5 stars out of 5. We could not have loved this trip more. Great environment, great people, great animals. If you're worried about the train sounds camp on the opposite side of the lake. We found it soothing & slept great. A must stay!

This was my first camping trip with my grandsons and new travel trailer. Davion and his daughter helped us newbies with everything we needed, even checking on us after dark. The land and lake is beautiful. We will be back.

We really enjoyed staying here! The farm setting is great and the stars are so bright at night. The property felt very safe with our young children and there was plenty of privacy since we were out back a little ways. We really appreciated having a full hook-up, as most places don’t have septic connections. A true rural Kansas farm experience! Great host and location, easy to get to. We will be back.

Our stay was fantastic. The Fisherman's Cove site we were at had a really great view over the water. The host was welcoming and gave us a tour when we arrived and told us about all the animals and other property information and some history. There was plenty of space on the property, and the laid back slow paced vibe was excellent. And we were close enough to town to run in and get a few things we needed for the weekend. The only downside is it's near railroad tracks. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you're particularly sensitive to sound, you might not enjoy the trains.

We love camping at C2T Ranch. It’s now become a tradition for my husband and I. This time, by chance, we needed to write to the hosts more than in previous years - they were so responsive and lovely. We highly recommend this place, and love to watch them grow. Also - get the zucchini bread!!!

Weekend Trip to Lake Georgia-Sue

We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, camping in the shade, and cooking out over a fire. The hosts were attentive and helpful and made sure we had everything we need. It was fun to see all the animals as well! The train noise was the only downside.

The added camper hookups worked out great for our group and allowed us to get off the road a bit. It was a great stay as always and we’ve already booked next springs stay. Thanks so much C&C and we look forward to seeing you again!

Weekend Trip to Thresher Museum

This a great place to stay while passing through, or if you want to explore the very interesting facility a bit. We did both! Clean, well kept grounds with a lot of room. An available shower house is a big plus. Howard was a great and helpful host. We'll likely stay here again as we pass through next year. Helpful hint: Not sure if there's a closer one, but there is a free dump station at St Francis City Park, 15 miles west.

This campsite was absolutely beautiful and had great land to stake a tent into the ground! Covered by trees and right by the river, there’s lots to see! Friendly hosts, great sized fire pit, and the site is easy to get to. Will come again when visiting Kansas!

Great space, many of options depending what you want to do. Surrounded by horses, goats, ducks and all the animals. Very accommodating camp host! Only thing to note is this is near train tracks, so some sites are close to noise. We didn’t have a problem in our roof top tent.

This was an amazing camping trip! Made us happy campers indeed! We loved visiting with the hosts and hearing their story. We loved that the land was well taken care of, it is evident that Chad and Cynthia love the land they live on. It was clean, natural, and quiet. Incredibly peaceful. It is a great place to disconnect from the world. It was a perfect place to hang our hammocks!

Little Spot on the Prairie

Come reconnect with nature and rejuvenate by the water at this unforgettable escape. Stargaze, watch sunsets, or curl up and read on the 15 foot hammock by the water. You’ll see lots of wildlife-ducks, geese, a great blue heron, deer, and more have been spotted by the pond. The pond is about an acre in size and we also own the hay field south of the pond all the way to the road. You are welcome to walk around the pond on the path we’ve mowed and can also walk the field (depending on the time of year). It’s a hay field and you’ll see all sorts of vegetation growing up, including some beautiful wildflowers in the spring. The RV spot is in a large grassy area next to an apple and peach tree. We also have a small asparagus patch and a raised bucket garden with tomatoes. Feel free to grab a couple items to add to your dinner as needed (depending on the season). We do have barn cats (and frequently kittens) that might venture over to say hello and a new puppy named Pepper. Pepper loves new people, but wears a collar connected to an electric fence outside, so he won’t be able to reach your rv spot. However, you are more than welcome to walk to him and give him all the love and snuggles. We also have three children that you may see outside climbing trees, reading in homemade hammocks, or playing cabbage ball in the yard. For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks and a paddleboat available for the pond, and plenty of fish in the pond to catch. There is also an apple orchard up the road that has a small storefront and a mini golf course in the back. Emporia is only 4 miles south of us so there’s plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby.
