**Please note the address is 9665 SR 50, Pelham, TN 37301** The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. You can see the sites from the main road, if you find yourself on a gravel road for more than 50ft, STOP and verify the address. Sites 1/2 are hard graveled, heavy duty tent stakes are recommended along with mats/padding. There is an electrical box at each end of the hard graveled parking and tent areas (Sites 1 and 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs, plus 110v. If the power is not working, please check the panel and turn on/reset the breakers, many of our guests turn them off when departing. If you are at Site #2 and the steps above do not work, please check/do the same at the Site #1 panel (it is the master power source). Water is NOT available on site. NOTE: Depending on the time of year (warmer months only) a water container with a limited amount of NON-POTABLE water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir(s) PRIOR to arriving. There is an outhouse for all guests, picnic tables and fire rings for Sites 1 and 2. The camping area is fairly close to SR-50 so please expect to hear some road noise, more so in the winter months. The entrance/driveway is on a small incline, if you are traveling in a light vehicle and a heavy camper, it's best to maintain a slow and steady speed to the camp site (for almost everyone, this is not an issue). If you are towing a camper, we recommend the total length of the vehicle and the trailer not exceeding 30ft, longer set ups can (and have been used) without issue. However, there is not a significant place to "turn around" at the sites and novice drivers (not used to backing out of tight spots with long rigs) may find this very challenging. There is a double gate that is usually closed, and latched so it stays closed, it is not "locked". The site is self-serve (not manned), Site #1 is to the left, Site #2 is to the right, and Site #3 is down the path past the outhouse at the bottom of the path. It is recommended that campers set up early for Site 3 (still daylight) to get an idea of the layout. Parking for Site #3 is by the shed at the main entrance and power is not available at the site.

**Please note the address is 9665 SR 50, Pelham, TN 37301** This is a tent site below the overlook, look for signs on the path going past the outhouse. This site is heavily shaded, has a natural fireplace, and is quite secluded. It is down a steep path from available parking, but well worth it!! Would recommend setting up camp prior to sunset. The site is approximately 15 minutes from South Cumberland State Park where you can hike, picnic, and enjoy beautiful waterfalls and picturesque sunsets. If you are catching a show at The Caverns, this site is only 10 minutes from the venue. Campers will be able to enjoy spending time adventuring on 8 acres while being minutes from restaurants, museums, zip lines, and more. This site is easily accessed from State Route 50 which is approximately 8 miles off I24 exit 127. Please expect to hear some road noise from vehicles traveling the mountain highway. Need firewood? Let us know and we can have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

What a perfect spot! Sure, there was a little road noise, but the beauty of the view and the amazing private spot made it insignificant! Right in the center of spectacular hiking, we will be back!

This stay was a quick in and out stay but, I have to say it was Absolutely breath taking! The view was Amazing with a full moon the night we stayed I can't stop talking about how amazing the view was at the top! Sonya was absolutely amazing and her instructions were perfect for us to be able to pull in for a quick overnight stay at her beautiful and breath talking little piece of Heaven!

Amazing view, beautiful remote spot. Uphill but not too far, we hauled a 20 ft camper with an old truck and I was relieved it wasn't too far up the mountain. If driving a larger RV you should be more experienced in backing up and if sleeping in a tent you should bring strong stakes and a sleeping pad. It is rocks unless you go to the lower tent site, which is dirt. This stay was wonderful and I highly recommend.

Great clean spot. View was magnificent. Incredibly detailed instructions from the owner. Close to the road but the noise didn't bother us at all. Easy access with a small hill. Site was level enough to strategically park my truck without using leveling blocks. Outhouse was clean and well appointed. FYI site 1 has a slightly better view of the valley. Me and my kid loved it, we'll be back.

Unfortunately, we had to sleep in the car because the site was not tent friendly despite the website description. The site was all hard gravel, and not stake friendly. With the winds, stakes were absolutely necessary. Very disappointed in our experience

Beautiful setting, incredible views, easy to access, grounds were incredibly clean! We rented out the entire site for increased privacy and it was perfect. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful views however this is right on the road which was not what I expected and I likely would not have booked it had I known it was so close to it. For the price I would expect nicer amenities and more than just an outhouse. Picnic table and fire ring were nice but there is no grate on fire pit, something to keep in mind if you’re wanting to cook. Positives: easy to find and great view.

Great for car camping!! The leaves were beautiful and site 1 was perfect for seeing them. Firewood was stacked and waiting on me. The hosts are amazing!!!! 10/10 recommend :)

This site is an excellent choice for a memorable getaway! The photos accurately depict what you can expect, and the tent site, though slightly down a hill, levels off to a spacious, flat area perfect for relaxing. Just a heads-up: it’s close to a fairly busy road until around 8 PM, so you might hear some truck noise as they navigate the mountain. The only downside was the firewood we ordered; it wasn’t the best quality and felt overpriced. However, it was delivered and neatly stacked before our arrival, which was a nice touch.

We had a lively evening at the overlook. The view was gorgeous, and it was so close to the Caverns! We arrived a bit after dark, so navigating the gate wasn't the easiest, but it really wasn't bad. The campsite is not very set back from the road, so there was a truck or two that rumbled by amd woke me up in the middle of the night, but it wasn't bad at all. Again, the view was perfect.
