Great quick getaway! Close to the beach and can hear waves, especially at night. Host is transparent about the road noise but it gets pretty quiet in the evenings and at night so it didn’t really bother us. Lots of space to set up camp, close to amenities, nice hosts (not onsite). Would recommend!

Site is well maintained. Porta potty is very clean. The road noise was very minimal and did not bother us at all. We could hear the ocean waves from the spot. Highly recommend.

We had a great one night stay at Megan and Jason’s site. It was easy to find, a beautiful setting, and close access to hiking trails and beaches. We personally did not have any issues with the road noise, and at night we enjoyed listening to the sounds from the shore. Our dog enjoyed exploring the land and relaxing by the picnic table!

Lost camp is easily one of the coolest chunks of land in Western Oregon. The Coast is largely privatized by logging interests and luxury condos, and it's a relief to see some owners choosing to keep land wild. We had an amazing time with our small group, huddled around the campfire, telling stories late into the night. Tuna tataki, and local albacore poke took the evening to the next level. The access here is pretty unparalleled with easy jumping off to Cape Perpetua, Neptune, and Yachats just a short beautiful drive away.

The property was beautiful. It was well maintained and had a spotless porta potty. Megan allowed us to book last minute, which was so accommodating!

It was a beautiful campsite and the port o john was very, verey clean. My only realization was, how close it was to the road. It wasn't a problem at night but very noisy during the day.

We really enjoyed our quick over night stay! Nicely located to get to other outdoorsy areas. Loved how much space there was to roam with our dog! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

We loved the property and it had a lot of space for our pup to run around. We loved having a picnic table and it was a plus to have a porta potty available. The location was only 10 minutes from town and super close to nearby hikes/beaches.

The privacy was wonderful for us and our active pup.
Some of the area wasn't good for tent set up as the ground had some hard rock/concrete underneath.

This was a great spot to a pitch up our tent for a few days! I was surprised at how quiet the property was even with the highway right outside. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it. The porta-potty was nearly spotless which was a plus!

Great private and spacious spot to spend the night. The fire pit is done up really well with logs to sit on around it. Port-a potty was very clean. Appreciated that the host was upfront about highway noise, you can hear it as it’s right off the highway but noise doesn’t bother us so it wasn’t an issue!

This private property was perfect for a us & our small, barky dogs that have never been camping as it provided a peaceful lot of land, & they had a nice big area to run around! Porta potty was very clean & it’s right off the main road but also located in between towns, so noise pollution was very minimal.

Megan was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Their land, though a bit rough is absolutely gorgeous. I had the place to myself and tucked into a little cove. So peaceful and special.

Beautiful spot with a single massive campsite. It was perfect for me, my tent, and my hammock, but would also be great for a bigger group.
It's just off the highway, so was great for a stop on my road trip, and a quick 3 min drive to the beach.
Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Big site and nice to have it all to ourselves. Right on 101, but fence and trees make that not a big deal. Very clean port-a-potty. Site says vehicle limited to 16 feet, but we had no trouble with our sprinter towing a long-ish teardrop trailer.

Despite many reviews saying the road pollution wasn’t too bad, it was a constant reminder that we were smushed in between house dwellers and a busy highway during the summer. I’m sure it’s better during quieter months, but our rescue dog struggled to relax.
The people before us left quite a bit of trash including their children’s pants and underwear. We set these aside but did not pick up.
The porta potty was clean and maintained on a weekly basis, but the owners live in Bend, which explains why the condition of the property did not feel well maintained, especially for &
$54/night.

The site was private and we had the whole place to ourselves (not sure if it’s always like that and lucked out or not?) The site was beautiful and they left us a shovel, rake, axe, firewood and kindling to set up our site and fire. Highway noise really wasn’t an issue for us. It was kind of hard finding the property and had to do a couple U-turns but we eventually found it! Just look for the wooden sign and red lettering along with the green gate. It was a great stay, thanks so much.

We really enjoyed this camping spot. Beautiful scenery, lots of beautiful trees. Lots of room for the kids to just be kids and the dog to run. We enjoyed the privacy away from people and having the whole area to ourselves for the weekend. The bathroom was really clean. The whole site was clean and a nice set up. Picnic table and places to sit around the fire. :) We will definitely use this spot again when in the area. Thank you for hosting this spot. :)

We had a great weekend here! There was a lot of privacy while also feeling safe. The road noises weren’t a problem at all, and I love that you can hear the ocean at night. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cleaner porta potty. Will stay here again!

Great spot close to everything on 101. The site was clean and very private. We could hear the road but that wouldn’t stop me from booking again. Mid May there was no firewood north of the site but plenty in Florence. Would recommend!

My friend and I stayed here with 2 dogs and it was AMAZING. Truly the most perfect campsite, not “trashed” at all. The port a potty was the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. Perfect ground, site size, so much shade and trees, it was the perfect time. We will keep coming back again and again. Not to mention the incredible location, you could not ask for better on the coast.

We loved camping here.
It was very private, and even though it was near the highway, it was still pretty quiet.
This is a lovely campsite and very spacious and access to some hiking trails and coastal views just down the road.
The ease of directions from the host made it stress free. Next time we will stay a little longer

The photos all made this site look pretty spectacular, and I can extend some grace because we camped at the end of March - probably not the peak of their upkeep season.
Alas, we were bummed. The site seemed pretty trashed. There was garbage and tools/maintenance stuff laying all around in the campsite.
We’d be open to trying this again in the summer with the hope that it is a magical, beachy little forest retreat.
