Our Little Grove

7 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Lindsborg, KS
CONTACT HOST WITH BOOKING PROBLEMS. We are a delightfully funny 5 acre farmstead built by Swedish Pioneers in 1876. Our Hipcamp Service was started in 2023. We have a variety of spaces for vehicles, tents and small campers midst leaning trees and funky old farm buildings. Rustically quaint we are - 2 dogs, 2 sheep, one goat and shy cats. Well water via hydrant, drinkable water available. Outhouse. Access to electricity if you have an extension cord. Lots of campfire wood to use and take. The Milky Way on a clear night. - SMACK IN THE BELLY BUTTON of the U.S.A. 30 minutes from the intersection of INTERSTATE 70 (east-west) and INTERSTATE 135 (north-south) - VERY SAFE. Very popular with solo travelers cuz we have gates and we are PROTECTIVE HOSTS who care and look after you as if we were all one functional family. (Not for everyone. You have been warned). - PARK AT YOUR CAMPSITE - The one acre paddocks are surrounded by 4-5 foot fencing. Humans and pets can RUN WILD AND FREE as soon as parked at site. - MORE MESSAGING THAN USUAL. Beverly, Human Host, and not Canine Hosts, must know ahead when to unlock the gate and help you get settled. Special requests best made before arrival. WE ARE ART AND KINDNESS IN PROGRESS. A sense of humor and flexible joy for creative chaos will help give you a funny little farm experience. (More apt, Funny Farm Experience). LINDSBORG, just 3 miles away, has a population of 3,200, but has White’s Foodliner, a great grocery store with a Swedish aisle, a National Geographic Photographer at Small World Gallery, toy store, homemade ice cream, pharmacy, Dala Horses on every corner and LOTS of events. See https://www.visitlindsborg.com/ CORONADO HEIGHTS is our local castle where you can picnic and watch the sun rise or sun set with a 360 degree view of central Kansas countryside. Its only 15 minutes from Our Little Grove. See https://www.visit lindsborg.com/Coronado-heights MEADOWLARK TRAIL is a nicely groomed biking and walking trail. You can walk to it from your campsite.
