We loved camping on Charnie's land, the tent had every amenity imaginable, the bed was comfortable, the wood burning stove inside the tent was amazing, we had a solar battery that kept strings of lights lit. small cooler, and cooked at the fire pit. Walk behind the fire pit across a small creek and the most spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains.

My family and I had a great time glamping on Charnie's property! The tent was super cute and comfy, and felt really private because it was down the hill from their main house and nestled up against a forest. Our 3 year old twins loved the tiny little frogs we found, and exploring the little hiking trail through the woods and to a clearing. They were really sad when it was time to go home. They asked if we could live there forever.

Hidden Creek Hideaway Rainier Tent
I loved staying in Charnie’s tent! This is my second time staying here and everything felt so cozy. My partner and I stayed warm at night with the wood stove. It does get cold at night so depending on the season you might want to bring sleeping bags. Our little dogs loved exploring the property as well. We also saw some frogs this time around. Charnie is a great host and responds to questions quickly!

My family absolutely loved staying here and already want to stay again.
The hideaway had everything we could need and more from dishes to extra blankets to keep warm and even a fire starter kit.
The location was easy to find and Charnie was super quick with her responses if I did have a question. The location was also a perfect middle ground for wanting to spend time in Olympic and downtown Seattle.
Next time we'll plan to spend more down time here just enjoying the property and all of the singing frogs.

We found both beds, the queen and the futon, to be comfortable. It was nice to take a warm shower after days without, and we appreciated the cookstove and cooking utensils, we made ourselves a nice meal!

This is a truly special place to camp, the site itself is green and gorgeous with a little trail around the property. The canvas tent is well built, cozy & welcoming. From the rustic charm of the furniture and decor, the thoughtful accommodations with cooking utensils and other necessities, to the easy-to-follow directions from owners, you can tell a lot of love went into this Glampground.
We stayed here for a wedding on the island. It was a fitting Royal camp spot to get suited and dressed up at.
10/10 would stay again

Walking into the tent was a treat to the eyes. Rustic glamping, extremely comfortable bed, solar electric, camping stove, wood stove, and much appreciated bathing and toilet facilities. Care has been taken to make your stay very comfortable. There is an outside seating area and room to roam. Communication was fast and helpful. A very fun place for you to stay. We will return if in the area again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! The host was very nice and informative! It was so cute and the perfect place to stay when we weren’t exploring the area! The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed here. Even in the chillier weather of October the wood furnace kept us warm and cozy. One of our favorite parts was hearing the various birds and frogs while we relaxed in the tent. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our 22nd anniversary in the cozy glamping tent. The gorgeous sunsets at the pond is a must do and the welcoming frogs in the bath house was fun! The tent stove kept us warm in the evening and morning and we highly suggest Port Gamble for food, shops and water entertainment.

What an amazing space they have set up! It truly was Glamping done right. We loved the tent and the bed was so comfy! There were seats outside we relaxed in next to our propane firepit (they have wood fire pits but there’s a burn ban). We got to explore the little wooded area and meet some amazing resident owls on the property. The field beyond the campsite was wonderfully set up for badminton which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our dog enjoyed trying to hunt the frogs in the grass (he’s ver awkward and entirely unsuccessful, but the thrill of the chase was enough for him). The camp shower was great! We even made some frog friends who visited the shower. My son absolutely loved them!

My wife and I stayed for 10 days and it was a perfect basecamp for checking out the nearby national parks and cities. Perfect location to check out Olympic and Mt. Rainier national parks as well as Seattle and Tacoma. The wood stove keeps the tent warm at night and a hot shower is amazing after a day of hiking. Highly recommended if you plan on exploring the area.

We loved the tent and were very comfortable. It was quite hot one of the days that we were there, so the spray fan provided was very much appreciated 🙂 Charnie was quick to respond and very helpful, but gave us our privacy. We loved the little creek and trail and the pond full of frogs sounded AMAZING at night. It's definitely on the list of places that we'd love to stay at again.

The tent setup was very nice with wood stove and a comfortable bed. Setting would have been nice if there wasn’t rain and cold temperatures. We did not stay there even though we had paid for the night. The hot water for the shower did not work and the water feed for the sink was ver lame. They would be better to put in a raise rainwater barrel. The path was very slippery due to the rain. Would have loved to stay if not for all that.
