1 night at Happy Frog Springs/Hobson Meadows
We loved staying in the happy frog yurt! Beth was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to have a good time. The whole property is so picturesque, we walked along the grasses and listened to the birds. Back at the pond, you can watch (and listen to) the bullfrogs and ducks. It was a magical time! We will be back.

Great camping spot if you have small kids! This was our kids’ first camping experience and they had a blast. The tent area is spacious and the kids loved all the animals around, especially the bunnies and pigs.

2 nights at Sea Star~a cozy yurt
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sara’s yurt. It was very comfortable, close to what’s happening in Port Townsend but in a tranquil setting. Sara provided everything we needed, with lots of thoughtful touches that made us smile. The private outdoor patio was also comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Sara’s yurt!!

Juliane and her family were helpful and laidback. They gave us a cozy spot to spend the night and access to explore the property and hang out with the *adorable* animals. Baby rabbits! Piglets! Goats who yell “help.” Juliane even arranged a pony ride for my daughter, who was so excited to ride the horse and was treated so kindly by Juliane’s student rider. The space heater in the bell tent, access to an outlet to charge my dying phone, and a fire pit stocked with wood made our stay extra comfortable. We loved having access to restaurants in North Bend and Snoqualmie, as well as an easy jumping off point for so many different hikes. Highly recommend a stay here, especially if you have animal loving kids!

Such a cozy yurt! It had everything we needed for our short weekend getaway. The dogs were thankful to be able to come along. The porch was great to watch different birds at the bird feeder, and there were 5 deer watching me as I read. Sara was very responsive, and location was great for exploring Port Townsend! Would recommend staying here!

I love the tent near the pond. It’s very spacious and has everything you need. It was a unique experience sleeping with frog and raining sounds as a background. The restroom is very clean and has light all night. Nalie is very friendly to kids. She guided us while we walked around.

Weekend Trip to Happy Frog Springs/Hobson Meadows
Our glamping trip was one of the best experiences we’ve had! I needed to get away from everything, even for just one night and Beth’s place provided the perfect retreat. Beth, her husband and two doggos were so sweet and welcoming. We stayed in their new yurt and it so clean and cozy. I loved hearing the frogs, birds and wind thru the trees. It was so peaceful. They even helped us build a campfire and were so nice to provide us what we needed for smores! The bathroom was clean and the potable water was a huge plus. Beth recommended that we visit Tweets Cafe in Edison after we left and it was one of the best meals ever bc of the quality and portions. We will definitely come back!!

Wonderful space for kids. Very friendly and accommodating- The owners even brought out a heater because they thought we’d be chilly overnight.
The animals were so much fun for our almost 5-year old-Chickens, bunnies, pigs, goats, and horses. He had an amazing time riding his bike and being shown around by the family.
Keep in mind that animals smells :) But we adjusted quickly. We will be back again.

The yurt was so cozy and peaceful! There were a ton of blankets and an electric heater which kept it nice and cozy. An electric kettle for us to make coffee in the morning and a gas stove to cook soup on. The bathroom is a lil composting shed nearby, a very short walk which was really convenient and you get to see amazing views of the nearby mountain. The birdsong and rain noises outside the yurt made for a really relaxing and peaceful time! We would definitely stay again:)

We would recommend it. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have the hanging separations between the bed areas. I really liked that. They had like those Chinese screen things which don’t really do much for ambience. If they could clean that dome on the top for the light that would be amazing. I mean overall it was a really nice area.

Group trip
We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay inside the yurt! There were 3 couples in our group. Two couples used the queen bed and full bed while the other brought their camping bed and slept on the floor. (The twin bed was just a bit too small for them.) We kept the yurt warm at night with the wood burning stove and the wood that the hosts provided. One of our friends was able to use the gas stove to make broccoli cheese soup for the group. The outhouse was clean with hot running water to wash our hands in. They also provided a hot shower next to the outhouse but our group did not utilize it. We chose the yurt as our base while we rafted the Sauk River. The property had parking for our truck and trailer and another car. During our stay we chatted with other hipcampers and a family that stays on the property. We were able to get up and close with sheep as well. We highly recommend staying here! You don't regret it!

Erick was a great host and showed us around the property for a few minutes to get oriented. The fire stove was lovely and the gas lamps gave a cozy feel. Be prepared for little to no electricity, except in the bathroom. It’s a place to unplug! We kayaked in the creek and went hiking around the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience!

We had such a great time staying at this yurt camp! We came with kids and weren’t sure what to expect, but everything was honestly perfect. The beds were super warm and comfy (huge bonus with kids), and the fire kept the whole space cozy at night. We had access to hot water, a clean compost toilet, and everything we needed in the kitchen—pants and utensils. There was a full propane stove, fresh water, and electricity, plus extra blankets, heated blankets, a heater, fan, lights. It was rainy during our stay, but it ended up being the best kind of camping: dry, cozy, and peaceful inside the yurt while still being surrounded by nature.
It was super quiet and peaceful the whole time, which made it so relaxing. We forgot our French press and coffee filters (oops), but made it work with paper towels and still managed to enjoy our morning coffee! The urinal we saw in a few of the photos was actually gone, but it worked out better for us without it anyway.
The location is also perfect—really close to some amazing state and national parks, so we got to explore, hike, and spend quality time outdoors as a family. Back at the yurt, there were tons of board games, puzzles, and books, which made downtime really fun and chill, especially with the kids.

We had a great time staying in the Yurt Palace. My husband and I traveled with four of our children age 12-18 and the Yurt had plenty of space for all of us to eat, sleep and hangout. The property was nice and expansive and was great for some flashlight hide and seek. The rope swing gave our kids hours of entertainment and the treehouse was really cool. The onsite host was very responsive and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. The wood stove kept the Yurt very warm and there were plenty of blankets. We would definitely stay here again!!
