Deep in the Pocono Mountains, exactly 100 miles from Manhattan, Crystal Spring Camp is the perfect place for enjoying the great outdoors. Our property borders game land as well as The Blooming Grove Hunting Club so our forest is home to many incredible wildlife. With a freshwater spring, ample trails, nestled in the Delaware National Forest, we are in a beautiful wooded oasis. We have all kinds of fun outdoor games available for campers as well as an interactive art trail that you’re more than welcome to create on that all guests have access to.

Creekside Campsite #1 is nestled by Crystal Spring herself! Right at the entrance into the property along the beautiful flowing creek fed by the crystal spring that supplies us all of our delicious water. There is a fire pit, a place for your car to park and plenty of room for a variety of sized tents. There are no electrical hookups but there is a port-a-potty (while we are building out our latrine system) close by for going to the bathroom, guests have access to water from the main house if needed, please be sure to ask in advance. Firewood is in a crate by the facilities, and it costs $5 a bundle, first bundle is free. Guests have access to our Art Trail and can add their own art to the Art Trail if they feel inclined, this is an interactive trail to provide a space for artists to come and create in nature if they so please. There are other sites in the area so guests are asked to visit please be respectful of neighboring campers.

Crystal Spring Campsite #1

This was a great little stop on our trip through the area. We were a bit tired from traveling and arrived later than hoped. It was dark and after sunset, but the hosts were extremely understanding and helpful getting us setup. They had directed us in the dark to our spot, pointed out where everything was and even allowed us use of their restroom because their latrine wasn't operational yet. They also had a campfire already burning with a good bed of coals which made making dinner a snap! Much appreciated! Although the camp didn't feel finished yet, the warmth, hospitality and the depth of heart they sounded to have in their vision, I am confident this will be a great spot for campers, vanlifers, nature lovers and anyone who really appreciates the land beneath their feet.
