Super easy to find. Another family was also camping there, but no problem at all, and fun to meet them. Easy in and out, and nice spot to set up tent. Seating and fire ring were nice amenities. The composting toilet was fresh, very clean and just great...love that its "green" and eco-friendly. The welcoming dogs were super sweet and fun to play with. Our first HIPCAMP experience, and it was perfect!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It was close to Conagree and on a very pretty farm. It was super peaceful, and we would definitely recommend.

What a great spot! My boys loved swimming in the pond and the dogs were so friendly and nice. Had access to running water and the outhouse was clean and well maintained. Wood was available to use as well as a grill and fire pit. Plenty of fish in the pond to catch as you fish on the boat they have on site.Everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Definitely coming back

The sites were clean and well managed. The pups were awesome and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The area was quiet from outside noise and we were serenaded by the local frogs and toads.

This was a beautiful spot to camp! We loved hanging out by the pond in the Adirondack chairs. No one was camping at the other site when we were there but the sites were spread out and private so we would have still have our own space if there had been. In addition to a picnic table, fire pit, and chairs, there was also a hose and a place to charge phones or other devices, which was a nice touch. The hosts were very friendly and so were their dogs!

Easy to find campsite. Owners super nice. What a treat to have water and electricty. Peaceful spot overlooking the pond. Enjoyed the firepit with the provided wood...nice perk.
A bit of road noise, and you must be diligent to find a level spot for your rv, but overall, highly recommended.

This place was fantastic. Well kept, easy to find, and friendly hosts. This was the perfect place for a small group of us to call home base while we paddled in the nearby Congaree National Park. Their dogs were very friendly. The outhouse was well taken care of. Overall great option.

Dargan’s campsite was beautiful! Her and her husband were so sweet and caring! Dargan noticed a gushing sound in their water the one morning and was concerned that the hose they supplied to us was leaking and turns out it was. They fixed even before we knew something was wrong. The best part was the puppy visitors who were a delight! Would highly recommend this site to anyone!

Absolutely Amazing Hosts, they check in with you at the start and then leave you too it.
Incredible sunrises over the site, good facilities.
Women I was with kept insisting the compost toilet was fantastic.
Brilliant spot for relaxed fishing out the stocked pond.

We loved camping here! It was a beautiful spot!! As soon as we pulled in an osprey dove down to try to get a fish! 3 sets of mallards waddled over & spent some time there. We got to meet their friendly dogs also. It was very peaceful & beautiful! Dargan checked in with us when she got home from work, which was very nice. And both my husband & I were amazed at how clean and non-smelly the outhouse was! Best system ever!

This was our first time using Hipcamp and now I’m a little worried it ruined Hipcamp for us since this was such a wonderful experience. We camped here since it was only about 20 minutes from Congaree National Park and seemed nicer than the Congaree campground. Dargan, her husband, and their two dogs Piper and Pearl are very pleasant and their property is incredible. Piper’s Pond is a beautiful wildlife pond that they created that we had the pleasure to camp next to. We enjoyed seeing the fish and ducks feed from their feeders and watching the large variety of birds around the pond. Piper and Pearl would come keep us company, and they’re great, well-behaved dogs, and Dargan is very accommodating if one wouldn’t want them around. The campsite itself is excellent, with wonderful seating and firepits, and the outhouse is clean and has everything one needs. Overall, we were super happy we found this place, and would definitely return!

This was one of the best experiences I've had with camping. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights (ended up leaving early cause of some storms that were going to come through the morning of the last day). The location was quiet and very private. The owners respected our alone time. When we did need to reach out, response time was very prompt. I loved that they were willing to supply us with firewood. Fishing was really fun! There were plenty of fish to catch. I love the dogs and the ducks. Seeing all the wildlife was amazing. I can't wait to come back. Hearing about how the pond came to be was an interesting story. I felt very safe and welcomed here.

We love camping, but we had never camped at a Hipcamp until we stayed at Piper’s Pond. Everything was perfect! The host was kind, the pond was lovely, the composting toilet was very clean, and the fire pit and firewood made everything so convenient. Our kids loved paddling out in the pond, and one of them can’t stop talking about Pearl, one of the dogs. This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Congaree National Park.

My son and I loved this campsite. The location is laid out well. The description and images are accurate. The hosts maintain a clean site and both were friendly. Their two dogs were fun as well. My son played with them quite a bit. The fishing was excellent, even this early in the spring. My son and I both caught well sized bream from the pond. We enjoyed the solitude. For those who like to fish and avoid crowds, this site is excellent. We highly recommend the location and plan to come back soon.

A place to relax and get away. Fish, fire, food and s’mores. 2 spots for you to set up. Water hose, 15 amp cord if you need to set up light or charge anything. Awesome host.

Perfect spot! The pond is nice and relaxing, seeing the ducks is always a good time and all the doggos are adorable! 10/10 would recommend. Far more amenities that I expected

First time using Hipcamp. Very positive. Host was very responsive. She came by just after we setup to check on us. Amenities were very nice. We got to enjoy the pond and we caught a fish. This hipcamp was exactly what we were looking for. Place was as advertised. Thanks to the owners for opening up their property.
