Great yurt. As we were driving my kid asked if we could throw paper airplanes in there. I told her ‘sorry,it’s just a largish tent’
I was wrong, it was huge and we threw a paper airplane. We got there late and left early (for us) so couldn’t get a full tour but saw the rabbits and the bathroom was cleaner than ours.
Great communication and would stay again. Hopefully with less dawdling on the way, but that’s probably not possible.

The yurt is amazing and the farm is such a unique experience. I loved touring the grounds and seeing all the animals! It’s so peaceful out here and a very convenient option for a camping trip to just disconnect a little. The hosts are also amazing, super hospitable and very passionate about their farm. Can’t wait to book again and bring some friends!

This was the first time my wife and I went camping in a Yurt and we really enjoyed it. Taylor was great to communicate with and met us at the site even when we arrived later on in the evening. The weather was a bit wet and humid on our trip, but Taylor helped us out by washing and drying the bedding the next day so we had a better fluffy, dry sleep. I think if we camped in the fall we would have had an even cozier time, but between the box-fan, the wood-burning stove and the vent flaps, we were able to regulate the temperature fairly well. The farm is very spacious and we loved meeting their sheep-dog Talia along with their other furry friends and critters.

We absolutely loved our stay at the yurt! Even the rainy weather added to the experience—it made everything feel extra peaceful. The wood-burning stove kept us warm and cozy, and waking up to misty fields all around us felt magical. It was quiet, private, and had such a special, intimate vibe. The outdoor bathroom setup is amazing too—way better and closer than what we’ve seen at other spots. This was the perfect way to ease from winter into spring. Huge thanks to Emily and Taylor for creating such a dreamy little escape!

We enjoyed our stay at Taylor’s beautifully decorated yurt! It was comfortable and warm with electricity and pretty hanging lights. Our kids especially enjoyed their time here. We made s’more’s out of the wood burning stove, made a yummy breakfast, rode on the tire swing, enjoyed petting the farm animals and learning about the farm. The Bloody Pond was pretty cool. It is actually red, due to the iron levels. Best part was that their property is right next to the Chickamauga Battlefield Park, where we went family biking the next day. Things to keep in mind is that the yurt is on a slope, but that didn’t bother us. We brought our Coleman high air bed and placed the head towards the top of the slope. Also, their farm is next to a railroad and road, but the train did not pass by at any time during our stay and the road is not busy. We also enjoyed the peace at night while hearing the sounds of nature. All in all, we’d definitely stay again, especially for the easy access to the Chickamauga Battlefield Park!

I loved staying in the yurt! It was tastefully decorated with cozy lights and has a wood burning stove inside. It even has electricity for your devices which was an unexpected surprise. I love tent camping but this was different. The tours of the property with emphasis on permaculture and sustainable farming practices was a lot of fun. There a ton of animals around, they are all incredibly friendly and don't bother you in the area around the yurt. The land owners, Taylor and Emily, were very quality hosts. I will be staying here again next time in the area.
