1 night at Glamping at the Gateway

This is our first booking with Hipcamp and Glamping at tge gateway. It was a great experience! Me and my wife brought my Aunt on her first camping trip with us. She enjoyed the stay. It felt safe and was very peaceful. It's close to Twin Beach which is a good place to hangout! Teresa greeted me on our check out day. She also gave us great suggestions for breakfast! The porta potty was very clean! Site 7 is a good spot! Will camp there again! Thank you Teresa!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The spaces are quite large, it's pretty peaceful, and was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Port-a-potties were super clean, serviced the day before we arrived which was a huge plus. The host was very friendly and gave us a ton of recommendations for hikes to do nearby that weren't on our radar. We will definitely use them again next time we camp in that area.

Teresa is a great host. She provided clear direction to the site and explained how things work inside the motor home. She was very responsive over phone and also available on site. The motor home was well equipped. There was a community fire-pit that you can share with other campers. The porta-potty outside the motor home was clean and well-maintained. There was also a flush toilet inside the motor home. I’d highly recommend this place.

There are a lot of things we loved about this campground. The hosts were really friendly and the bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The ground cover was grass and well kept. There was a restaurant near by called Upriver grill that was delicious. We would camp there again.

We had an amazing time at this campsite. It felt like a true backwoods experience—peaceful, secluded, and far enough from other campers to really enjoy the quiet and nature. The grounds were relatively flat, and it’s clear the hosts recently cleared and prepped the sites with care—they did a fantastic job. Each spot comes with a picnic bench and a fire pit with a grate, which made cooking and hanging out by the fire easy and enjoyable. The camp hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating—some of the nicest we've ever met! You really couldn’t ask for better. The bathroom was just a short walk away, very clean, and even had showers—an unexpected and appreciated bonus. On top of all that, the location is ideal. You're right outside the national forest, and just a 30-minute drive brings you to absolutely breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and welcoming camping experience.

I was only at Jenel and Khohay’s place for a short time but it was immediately peaceful. They were very welcoming and gave me a tour of the property with many offerings, but most importantly to feel comfortable and have a home away from home. I car camped and picked a spot along the field where I could hear the small creek flowing. I fell asleep listening to the creek and rain falling. I was up and out early the next morning but very much appreciated having a full bathroom with running water to start my day at before heading out to the mountain! I would absolutely stay here again and hopefully spend more than one evening!

This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Imagine the friendliness of staying at a distant cousin's organic farm, with the facilities of a top-notch campsite. Only regret was that we were crashing there quickly, and weren't able to stay longer and relax on-site. The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. Masabaje Camp

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!
