We absolutely loved staying at Robibero. Harry greeted us when we arrived and took care to make sure we were set despite the rain! We started our trip with some excellent wine from the winery, and ended with a beautiful night and big fire. The site had plenty of flat land for the tent, each site has a large fire pit and a table. Harry has a huge stockpile of firewood as well. We cannot wait to come back!

Had a phenomenal time staying here. It was an excellent first Hipcamp experience. The place had everything we needed from a flat tent spot to clean bathrooms and firewood. We especially loved bringing some wine back to our tent from the winery. Just be sure to come early enough to get a tasting! The host was very accommodating and helpful during our stay

We had a great experience! The property was beautiful, firewood was provided, Harry was friendly, the bathrooms were very clean, etc. It was also conveniently located; we were minutes away from New Paltz and the Minnewaska Preserve. We’ll definitely be back again!

Always happy with Harry’s place! We come here every year after hiking in nearby Minnewaska and love having a bottle of wine, pizza and the sleep on the meadow on the winery. There is a fire pit, table and toilets are also available. Harry is a great host! We’ll be back!

Beautiful land for tent camping. What a wonderful time - yummy wine, rainbow views, and the dogs had a blast running in the field.
Host was so kind, friendly, and helpful. Definitely recommend for a quiet reprieve from what has been a busy roadtrip camping in many campsites!

Harry himself + the entire staff were super accommodating and made the entire camping experience simple and flexible as can be, on a beautiful property. We had the site all to ourselves and even if we hadn't, it was spread out enough to be fine. Sunset and sunrise were dynamite. The wine was great too 😉

Harry’s place was perfect for exploring the Shawangunk Mountains. Very accommodating! Even drove by asking if we needed more fire wood. Plenty of privacy plus steps away from Robibero’s winery with delicious wood fire pizza. We will definitely be back!

This campsite is an absolute five-star gem in the heart of the Shawangunk Mountains, New York. Surrounded by woods, you'll feel wonderfully secluded while being conveniently close to other places.
The fire pit at the site is excellent, and they provide all the wood you need for cozy evenings under the starry night sky.
What sets this place apart is that it's located on the grounds of an incredible winery with an amazing vibe. Live music keeps the weekends lively, and the servers are both friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the wine-tasting experience.
Our host went above and beyond, giving us a tour of the winery and making us feel at home. The property is beautifully maintained, and the night sky is stunning.
They've got a giant fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs by the winery, creating the perfect spot to sip wine and mingle with fellow guests. There's also a massive outdoor pizza oven, and the pizzas are delicious.
For those looking for activities, the campsite provides games like cornhole and ladder toss, adding to the fun and relaxation.
In a nutshell, this campsite offers the best of nature, entertainment, and relaxation. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another memorable weekend in this beautiful slice of the Shawangunk Mountains. Five stars, no doubt!

We had a great time camping at Robibero! A lovely spot in a field behind the winery, right on the edge of the woods so there was some shade in the morning and evening. We appreciated the chair and bench provided, and used the fire ring, and had a lovely campfire one night. Access to a bathroom was also a plus! Beautiful sunrises, lovely starry nights. A great place to camp and explore the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend, and hope to return to camp again!

Love the camping at Robibero Winery! We were visited by birds and deer in the field and even a rainbow one morning. The fire ring, table and free firewood were perfect. And bathroom at the winery was easy to use. Very close to lovely little town of New Paltz, several great state parks, views of the Shawagunk mountains, other wineries and activities. Loved the Water Street Market in New Paltz - delicious coffee at Mud Puddle and delicious fancy toast at the Grazery :)

Harry and company are the nicest people ever, the entire experience is great and we’re fortunate they share with the public.
As far as camping, no surprises if you’re a camper and nice wide open space.
We plan to return, these folks couldn’t be more accommodating.

Host should've closed the camp site while I was there. Cars parked 20 ft in front my tent, people walking around at night with dogs off leash, and loud party music everywhere else during daytime. I left a day early just to get away from the noise. Not a word of apology from the host.

We enjoyed the vineyard fire pit! There was only one other tent in a huge flat grass field, so it was comfortable, quiet, and private. And the electric hand dryers in the bathrooms were nice on a cold day.

this was so fun! loved that there were little fire pits at every plot. it was cold the first weekend of october — 42 degrees at night — but so worth it. beautiful property and Harry is a friendly guy. it was a great home base for New Paltz.

Such a fun stop on our bike trip from NYC to Niagara Falls! The property is beautiful and winery facilities and staff are wonderful!
It’s an open field camping setup with multiple fire pits to choose from with firewood!
Loved it & Harry was great to communicate with! Will definitely be back

We loved staying at Robibero’s Winery. Harry was a great host. The field was pleasant to stay at with great restrooms. Drinking wine at main building was as great as you can imagine. Our dog loved running around the fields and all the guests were nice. Looking forward to being back in the future.

This was my first time camping. I enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful views. Camping area are at a great distance from each other. Only down fall was the bathroom situation. There is only one area. port a potty. So I preferred to go into the woods. No food at the winery.

Ultimately this spot was just OK for us. We anticipated it would be more private in the sense that other campers would not be on-site camping with us. There was one other tent near us; however, I got the feeling there could be times when there were a few additional.
After reading fellow reviews we did understand that overflow traffic from the winery would exist; and although I did not mind, my partner did.
Harry was so nice and we were grateful for the opportunity to check out the winery and even bring our four-legged friend inside for the tasting.
I would recommend this spot to serve as a "home base" to explore the nearby area or visit the winery at length but I would not recommend it if you do not have activities to keep you busy.
