks have put a lot of heart into their private camp and the small details do not go Unnoticed. You can tell they take a lot of pride into making everything comfortable while keeping the camp very affordable.
If y0ure looking for seclusion and forest setting, this place might not be for you- but if you're needing a private and comfortable spot to unwind, while not breaking the bank, pops place might just be perfect for you. There were a lot of off road riding trails near also. This would be perfect spot for someone wanting to explore off road trails.

We stayed overnight in the new Moose Cabin, we slept good, the bed was comfortable. We didn’t arrive till later and owner Ed met us at the cabin to be sure we got in and knew where everything was. The outdoor shower was very warm. The owners have great communication with guests. We would stay again!

I recently stayed at this cozy cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations! The location is beautiful, surrounded by peaceful nature, which made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved our night at the Moose Cabin. The beds were comfortable and it was great not having to deal with packing bedding or dealing with a tent. The field is nice and open and our kids had fun playing bean bag toss, swinging and making s'mores. It was great to get away from the light pollution of the city and see all of the stars. The portable bathroom was very clean and the lights made it easy to find your way in the dark.

This is a great place to stay! In my opinion, there is nothing negative to say. Michelle and Ed are great hosts. I enjoyed talking to them during my stay. We shared some pretty funny stories. The property is clean, beautiful and well maintained. The cabin was spotless, and welcoming upon arrival. A/C was on, fridge was cold, and cool water was ready to drink. Cabins are very nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Outside, the decor is just as nice. The yard is mowed and trimmed. I enjoyed the BBQ and picnic table at the side. I've never stayed anywhere that offered a nice gas grill, ready to use, at my site. There's lots of room to walk around, and just enjoy the peaceful setting and woods. One of my other favorites was the shower. Very cool! I won't spoil it for you---try it for yourself. Overall, I give Pop's Place 5 Stars. Very, VERY reasonably priced. Clean, quiet, relaxing cabins and setting. I will, without a doubt, stay here again and again. If you're considering staying here, do it. You'll enjoy the stay, and the hosts.

The property was off the main traveled road (even though the camping was close to a road), it was very quiet, well maintained and the owners were so sweet and excited to share their property with us. They have worked hard to create a safe and charming camping space, with room for tents, an RV space and a couple of cabins. The community fire out and playground area would be perfect for families. They even have a showerhouse with hot water! Definitely worth the trip out and plan to return in the future.

Had a great time staying here. The property is set up so nicely. The shower is simply amazing. We had been on the road for 7 days leading up to this, so it was a delight. Communication was great, and the directions were spot on. They brought us some firewood upon request, which was nice. The area around camp is beautiful. We did several hikes, and got our steps in. Thanks again for everything, if we’re back that way, we definitely will be staying here again.
