The location is beautiful, and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the orchard RV site, and was super close to communal cooking and beach area, yet far enough away that it still felt private. There were many activities that the kids took advantage of - paddle boats, swimming, fishing, basketball, pickleball, and many animals around the property.

Tent camping at Harmony lake, farm, park and playground exceeded my expectations in every way! The wildlife was so gorgeous, we got to witness the beauty of horses, peacocks, chickens, an emu, geese, ducks, cranes, snakes, owls, bats, dogs, cats, and a turtle. We did plenty of fishing off of multiple areas around the lake and we got to go out on the water using a paddle boat they had available for us to use. The restroom and hot shower was super well maintained and very modern. The hosts were outstanding, they are super friendly and so helpful. They did a wonderful job providing us with great experiences and making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout the entirety of our stay. I definitely recommend giving this special place a visit! I will for sure be back again given the opportunity!

LOVED Milo Farm! It has lots to do there. It is obvious they thought about how to make a welcoming, relaxing place for everyone. I would definitely come back again and give it my highest personal recommendation!

This was a great place to camp! Check in was super easy, the sites were all well kept, and they were very accommodating on getting us a nixe, quiet spot. The lake was fun, and the peacock that came by was super nice! Made for a nice weekend getaway from KC.

Ken has a little slice of heaven for those looking for a safe, beautiful place to car camp. The real star of the show is Ken himself. We got in a little late and being our first camp of the season we forgot a few items. Ken went above and beyond to help us out. The property itself is set back amongst some really beautiful lush farmland. We car camped by the house and had a view of the lake. In the guest building, Ken has a well-appointed bathroom with a shower and laundry which was unexpected and welcome after a long day of driving. Sadly, we were just passing through, but I plan on allocating more time for our future visit to really enjoy more of what the property offers.

We had such a great time! Very quiet and a good distance away from other campers, overall a very peaceful weekend. We’re already talking about planning our next trip! The lake was great for swimming and fishing!!

Our stay was fantastic. The Fisherman's Cove site we were at had a really great view over the water. The host was welcoming and gave us a tour when we arrived and told us about all the animals and other property information and some history. There was plenty of space on the property, and the laid back slow paced vibe was excellent. And we were close enough to town to run in and get a few things we needed for the weekend. The only downside is it's near railroad tracks. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you're particularly sensitive to sound, you might not enjoy the trains.

The camping here was great! The host was amazing, dropping off firewood at your camp site was a nice touch.

My family and I had a great overnight at Shadow Lake, and Ken and Joan were fantastic hosts! We had an expansive camp site with plenty of room for our teardrop camper and tent. There was tons to do- from swimming and paddling in the lake, playing on the sandy beach, interacting with the animals (including peacocks!!), a basketball and pickle ball court, and much more. The scenery was really peaceful, with lots of nature sightings, including the resident bald eagle and heron paying visits. Lots of nice, thoughtful touches- we especially enjoyed the farm fresh eggs for breakfast, and being able to purchase wood on the spot for our campfires. Great location for adults and kids, unique experience and peaceful location. We are excited to camp here again in the future!!

Lake Georgia-Sue is an 85 acre oasis of relaxation and fun. We are located in East Central Kansas, not far from Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, and Wichita. The lake itself is 8 acres, with a lot of fish, swimming, small craft boating, kayaking, and wind surfing. The property has numerous sites where you can private pasture your horses, work them in our private round pens, and trail ride them in the hundreds of miles of trails that intersect the property. These are VERY large and private campsites with no nosey or loud neighbors. Sites are for primitive camping, RVs needing electric hookups via available generators, fresh water. Lakefront sites or forest sites are available. Showers, toilets, AC Clubhouse, playground, ponies, pet pigs, goats, and chickens. Pet friendly. Group camping for up to 25 people. Great for weddings, birthdays, etc We are just a short drive from four larger state lakes. An abundance of good restaurants are just ten minutes away, and sometimes we take a trail ride to eat Mexican or BBQ in the village close by.

There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄 The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. For diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. Find the vortexes here! Bless Mother Earth and spend some time in nature at this magical place Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of the art golf cart rental if interested. Loni can take you on a guided history, nature and meditation hike if you sign up for that. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer! Located in Eastern Jackson County MO, just 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City & 20 min from the sports stadiums.
