ABH developed BaseCamp and is feverishly working to breathe life into our downtown square. You will find a coffee shop, candy store, a Bruncherie, microbrewery and nightlife. We are grateful for your support of our efforts through your visit to Humboldt. Base Camp is a 21 acre modern glampground + RV Park, trailhead, and bike park located in Humboldt. We have beautiful tiny home cabins, mini A-frames and full service pull-through RV hookups. Located in Humboldt, KS at the trailhead to the Southwind rails-to- trails. Base Camp features a quarry pond for fishing and small watercrafts, large open fields for recreation and a bike skills course perfect for beginners and seasoned riders alike. Currently, we do not offer tent camping - coming soon! Our RV spots are located in our paved parking lot. Each rental includes water, 30 and 50 amp electric and sewer hookups.

It’s one of the clearest lakes in the state, well known to trophy anglers and locals. Come and enjoy all your favorite wet and wild adventures, including swimming, fishing, boating, and waterskiing. There are three campgrounds, beautiful equestrian trails, and a sandy beach for all your summertime relaxation needs. Pack a picnic and unwind for the day, or extend your stay at one of the full-service campgrounds. Trail riders can make use of primitive camping facilities when they’re out horsing around. For adventures on land and in the water, head out to Big Hill Lake.
