Jerrett is one of the best people I've ever met. If you are open to it he'd show you his whole property and is very knowledgeable of the plants, animals, and geography of the area. Very inspiring to see. And the campsites and scattered throughout the space so you can just set up where you think seems good. The nature and the air is breathtaking especially with a creek just down the hill. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. And the cedar hot tub just tops it off to make it the best hipcamp I've stayed at. Thank you Jerrett!!!

Went on a last minute one night stay and Jerrett was very flexible and accommodating for me and my kids. Wooded and private campsites with access to Curley Creek, a water spring, cedar hot tub, and hiking trails close by. My kids were saying it was the best campground they’ve been to recently and want to go back!

This is such a gem of a spot! You'd never know it was in Port Orchard. There are a handful of sites to choose from, each a little different. Jerrett greeted us when we arrived, told us about the property, and gave us a tour. He was super kind. The porta potty was very clean and the sites and trails were very well maintained. My husband caught a little rainbow trout on a fly rod in the creek and the dogs had a blast playing in the water. We would 100% stay here again!

Not a private site like was advertised. Dogs could not be off leash, so it is NOT off leash friendly - sites with other dogs are right next to you. Creek was far away from sites down a steep hill and swampy down there. Gnats were a huge problem at camp because of that. Photos feel modeled and fabricated to not show how close everything is. Host was extremely nice, but also lived in a shack 20 yards from our camp with large windows facing our camp. Port a potty is shared with host and other campers, so it is well used. Would not go back.

Jarrett was a kind, and gracious host. We had a wonderful time chatting while he showed us around the property. We were able to trek down the VERY steep hill (there are ropes to hold onto if needed) to a beautiful stream and float in the kayak. Our dog had a great time sniffing and exploring. We will definitely be returning.

This was such a fun site and we wish we’d had another day to enjoy it! Our host was super friendly and helpful with info about the area and the ferry schedules. It’s a quiet hidden site that was perfect for what we needed and we’d stay again if given the chance.

This place is a gem. It feels like you're nestled deep in the forest, even though you're only 10 minutes away from Port Orchard and the city's amenities. The space is quiet with lots of big, mature trees and well-maintained paths. We saw an eagle, ravens, jays, wrens, and heard chipmunks, frogs, and other wildlife. There are several sites, each a bit different but all well-equipped with a fire pit and grate. If you arrive for the weekend early, you'll have your choice of 4 sites.
Our host Jarrett was exceedingly friendly and helpful, and gave our eager dogs a warm welcome. He makes sure each site is clean and equipped with firewood to purchase. It's clear he's put a lot of love and care into this space.
The only downside was the occasional helicopter flying overhead from a military base, but it was easy to overlook this with all of the upsides of this lovely spot. We'd absolutely return and recommend this site to friends!

We had an amazing time visiting Jerrett's camp site. He's very friendly and responses to emails promptly. He gave us a tour of the whole property, educate us on some of the mushrooms on his property and showed us the handmade hot tub! Our dog had so much fun running around the whole place and especially loved playing fetch down by the creek. We would definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends!

We loved our weekend camping trip at Curley Creek! The privacy and quiet is exactly what we were seeking. Jerett was very welcoming and showed us around the property. He also showed us all the huckleberries and my kids were so excited. We will be back :)

Jerrett's land was wonderful to camp on. We weren't there for long, but we felt so welcomed, and Jerrett was a wonderful host. If I'm ever in the area again, I would love to stay there again.

Great place. Plenty of tree cover to keep your campsite shaded on the hot days. Plenty of space and very dog friendly. Host was great offering help and tips. Creek is beautiful. Recommend bringing good shoes for getting down to the creek, it gets pretty steep.

Nice private campsites with thick woods and a cool creek to wade in if you’re up for the adventure down the steep canyon side. Our host was friendly and helpful getting us settled in. If you are in the farther campsites, expect about a 1 minute walk on the nicely groomed trail.

Spent 3 days camping and every moment was relaxing and wonderful! Jarrett showed us the property and we had the option to pick from a few sites. He was kind and accommodating! The hike down to the creek was great! Definitely recommend drink, food and games. We spent the whole day and it was the best!

I had a great short trip to this campsite. The owner was lovely and gave me great history of the property. The campsites are well maintained and I even found the swimming hole. It was steep but doable. I felt safe as a female travelling alone. I will go there again.

The campsites were beautiful with well-established clean fire pits surrounded by cobblestones and river rocks. Jarret was super nice and welcoming. The porta-potty was super clean. The trail down to the creek was very steep, but Jarret had a rope tied to trees that you could use as a hand guide, and also a few ski poles that could be used as hiking sticks. (It felt like a glamping version of a bushwhacking adventure down to the water.)

The location was beautiful and the host was super chill! We camped for two nights for our anniversary and managed to get the whole place to ourselves, so it was very peaceful. Getting down to the creek was also a fun short hike. Will definitely be returning again :)

I loved camping on Jerrett’s land, not only was it clean, full of supplies and located in a great area of Port Orchard but Jerrett himself was fantastic. He responsed to every question promptly, allowed us to check in early and even toured the land with me. We brought our dog along with us and he had a great time as well.

Great experience! Jerrett was very kind and welcoming! You will have to walk a bit for site 2 but Jerrett has a wheel barrel you can use! We found it very beautiful and secluded. Much more space than the state park near by. The dogs had a great time exploring! We will be back.

Awesome little spot for a weekend getaway! Unfortunately my husband is injured so we couldn't go down to the river since it's steep but the forest was amazing and weather was perfect!

Great little spot to get away and soak up some nature! We had a great time hanging out around the campfire, playing games, and enjoying our hammock. The sites are surrounded by trees and greenery so it stays nice and cool even in the heat. Our dogs loved being off leash and running around the trails. Jerrett was very friendly and welcoming. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We loved staying on Jerrett’s land. It was just close enough while also being just far enough from the city to make a lovely weekend getaway. Our spot was so private, quiet and well equipped with fire food, stumps for seats/tables, and even dog tie outs. Jerrett was quick to answer questions and show us around his place, and was generally very kind and accommodating. We would definitely go back!
