A wonderful, quiet place with very nice, thoughtful hosts. This was the only place we could find in close proximity to Pittsburgh and you'd never know you were close to the city. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The Blue Canoe

Great location if you love water side. The site was amazing, we fished and had a fire at our site every day / night. The management team and workers at Blue Canoe are top notch. The bike trail and kayaking all at your figertips is just awesome.. We bought a site there. That's how much we loved it!

Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.

Amy's place was fantastic! I love that it was on a more secluded road, with quiet neighbors, which made it feel more private. Close to a state park and not far from local grocery stores and gas stations. Amy was a great host and I would definitely stay here again! 10/10

The campground is split into two separate, but close locations. Sites 115 A-D, 129 A-D, 139 A, and 158 A-C, start at the address 115 Narrows Rd Fombell, PA 16123. Sites 126 A-I are located at 126 Lend Street, Fombell PA 16123. Please park safely and call Curt upon arrival.

We have 2 flat gravel campsites available on our property just 2 miles drive to beaver creek state park where you can hike, fish, visit the pioneer village, and sit by the creek. We are 26 miles from the Pittsburgh airport and 1 hour to downtown Pittsburgh. Enjoy being close enough to enjoy the big city offerings without the high cost of accommodations. There is a maintained hiking trail that starts on the edge of our neighbors property at the end of our road that goes to a state park. There are plenty of downed trees/branches on and near our property that are easy to access if you want to gather wood for a fire. Or just relax at your campsite. Fire rings are provided upon request. The property is located close to all the city amenities we love, but still gives us the privacy we wanted. Learn more about this land: The RV site is next to the house and is nearly level. (30A plug available) Road is visible from RV site, large backyard with fire pit is available. Local Park, wave pool, bike trails, shopping, and local eats or all within a 5 minute drive, some even within walking distance! JoJo's dinner is just around the corner.
