This was a top tier camp site for us! The property was beautiful with the giant heritage trees, stream, and ducks waddling about. Not to mention the view of the horizon for sunset! This property was beautiful!! We stayed on site 7. It was really nice being so close to the river. The wild life is stunning as well; we saw eagles, hawks, jays, chipmunks, western squirrels. The host, James, was very welcoming and hospitable! Will definitely be returning. The campsites are close together, but you still have a sense of privacy w the trees and bushes separating sites.

Such a fun unique place, we had a blast! Tony is super awesome and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the golf course. As a former golf course superintendent, it was such a thrill to checkout the layout of the course. Such a great camping experience. 10 stars out of 10 stars! I’m already checking my calendar to see when we can go back! We used our e scooters to checkout some of the other golf holes.

Weekend Trip to Mt. Hood Enchanted Forest

The three of us and our dog loved camping at tent site B! There was plenty of space for our two tents, and more if needed. The campfire setup overlooking the river was so peaceful. Having the three wheelbarrow/wagons available was extremely helpful and made hauling our gear down the winding dirt trail a much smoother task. We stayed just one night for a Mother’s Day celebration but are excited to book again this summer for a family camping weekend. We never heard the campers down at the cabin site, so the spacing of sites was ideal for privacy while at the same time not being too far of a walk to the potable water and toilet.

We had a great time! It was quite and we had the entire area to ourselves. Anthony was very pleasant and checked in on us when we arrived to see if we needed anything (supplies, firewood, etc.) and as left. A cool place!

What a delightful place! Peaceful, scenic and surrounded by personal family history dating back to 1850. Jim is a wonderful host. Thankfully his great great great grandfather established the farm ten minutes from the Oregon Garden, 30 minutes from Silver Falls and only 8 minutes from the Willamette Valley Pie Company!

This is our second year staying at the holistic farm tent and we love it. They just redid the tent and it's so sweet inside. The farm is so peaceful and we love to see the cows and sheep. Check out the clatskanie farmer collective while in town.

We enjoyed space 17 at the last resort. While there, we felt the warmth of the sun and were able to go about our exploring without worrying about our belongings. The campground was clean and tidy, and we were amazed at all the amenities it had to offer.

The campground was beautiful and really well kept up. The store was nicely stocked and everyone working there were friendly and efficient. The creek running through the back of the campground was so pretty and they even offer canoes! The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot, with excellent water pressure. I would definitely stay there again!

You can ride your ATVs right from the camp. There is huckleberry and mushroom picking in early summer and late spring. Local wildlife consists of deer, elk, eagles and owls, pheasants, quail, wild turkeys, all kinds of birds, (even an occasional farm chicken may wander by) and coyotes and frogs calling at night. My friendly labs like to come say hi. Campsites are for tents or RVs. Our electric is shared among the campsites. Our water is from a wonderful deep cold well that’s piped to a shared outlet in the middle of the RV camp. Bring a hose to hook up, we have one if you need one. Guest Wi-Fi if you’re close to the store. Cell service is limited. I do allow generators if you are not sharing the park with anyone else. If you’re the only ones, no quiet time, if others are camping, quiet time is from 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. Site 1: largest fire pit, close to the power hook up, the most shady spot but still sunny, closest to the park. Site 2: A bit of shade, most of the day in sun. Closest to water hook up. Site 3: A Sunny site, a little late afternoon shade. A little more privacy as it’s the last spot. Farthest stretch for water and power, but I provide an extension power cord to it. Our little store has items you may need if you run out or forget something. We also sell regular gas.

Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. Surrounded by BLM and Timber properties, while being 6 miles from downtown CG (7 miles from the I5) and 30 miles from downtown Eugene. All guests have access to the outdoor shower, which is connected to the Dome. Please use biodegradable soap in the shower! Potable water spigots are located by the carport and at the top of the steps leading down to our platform site. Each site has its own composting toilet, fire-pit, electrical outlet and hammock. Nearby access to: two lakes for swimming and fishing, waterfalls and cliff-jumping, hiking and biking trails, dining, wineries, breweries, shopping and more. I am happy to offer suggestions and share what I know- please ask! UPDATE: The timber acreage that borders our property- to the west and north of Overholser Road- was harvested winter 2024. The property consists of Oak savanna, mixed conifer woodland, camas meadow, undulating hills and a SMALL pond (home to many rough-skinned newts- no swimming or fishing). At our domestead we practice permaculture, native habitat restoration and regenerative forestry. Poison oak is present on the property! I have done my best to clear it from camping areas and trails. Tecnu is provided in the outdoor shower. There is a mile long loop that goes around the whole property, which we keep mowed and accessible. Hipcampers are encouraged to use the loop to explore the property. To access- walk south/downhill toward the pond signs and follow the mowed path through the meadow and back up toward the road, which will take you back to your campsite. I have included a screenshot of the loop as recorded by my Strava app, which is in the property photos. The property hosts a geodesic play-dome and slack-line (during the dry months) up by the green dome/outdoor shower. Guests may play on these at their own risk- the closest hospital is 7 miles away. *Please note- if you do not respect our camp rules your visit will be flagged, hipcamp will be notified and you will be asked to pay 25% of your booking fee for cleanup costs.*

Take them for walks along the lake, not having them run thru everyone else's camp sites. No Yappers, no barking dogs, no yapper's, no pain in the butts. Why would you drive by 46 grocery stores and forget to bring ice? No loud music. I have changed quiet time to 9:00 PM. You need to listen to the chaos/stressful music I suggest you start a band or become a DJ. What I want folks to get out of being here, whether they are camping or staying in the Gers is just to “take a break”. Relax, appreciate, assess and just listen. I hope what you hear is the sound of life and of course all the Angels that make up this special piece of Heaven. Then there is the silence. The best part of “Heaven”.

Hi and welcome to Picknik Place LLC! This is a 20 acre farm, so there is plenty of land to roam free and explore, as well as having your privacy from the primary residents.
