AMAZING place to stay! Best campsite we have ever gone to. Great place for swimming, fishing, and rock hunting. Beautiful rocks there. It has a HUGE private beach, and a boat launch for smaller size boats. Friday night and we heard a sound and thought a cow got out from nearby. Turned out 2 mule deer, a doe and fawn, came down to eat and drink at our campsite about 10 yards away from us as we sat around talking by the fire pit. They weren't scared of us at all and stayed probably 20-30 minutes. Then 5 wild turkeys came down the next morning and sat on the beach for 3 hours. We saw numerous big hawks, a golden eagle, and several ducks. Truly a magical experience. Danny our host is an incredible, fun, kind, informative host. We are going to book it again as soon as it gets warmer and take our 2 grandchildren. We have for dachshunds and they loved being outside under the shade trees all day long by where we parked the camper. You have a lot of space where you park your camper, There is a grill to set over a fire pit. It saved us because our camper batteries died and we had no electricity all weekend, our generator has to have enough battery power to start the generator to run the gas line so we couldn't use our gas grill. Can't wait to go again, this time with new batteries!🤣🤣🤣

This camp spot, set on the Snake River is fantastic. We had easy access to the water which was super fun with the padddleboard. Lonita hosted us because Danny was busy. She took very good care of us, especially considering that we forgot a couple of key items for our trailer.
Camping next to the river was peaceful and beautiful. We highly recommend Danny’s camp.

Danny was very nice and a cool guy! The campsite was perfect with beautiful views, lots of space and drift wood to collet for a fire. Serene sunrises and sunsets. 10/10 recommend

This was a wonderful site on the snake river with total privacy and great views. The wildlife included many deer, goats, lots of birds including an owl in the tree at the site (the owl flew over us at night), and fishing was fun.
The host was very gracious and made sure we taken care of.
I can’t praise this site enough: I will just say my family will be returning again next year- I live in Portland and it was certainly worth the drive.

Camping right next to a giant river with privacy? Yes please!
We really enjoyed our stay at Spot #4! It’s no fault to Danny, but HipCamp’s website has the spots numbered in reverse order, just something to remember when looking/booking a spot! The photo matches the site description when you click on it, it just actually starts at spot #4 as you arrive and Spot #1 is the last spot on the right!
We arrived late and it was dark and Danny’’s wife and kids met us at the road and hopped on the quad and led us to our spot! They were so fun and we had a nice conversation!
Our spot was clean had a killer view of the river and we woke up to the sound of fish jumping from the water!
Thanks for the great spot guys!!

It was a nice spot on the Snake River. To reach thia place you have to drive a few Miles ob gravel road. We pitched our tent under a big tree and had Lots of shadow in the very hot morning. We arrived very late and got clear directions from the host to reach the place.

The site was very private and Snake river is absolutely beautiful! Don’t forget to look at the stars at night, they’re astonishing. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful spot right on the river with lots of potential. Friendly owners. We unfortunately had to leave early due to an algae outbreak, otherwise we definitely would have stayed longer. It's about 30 min from any store or gas station down a long dirt road. So plan accordingly. I believe this will be quite an amazing spot as he continues to add and upgrade.

This was the perfect spot! We camped with our kids and dogs. It was perfect for all of us. The water was warm and the dogs could run and play off leash. Plenty of shade. Danny was a gracious host!

The water in the reservoir was much higher in June than our last trip in August. There was little beach but the fishing was right outside our trailer, which was fantastic! Water temp was amazing for floating. Very peaceful and quiet. Our friends stayed in site 4 which is close to 3. We all had a fantastic time. Catfish were huge and delicious!

Beautiful property! Our site was very private with a great views! Fishing is good. Owner is very friendly and helpful. We were able to get water at the owners property which was great since we didn’t need to tow with full water tanks. We also got very lucky and were able to see the Northern Lights! 🤩

Great spot! And a stones throw from Boise but still pretty remote. Hosts were great and so were their kiddos and pups. Water this early in the season is still pretty low so that meant lots of four wheeling for the kids, some fishing and a good fire. We’ll be back!

This trip was wonderful! Our spot was somewhat isolated and Danny was a great host. The view was terrific and we were all alone, love it! Would do again and in the summer especially! 5 stars for sure! Thank you Danny!

This site had many pluses and some minuses for us. Site was quiet and the clear night skies were amazing. Being able to have a camp fire was amazing. This was an undeveloped site with lots of over grown plant life. Site was flat and shade was amble to keep the trailer cool on 70-80 degree days in early October. The site was currently 70 to 80 feet from the water line. The site pictures don’t accurately reflect the this spot. The camp hosts helped us get to the spot and were very welcoming. Got the Dozen eggs and they were yummy. Over all this site seemed to be expensive for what was offered.

The breath taking views and the night stars were speechless! Great fishing, beach walks and endless sunflowers for days to enjoy. Our host was kind and helpful with list of knowledge on the local plants and herbs. The camping site was very spacious for 3 tents and our pets and cooking by camp fire was a must do.
