I loved camping on Rhoda's land. The bathroom is kept clean. The walking trails are fun to hike, and the beautiful creek. The site was spacious, and there is a lot of land. You can purchase affordable wood when there is not a burn ban. Rhoda is responsive through messages, greets you to feel welcome, & then gives you space to enjoy. It is very peaceful there.

This is a pretty area with plenty of both meadows and forest. Our daughter enjoyed riding the paths on her bike. Campsite was spacious and clean with a couple small tables. I recommend bringing a folding table for cooking space. Wood for $10 was a generous load. Great hiking very close by (3 min drive), Washougal river has spots for swimming and fishing nearby.
We'd come again. Great camping and easy access from Portland.

Super quiet and very pretty. Great for hiking and wanting to unplug from the outside world a bit! Toilet was very clean, and the wood we purchased was fantastic. We will definitely come again.

Rhodas was very peaceful with alot of space. There was 2 other campsites that were occupied but with the space between sites, you could barely tell there were other ca.pers there. My dog was free to roam off leash without any issues. I will definitely be returning.

This property was lovely! Our camp site was wide open & had lots of room to spread out. The forest right beside us was majestic, dark & peaceful. There were even some extremely old trees, probably hundreds of years old, we got to witness. Loved the trails to walk on around the forest, the field & the spring. Definitely worth it! Phone reception was spotty getting there, so would definitely recommend checking directions & any correspondence in the nearby city of Washugal before taking the last treck out to the site.

We enjoyed our second stay at Rhoda’s land. We take advantage of hiking the trails around the property and enjoy listening to birds. We also played bocce (we brought) on the community grass area and wide dirt trails. Site 1 is one of the largest hipcamp sites we’ve stayed at and is across from the beautifully crafted and nicely kept outhouses. The site provides a reasonable amount of privacy for us.

Our group had an absolutely beautiful time here. The property is stunning and the trails are kept up and very enjoyable. Site 1 has an incredible sunset view and even though the hosts home is across the way from you it still felt quite private and like camping. Site 2 & 3 looked to be more tucked back in their own area. We traveled with a 20’ travel trailer and getting in and out was no issue. Definitely a great hip camp to try out. We will be looking forward to booking again.

Rhoda’s property is a nice and very affordable camp spot. The trails around the property are great for a morning stroll. I was the only camper so I had the place to myself and loved it. The spots are not on top of each other, but if there were other campers I would’ve seen and heard them. Outhouses are VERY clean and no smell. I didn’t get to explore any hiking in the area but this would be a great base camp for that activity.

We went with the expectation that there was another camper next to us but we ended up having the entire place to ourselves!
It was such a beautiful property with all the walking paths and our favorite part was the big field and seeing the neighbors with all their farm animals.
We met Rhoda on our last day where we met her and her husband and their pup. They both were so friendly and we will definitely be back with our kiddos this summer!

Stunning piece of property. Rhoda has 3 large, private, and very well-maintained sites. This spot is a gem and feels very remote, despite being only 30min from Vancouver. Great clean biffy too.

We stayed in site 2, and had a lovely night! The forest was quiet and beautiful, and the simple amenities were well done. Rhoda was not present during our visit, but made us very welcome in her messages. We would definitely love to come back and spend more time.

Rhoda's camping area was green, shady and quiet. She was very kind to us when we had a problem with our RV. By using Hipcamp's directions instead of relying on Google maps we found our campsite with no problem. The compostable toilet was clean and not smelly at all.

My girlfriend and I had a really nice stay at Rhoda’s Joy. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a great spot to unwind. The space was well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable night.

Rhoda's land is very nice, it's secluded but easy to find and conveniently located about midway between the mercantile and Naked Falls. Our site was spacious and had established trails through the woods on her property - which was very fun for the kids to run off and explore. There is a very nice compost outhouse and we got enough reception to send and receive texts (but not much else). Would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this site. We were a little unclear when we got there about what was part of the reserved site and what was shared open space, but Rhoda responded very quickly to clarify. Our kiddos had lots of fun walking along the trails on the property. There was plenty of room to spread out and play games. You can sometimes hear the road, but the site is pretty far from the road and it became easy to ignore. The directions were easy to follow. The outhouse was clean and convenient. We'd happily stay here again.

I stayed at Rhoda's Joy during the week and was a solo camper. It was very peaceful and everything was well maintained. The cell signal was somewhat weak preventing me from keeping up with my emails, darn.... I enjoyed my experience and would stay there again.

We love the addition of site #3 on Rhoda‘s property. It was nicely nestled into the trees with a great fire ring, and it was big enough for two large tents. We loved the trails around the property… Everything was nicely kept

We loved staying at Rhoda’s campsites. We reserved all three sites and all of them were great!!!! The grounds and bathrooms were clean and well maintained and the trails were perfect. We loved that our pups could be off leash. We would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic time at Rhoda’s property! Because our schedule changed, we were bummed to only stay 1 night but it was so worth it! The trails were wonderful & the bathroom/outhouse accommodations were 5 Star - way better than one would expect while camping! 🤗 The distance from Portland is perfectly doable for a little get-away, even for 1 night!

Loved the campsite. Even with other campers it felt private and was pretty quiet besides the birds chirping 😁. Must be a gun range around there was occasional shooting you can hear. Property was well kept, the trail around was nice to walk the dogs and the spring water area was very quaint. The outhouse compost toilet was clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend and stay again, great location near Gorge activities. Follow the direction Rhonda gives you verse Google.
