We have a family friendly Quiet campsite in the heart of Lancashire on our family run farm. Our site is situated in a species rich meadow field with large mown Pitches surrounded by wild flowers and meandering pathways linking the site together. We are surrounded by a young trees & woodland with the back drop of the Pennines. We offer both glamping and traditional non EHU camping on our site and we have lovely hot showers, clean toilet facilities, fresh water point, pot wash area, phone charger lockers, communal freezers and our little honesty shack with all little camping essentials to might need whilst staying with us. We also hire out picnic benches and fire pits to help enhance your camping experience. We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. Glamping in North West England guide

Overview

If your idea of a holiday doesn’t include pitching a tent, then you’ll still be spoilt for choice thanks to the wealth of North West England glamping options. It's usually the Lake District National Park that springs to mind in this area, but beyond the park, the region is a treasure trove of luxury glamping opportunities, with a diverse coastline to explore (including glamping sites near Blackpool, Liverpool, Morecambe Bay, and the Solway Coast) along with the quiet landscapes of the Forest of Bowland, where you can go glamping in yurts, safari tents, and shepherd's huts. If staying in summer, a pre-pitched luxury tent is more than adequate to protect you from the elements, and keeps the whole experience as close to classic camping as glamping can be. Outside of the summer months, glamping in a hut, cabin, or luxury tent with a log burner can give you a warm glow—not to mention a look of satisfaction when other campers are shaking the ice off their tents.
