We loved the spotted sandpiper air stream #1! My pup loved the stay. It was cozy, secure and fun. We had all the basic necessities met and we loved the convenience of having the our own private restroom directly next to our airstream. There isn’t a ton of privacy as it’s situated next to other campers but if you don’t mind socializing a bit, it’s not bad at all. Instructions getting to the airstream are a little more complicated than it was to actually get there (it’s pretty straightforward) but that’s not a bad thing. The only difficulty we experienced was knowing which airstream was ours, as the markings for the cabins & other airstreams/RV’s weren’t clearly marked and made for a hard time locating our camper but we made it nonetheless! We’d love to return in the summer, as we stayed during fall foliage season (def recommend) to chase local waterfalls (all within 30min). Overall a great experience

It was such a beautiful spot! Jordan and Kate were also gracious enough to upgrade us to a cabin which was perfect as we were celebrating a birthday. Will absolutely be back, fantastic hosts a a beautiful site.

The Spotted Sand Piper Glamping Tent was a delightful discovery that exceeded my expectations! Nestled in the heart of nature, this glamping experience offered the perfect balance of outdoor adventure and modern comforts.
The tent itself was a true gem, with its thoughtful design and impressive amenities. From the cozy interior to the convenient fridge and TV, every detail was carefully considered to enhance the glamping experience. The free firewood was an especially nice touch, allowing me to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a campfire.
The host's responsiveness and attention to detail were also noteworthy. They were quick to address any questions ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.
I look forward to returning to this hidden gem in the Finger Lakes region many times in the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable glamping experience!

Airstream #2
The Airstream was very cute and had everything we needed, free firewood, water and more. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The campground is right on the lake and the views are beautiful, we would love to visit the campground again.

WOW! Totally amazing. Beautiful property, super cozy and comfortable surroundings the cabin we stayed in was perfect and sit it self, simply stunning. The dock and option to have fun in the water was a bonus. The location was great too. Minutes from Ithaca and only a short to Watkins Glen

This is such a lovely place. It has everything you would ever want and need for making your camping experience beautiful! We did a fire outdoors at night and made s’mores. We went kayaking in the lake, we swam in the lake. We hiked the woods. Everything was lovely and Kate the owner was super sweet and helpful with all the questions! They even have a lovely bathroom with showers and they offer potable water to drink :) honestly would do this 100% more times ❤️

We had such a magical time this weekend. It's a gorgeous spot on a serene lake with really friendly neighbors. The grounds have tons of extra little things to do like games for kids and a playground, paddle boards, etc. will definitely book again!!

We had a great time at the Spotted Sandpiper in the glamping tent! The entire place was super cool. Having waterfront access with kayaks and paddle boards was awesome. The amenities and location was great! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Kate for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at the spotted sandpiper. The whole campground area was nice and quiet and the hosts were very accommodating! We enjoyed sitting on the dock on the lake and taking in the beautiful scenery the most. The location was great also- just 20-30 minute drive to nearby towns of Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Highly recommend checking this wonderful place out!

We stayed here for a weekend. Honestly, to disconnect a little from the work routine and daily fatigue, from habit. For me and my daughter, it was the first time, but for my husband it is already common.
The place is one where you disconnect from everything and connect with nature. From the moment you arrive you love it, its views, the comfort, the silence. Everything.
Let's talk about Airstream #2
It is a cozy place, we are a family of 2 adults, a 5 year old girl (autistic) and a service dog. The place is very clean, it includes sheets, towels and everything necessary, as it says in the description and we loved that.
But there is a factor that we did not know and that is that we understand that due to the humidity and the environment it has a lot of mold and you feel it when you breathe and it is seen on the ceiling and on some of the walls. It was also a weekend where the weather was a little unstable and we thought that the RV had an expandable roof as seen in the photo but, unfortunately Kate told us that it did not, since previous guests damaged it, but we took an awning with us and the weather factor did not ruin our stay.
Kate was very kind and always looked out for us. He answered our questions, needs and concerns at all times. From answering where a store was closest, to minimal questions about the accommodation. The treatment was very personalized and we liked that a lot.
We were delighted with the place and with everything.There are many places to visit nearby.

Wow. We are tent campers, but, this tent was like staying at the the Ritz! Every detail was attended to in this accommodation including a full bathroom with hot water!
You literally just need need to bring food and clothing. Communication was easy with the host and our fur babies were welcome. The use of the kayaks and boards is a definite bonus. We will definitely be back for a longer stay as this was a last minute book. Highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Spotted Sandpiper. The tent accommodations were just right! They thought about all the little details - bug spray, soap, fire lighter, plasticware, first aid kit, fresh towels, etc. Plus they offer plenty of water and firewood free of cost ❤️
Checking in and out was a breeze. They respond quickly to any question or concern. These hosts truly want you to have a positive experience :) We highly recommend it. And we’d definitely book again.
FYI - the portable toilet and shower are situated close for ease of use. Very clean with a powerful shower head!
They have a private beach area but we went to Taughannock instead - more our style. It’s 8 min down the road. It has plenty of space, is dog-friendly, and you can walk to a gorgeous waterfall. We also hit up Ithaca and Seneca Falls. The Spotted Sandpiper is a gem of a location for all types of Finger Lake adventures.
All around we had a beautiful experience at this camp and throughout the area.

Location was terrific, only wish that the weather would have been better. My friends and I enjoyed the canvas tent, it had every thing that we needed and the installation of the small bathroom right next door was great! The little A-Frames next to us were very cute looking and my look to stay in one (or two with friends) or in one of the yurts! P.s. Jordan was amazing! So helpful to us!

Spotted Sandpiper Glamping Site 1
We had the best weekend at the Spotted Sandpiper! We stayed in the glamping tent and it was absolutely perfect. It was super spacious and the host provided everything you could possibly need during your stay. The beds were super comfortable and made up with fresh sheets. We loved the close proximity to the restroom and shower. The property is gorgeous and there is a lot to explore! The beach/ dock has all countless water toys for guests to enjoy. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back soon. Shout out to the hosts for being welcoming and making sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely retro trailer in beautiful, peaceful woods just a stone’s throw from Cayuga Lake. Neighbours are reasonably close by but our stay was quiet and chilled nonetheless. Our own separate bathroom across the private deck worked really well. Use of kayaks, laundry facilities and fire wood all included, which was much appreciated. We loved staying in a genuine slice of Americana history, and appreciated being immersed in nature.

I booked one of the glamping tents for my son and his girlfriend for the weekend. The pictures online looked really nice, but they said it was even nicer in person! Everything was provided, so you basically just need your food and clothes. They had a great time! Can't wait to book a site for myself.

Comfortable stay that had everything we needed! Full bathroom was nice. Place was very clean when we got there. Kate was very responsive and accommodating. The location is just the best - right on the lake which is beautiful, with private access, free kayaks and paddleboards that we were able to enjoy, and minutes away from everything we wanted - we were there for Hammerstone (women’s carpentry), also highly recommend Finger Lakes Ciderhouse for a fun time and Gimme! Coffee. Would stay again! Thanks Kate and Jordan!

My husband and I did not have a great experience. We were deceived by the photos. We thought we were going to be more secluded in nature. But we were surrounded by other campers. There was even construction of three more camp areas happening while we were there. The beach was deceiving too. I thought it was going to be a lot cleaner and nicer for sitting on the shoreline and enjoying the water. You need water shoes for the pebble beach. Plus it is a steep walk down to the beach.
Our airstream had a nice bathroom, but the airstream itself was held together by tape and had so many holes that SO many bugs got in.
We left early due to a bad sleep with the bugs and being way too hot. The airstream did have an ac unit but it wasn’t enough for the July heat.
Overall, it was a lot of money for what it was, and we were not happy with the experience.

This camp is all about location, access to the lake, and amazing camp hosts. while we had an issue with the site itself, the host corrected it with above and beyond expectations. The airstream itself was basic but clean. the bathroom is NOT part of the RV but connected via a wooden deck 6' across and is a modern bathroom. There was even a portable A/c provided as it was a warm weekend. We just had 2 of us and it would be a tight space for more than 2. The location of the site is at the top of the hill above the main camp area. It is quite the hill climb up from the lake. The camp location itself is well located as just 20mins from Ithaca and easy access to the wine trail. Cute town 10 mins away with access to a few restaurants and a full-size grocery store. free firewood and a fee SUP/Paddleboards for use at the lake but first come first serve. Lake is really quite nice with a large dock.

We loved camping in the A-frames! It was the perfect mix of camping and nature with modern comforts (including A/C). The lake was so much fun, and we were able to borrow kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe. We enjoyed fishing and swimming. Grilled our meals and had a campfire for s’mores. The fireworks reflecting on the water were beautiful. There was an amazing view of the stars!!!

Kate's site was lovely and well maintained. The amenities for great and communication when needed was quick too. Location right on the lake was beautiful, with access to paddling and life jackets.

Spotted Sandpiper Glamping Site 1
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spotted Sandpiper. The host responded immediately to any of our questions or needs. The owner and rest of the staff were super nice and helpful. We originally booked a glamping tent but the owner gave us a free upgrade to a nearby yurt since no one was using it. How awesome is that?! We did see the inside of the glamping tent which was roomy and clean. The bathroom was right next to the tent which was very convenient. The yurt was great...very roomy for our family of 4. We didn't really need to bring anything except our food. The yurt had everything we needed.....full kitchen supplies, towels, blankets. The guest supply house had a TON of extra supplies as well. Free firewood and gallons of water were a big bonus too. The lake was beautiful. It was too cold for us to do lake stuff but we enjoyed just skipping rocks and watching the sunset 🙂 The Spotted Sandpiper is in a great location as well...close to all of main attractions of the Finger Lakes. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful and quiet location for a weekend getaway. Communication was simple and easy, directions were clear, and shared supplies were available for use. Traveler’s beware arrival after dark was not ideal, but that was my own doing. Loved this place and would return!

Super duper friendly people and really down to earth environment. The air stream is super nice especially the bathroom if youre used to the community ones at public parks. Owners are super responsive and kind folks. Go ahead and do it cause not many people can say they have stayed in an airstream 😊 the complimentary firewood was a huge huge plus for us

What a fantastic spot ! Stayed in the glamping site 1 and was a great space with a fan or heater depending on preference. Was very spacious and all the amenities we required. Great location and beautiful property, would definitely recommend.
