I had to revise my visit date a couple of times and Brenda was very easy going about it. The land was gorgeous with an amazing open starry sky at night. I really enjoyed my stay!

We loved camping at WyndyRidge Prairie! Google Maps took us right to the property and the sites were clearly labeled. The land was clear and flat, easy for tent camping. We have a hybrid car, so we appreciated being able to charge it at site #1 with electric and water. The site is near but not too close to their house, and we loved seeing the dogs (but they were kept an appropriate distance away to not have any interaction with our dog). Heads up to tent campers, there are no toilets, so we used the restrooms at a gas station about half an hour away right before arriving/after leaving. The stars are BEAUTIFUL at this site! We would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the site. Quiet and peaceful. If you arrive with a camper it is relatively level. Very little leveling required. The hosts were amazing. Definitely recommend this place.

It is simply as advertised. You have your own prairie off grid. I enjoyed the picnic table, the stars, the sunrise and the sunset. It can be very windy out there.So most times hard to enjoy the outdoors. I've stayed there two times. For the price, you can't beat it as a one night stopover off grid site.

Beautiful place to spend an evening. Our hostess was awesome and the views are lovely. Definitely recommend and hope to return. Be aware of washboard roads. Go slow, you'll be fine! Enjoy!

It was such a peaceful site, the stars were wonderful and the silhouette of a mountain with the sunrise was beautiful! It was nice being able to get there so late without it being a problem since we were coming from out of town! Had a wonderful time!

Drove out to watch the Meteor shower, where the sky would be dark and quiet, Brenda's place was just right!! Good direction and Good description of the property.
I would very much recommend Brenda's camp ground!

Car camping here was really easy and straightforward, and even at night it was easy to find the site thanks to some good markings. As the name implies, it is windy here, so bring extra layers in the colder months. The surrounding landscape was really pretty! Also, light pollution here is very low (~Bortle 3), though the seeing wasnt great when I went (not anyone's fault though). Only downside was the dogs nearby bark a lot, though they did calm down a bit after dark.

Great communication with the owner. Very clear instructions for parking and directions to the site. Nice quiet area, large space. The road in can be sticky when wet and the site is a bit sloped so it can be tricky to level.

We felt pretty secluded, other than the busy host home about 300 ft away, it was just a few houses in the praire.
A great view of the sky, although for a regular camping trip that isn't stargazing, I would reccomend a place with more seclusion, as is to say less private property surronding us. We didn't feel secure rambling on the praire, since there is small cactus that I would be fine with but my dog had issues.
There were cyotees howling at night, great winds, clouds, and a little rain.
I enjoyed my stay, but would likely not return.

I loved the site @ Wyndy Ridge. The site is as described. With water & electric. Views of Sunrise & sunset are beautiful. Owner is quick to respond. & very nice. We had a 5th wheel & Duel wheel truck... 45 ft 5th wheel fit in the spot...has a picnic table...road/driveway leading up to it was not paved. Site is grass and slopping.. We enjoyed being close in miles to visit our friends ❤️

Wonderful and peaceful spot on the prairie! Host was welcoming and helpful. The Wi-Fi was good, and I was able to do my remote work without any issue. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful high plains setting, great visibility for miles. I saw many different animals(antelope, prairie dogs, ground squirrels, cotton tail rabbits, also saw deer prints) on the drive to the site and while camping. I would recommend Brenda’s site, it was a great place to rest.

As first time RVers driving a RV through all sorts of terrains, Brenda was more than accommodating with our (very) late arrival and even allowed us to stay past check out so we can get a good long rest. She made us feel very welcomed and safe to crash for the day, and her doggos (yes, plural!) were v cute to watch from our campsite. It was a very dry day when we arrived, so the road leading up to the house was a little rough for our class B RV. But with a slow pace, the views and sunset was definitely worth it. Will keep Brenda in mind the next time we pass through!

WyndyRidge is a wonderful spot in the middle of beautiful landscape! Site was spacious, clearly marked, and afforded a wonderful sunrise view. Unfortunately I was only here for a very quick overnight stop, but I would definitely book again for longer.

We loved the views and the variety of weather we saw move through the area. Brenda's land is secluded and quiet, we were not disturbed by road noise or other transportation noises. Brenda is a gracious host who is willing to answer questions and provide information as it is requested. She helped with our water hookup and it was a great site for our Husky to get plenty of walks.
