My sister and I enjoyed a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend together. Our tent was nice, clean, and comfortable and the AC kept us cool from the summer heat. We spent most of our time in the pool and around the campfire. The breakfast that Veronica prepared for us was absolutely amazing and she even went out of her way to make everything gluten-free for me. My dog went with me and she had a great time as well. We did not want to leave and I know we will be back.

I stayed in the safari tent and it was spacious, comfortable, and fabulous. Veronica and Mark thought of everything to make their space a complete glamping experience, and they are great hosts.

Really nice relaxing spot amongst juniper trees. The tent was very spacious and kept us dry during the rainfall. I also loved the fire pit

We really appreciated being greeted at the gate so that we know that we made it to the right place. We loved camping in the tent as it was very spacious and king size bed was very comfortable. Even with the cold temperatures, they provided us with heavy blankets and had a small heater set up. The outdoor shower worked out great, and it was nice to have shower sandals available if needed. We also enjoyed the fire pit, and the home cooked meal that they offered to cook for us (at a price). We would definitely stay at this location again in the future.

This place was a wonderful private getaway. It feels like your own private space. The allowing the dogs to run was appreciated. All the amenities from camping with an AC to having an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, and shower where very nice. The folks that own the place are friendly as can be. The tent and bed are like a dream. I’ll be back again. I’m sure of that.

My stay this past weekend was nothing short of perfect! I travel with my shitzu, Eddie Spaghetti, and this was a great weekend getaway from Dallas for both of us. Eddie was thrilled to run free on the fenced property, smelling all of the things. I was elated to arrive on Friday after work with a fire already started by the awesome hosts! After a long, stressful work week, all I had to do was pack clothes and food and hit the road! Everything else was done for me! I enjoyed the hammock, swings, outdoor shower, and was especially grateful for the amenities of the Welcome cabin including a coffee maker, full sized fridge, and a propane heater that came in really handy when the temperature dropped to the low 30's overnight. I was plenty warm even without the heater, underneath the most amazingly comfortable duvet! I don't know what kind of magic bed they have, but I slept better than I have in months! I will definitely be back for some R&R very soon! If you are looking for a comfortable winter getaway, check this place out!

Such a lovely, picture perfect glamping site! Sweet little details of charm are found at every turn, and comfort rules here. My little boy and I enjoyed dipping in the pool, shooting our crossbow at the target they had on-site, and of course the evening fires. We put in our kayak at the nearby steele creek boat ramp, which is free. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, and have lots of amenities on site including a grill, firewood, extra pillows and blankets, AC in the tent, even a fridge and microwave in the welcome hut! Will definitely return, with my SO or my girlfriends, this is a perfect retreat for all.

Super easy communication with Veronica. The location is very beautiful and near to Whitney state park.
Veronica and Mark were accommodating and helpful. They helped us to get things settled down quickly and made sure we have everything to make our stay is easy and comfortable.
They are still building their property, I would love to visit it again.

I had such a wonderful stay at Vida Sonada in the Brazos tent. Veronica and Mark thought of every convenience and comfort you need while camping but with zero work. The property is remote but near food and supplies (about 15 mins away). I stayed by myself and felt safe yet had plenty of privacy. Can’t wait to stay again!

What a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable get away! It’s the little things that matter & Veronica sure has thought of everything! Glamping at its finest, sprinkled with very special “welcome home” hospitality! The tent was beautifully detailed with crisp, cool, white linens, fluffy pillow topped mattress & plump pillows - with a romantic & practical netting to deter the buggies away. Felt like a princess in a bed dressed for a royal! There was even AC & super strong fan to keep the tent cool and comfy! Veronica generously offered to use their personal vintage camper if it got too hot - which is an absolute gem! Loved the outdoor shower underneath a canopy of cedar trees & white twinkle lights! Even the sweet little cheetah print shower shoes & plush towels! Tree swing with decorated throw, lumbar pillows and dreamy ribbons was simply magical! Pool was refreshing and campfires underneath a full moon each night were my favorite! While the best part of mornings was getting a fresh, piping hot, mug of coffee from the Keurig in the welcome hut, & lingering in the garden area - waiting to see deer. Veronica was super conscious of keeping things ultra clean, disinfectant available, hand washing station and meeting me with a mask on during the craziness of a pandemic - which meant the world to me!
If you like wine do not miss the chance to pick up a bottle to go from Big Rock Winery down the road & chatting to both Rickey and Gail Wilkins!

This place was awesome! It has everything you could need for a camping trip without all of the hassle of having to bring it! We really enjoyed all the amenities and grounds, Veronica and her husband have thought of everything for this place, they even surprised us with a portable AC unit for our tent since temps were in the high 90s during our stay! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle free camping experience.

Really had a great time!! Valerie is a great host and thought of every possible need and beyond. The luxury tent is extraordinary. The view of the woods at night was wonderful!! The bed linens were chosen in excellent taste and comfort. Yes I will be planning another stay and highly recommend!!
