Carly's camp is a lovely quiet location a short drive to the Coast and Cascade mountains. We stayed there for a couple of nights and everything was perfect. Carly has thought of everything, including fire starters, dry and abundant firewood, and a clean, dry platform tent with an electrical outlet. The drive down to the campsite was no problem for our Highlander, but we wouldn't have taken our Prius down the two-track. I would recommend the site without hesitation.

Exactly as advertised, cute, quite site. Little outhouse and fire pit. Perfect for my family (two little ones) has water on the property. And lots of logs you can cut for fire wood. Definitely read the rules so you can come prepared. The shower was nice outdoor shower, clean, and plenty of hot water. Carly had some basics stocked for us. And she was available if we needed anything. We definitely will be back.

Our stay was amazing. Best host and the site was just as expected! Great place for kids to romp around and the site was just like being in the deep forest. Beautiful wildflowers and wildlife. Host gave us perfect recommendations for what to do. Will come back!

The stay at Carly's sure was great! Everything was very well maintained and directions were clear. It is set up very well and made it trip very easy! The purple wildflowers were beautiful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Had a most amazing vacation at this tent site. Everything was exactly as described and one of the most peaceful places i have camped in. Carly is an gracious host. Very helpful and gives you your privacy. I will definitely be staying here again

This was a beautiful and calm place to camp. The directions were super clear, and the amenities were great (the platform even had an outlet, the shower was warm, and there was a nice fire pit). Be aware of mosquitoes and ticks! Luckily, we brought bug spray, but we did get a tick bite. Overall, loved our stay.

My first trip without my boys' Dad, who is no longer part of the family. It was hard, but Carly made us feel so supported, welcomed, loved.
The site is gorgeous, the land is magical, and we can't wait to come back in a different season to see the changes. ❤️🙏

Beautiful campsite, perfect for people who want a step up in convenience from backpacking in the woods. Everything is nicely organized, prepped and clean for arrival. Signs and instructions are easy to find (and follow). I stayed at the platform. Huge, safe firepit. Briefly met Carly at the beginning of the drive way. A bit out of the way. Nice views of the sunset. Enjoyed the walk around the property.

As a solo traveler I felt super safe here. Surrounded by beautiful plant life, I really enjoyed the comfort of nature and the shelter of the bell tent! Nice big camp fire as well. I was just coming from a farm so having a nice hot shower when I arrived was perfect. Carly was very responsive and friendly. Her system for compost and trash was super organized, which I very much appreciated. The only thing I wish is that I had more time to check out the rest of the land! Can’t wait to be back!

The property was just outside of Cottage Grove and easy to find. The property was clean and well kept. Description of the site matched the physical reality. We were hauling a 22 foot travel trailer and would suggest backing in at the turn off from the upper road. Peaceful and quiet location.

We had a wonderful time tent camping here! It was a very private and serene space, with access to some creature comforts like a warm shower. There was a permanent awning installed at the site which we set our tent up under, but you could put your tent elsewhere.

Awesome site! Felt totally safe and it was such beautiful surroundings. We will definitely keep this spot in mind next time we're in the area. Word of warning that it is a little difficult to find in the dark and hard to turn around, so go slower and look for the signage more closely than you may think you need to.

Carly is super nice and I really enjoyed the time I got to spend at her spot. I got the solitude I was looking for without having to go very far. Carly keeps things well maintained & I really appreciate her dedication to the environment.
This is a great little spot for a getaway! No frills, but none were needed!❤️❤️❤️

Nicely set up, private camp in trees, very quiet. Nice and dark. Carly was quick to communicate and reply. It is a small circle turnaround, a little tight for our 22ft campervan but definitely doable. We appreciate the new rock layer on the roadbed.

Camping on Carly’s land was so lovely and serene! Her property is beautiful and with all the amenities it is really amazing for the price! I don’t hold this against Carly at all but for those traveling here on cold days, make sure to check and ask about the shower and that the water is on! I attempted to shower in the morning but the water wasn’t on, I was in a rush so had to leave but Carly was still very responsive and attentive to the issue! She let me know that they turn the water off to avoid pipes freezing so I do not fault her at all for that! Highly recommend to anyone passing through or staying in the area, you won’t regret it! Even on a colder rainy day I still thoroughly enjoyed by stay. Thanks so much for having me Carly!

Carly has built a sweet set of campsites on her property and I can see why folks would select it for a gathering of friends. There were established fire pits and it's been cold and wet so being able to have a fire was sweet. Camping through winter after the F.S. closes their campgrounds really adds a challenge to full time camping so finding this comfortable campsite only a few miles from a quiet town with fabulous bookstores was a gift.

Exceptional, beautiful, thoughtful. Love staying here and will return. Will enthusiastically recommend to anyone and everyone. The location is perfect, not far from town but you definitely feel like you are amongst nature. Carly, the host, makes sure you are taken care of in every aspect. I couldn't be happier with this location, the site, and the host. 10 out of 10!

I loved camping at Royal Heart Hill because Carly genuinely takes care of her campers while giving you all the privacy you need. We were able to see the stars every night, and wake up to birds chirping in the morning. Everything was exactly as described. We had power without a single issue, tons of firewood (Carly even checked in with us to make sure we weren't running low), a shower that NEVER ran out of hot water, and a clean and nice composting bathroom setup. The road up to her property, as well as into each site, is well maintained and very nice to drive on. All the neighboring properties are well maintained and nice to look at. Will return without a doubt.

Perfect Hipcamp experience!
Descriptions are spot on, communication with the host was easy and quick, the location was gorgeous, the site has plenty of privacy, and they supply everything you need. We loved it so much that we booked another couple nights rather then checking out. The composting toilet was clean and convenient (honestly cleaner than most campgrounds we have been to), and the shower was perfect. Nice and hot. I truly could not be happier with every aspect of our stay. We ended up getting in and setting up super late, and Carly was nothing but understanding, kind, and helpful. She is the kind of host you would hope for and will be lucky enough to get if you stay here. And the price?! Wow, hands down the best deal you are going to get in the area. We feel fortunate that we got to experience such a great place with the best host.

A last second camping trip with my brother before the weather changes turned out to be a great trip! We were met with clean toilet amenities, plenty of wood, and a great spot to sit back and enjoy the fire. Absolutely would stay again and plan to do so :) would recommend
