Your Off-Grid Getaway Awaits Enjoy a simple yet comfortable getaway in nature. Nestled on 4 semi-wooded acres, our site features towering 100+ year-old cedars and Douglas firs, a tranquil creek, and a beautiful meadow and wetland filled with wildlife. Keep an eye out for wild birds, owls, eagles, coyotes, and deer! Located just minutes from historic downtown Poulsbo and Port Gamble, and only 4 miles to the Hood Canal Bridge to connect to the Olympic Peninsula, our camping/glamping spot is the perfect home base for exploring, outdoor activities, or simply unwinding in nature. In the glamping tent, we have a regular queen bed and a futon/sofa bed to offer for a party of 4 to sleep comfortably. If you have a larger party, you can reserve the Mountain View Meadow tent site(s) and have friends and family join in the fun. Mountain View Meadow tent sites require you to "hike-in" and bring your own camping gear. You will have a large flat meadow to set up camp and enjoy the views of the mountains in the distance and the pond. There is a communal campfire site with a wood burning fire pit which is and a backup propane fire pit so you can have a campfire during burn bans! There is a foot pump sink, propane outdoor heated shower, and compost toilet for guest use. Glamping fun!

Booked 1 time
Tent site · Sleeps 4
Nestled in a scenic meadow overlooking a tranquil pond with a distant mountain view, this leave-no-trace, hike-in campsite offers a peaceful retreat in nature. While campfires are not permitted in the meadow, guests can gather around a communal fire pit, located just a short walk through the forest. Amenities include a compost toilet and a propane-heated shower for added comfort. Please note that the site may include farm sounds from geese, chickens, turkeys, and dogs. If you are sensitive to these noises, earplugs are recommended. This is a pack-in, pack-out site, with recycling and trash facilities available at the parking area. For larger groups, inquire about renting the entire meadow and/or the glamping tent. There is Kitsap Memorial State Park less than 2 miles away if you want Hood Canal access.

Hidden Creek Hideaway Rainier Tent

Canvas tent · Sleeps 4 · 2 beds · 1 toilet
We offer a wooded canvas logging tent glamping experience on 4+ acres of nature conservation land, just 5 miles north of downtown Poulsbo.  All bedding, cooking ware and linens provided plus coffee, sugar and creamer, cooking oil, salt and pepper. One Queen size bed and one futon queen bed to sleep up to 4. If you have a larger group, please feel free to reserve the Mountain Meadow campsite if available. Which will secure the entire property for your stay. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with the addition of the pet fee in the extras. The campfire area and the bathhouse may be shared with other campers that will be staying at the mountain meadow tent site. A forested creek and a small meadow with a little walking trail complete the experience, along with a lovely campfire pit.  Our house is on the property, but it is over 250ft away from the glamping spot.  We want to give our guests all the privacy they desire, so you probably won't see much of us unless you need assistance with anything and in that case, we are right there to help.   There is a bath house for guest use, with a compost toilet, handwash sink and propane heated shower. The shower is operable any time there is not freezing weather in the forecast. There is a solar powered battery bank inside the tent in order to run the lights, blender, or charge your phone or other electronics. Then in the bathhouse there is solar power to run the toilet fan and lights in the bathhouse.   Cooking is available using the woodstove or the two-burner propane camp stove, or you can also cook over at the campfire area with a grill rack on the campfire pit.  We provide the little propane canisters, and we start you off with one bundle of wood/fire starters for free. Walk the wooded trail out the meadow and have a picnic in the grass or just enjoy the mountain view in the distance. There is also a hammock in the woods during the warmer months. You can see the border of the property as it is marked by little pink flags. Please keep animals and people on our side of the flags.
