Michael was incredibly kind, responsive and communicative! Very open and spacious land, great for watching the stars at night. I would recommend to car camp or tent camp. Very off the beaten path- quiet, relaxing, peaceful. No frills and has a unique vibe since it is a quarry. I would definitely stay here again :) Be prepared to bring lots of bug spray!

Amazing weekend camping here! About 40 mins from Acadia. Good price and I was able to book last min for the 4th of July weekend. Michael is super nice and communicates well. I will come back if I’m in the area!

Michael met us at the gate and was very friendly. He's working to keep improving his campground and is a super nice guy. We enjoyed our stay here. Site 5 is just a pull off on the gravel road, nothing fancy. Nice separation from neighbors. Bring bug spray!

Great spot close to Acadia and hiking. Michael is a great host who is eager to make your stay enjoyable. Great communication and patience with our gps mishap. Lots of space to roam on the site and it really is off the beaten path; so quiet at night and absolutely no light pollution! Highly recommend.

This is in a rock quarry that the owner still works on occasion. There are several sites. We were in the first one on entry into the area. The assortment of colors, shapes, and sizes of beautiful rocks kept me entertained. The road in is rough gravel and past some other farm sites. But we were behind a linked gate and felt comfortable in our campsite.

Beautiful, calm, and safe. Great for solo car life/vanlife in the area. Not very much public parking, and this is so beautiful that it’s a win/win.
Michael was also a very nice guy. Everything went really well.

The Tent Site #6 is a long way off the beaten path down a long dirt road in the middle of an earth quarry of some kind. It was very quiet and my tent site was on a little body of water but no water birds or fish evident. The outhouse was quite a ways away at another campsite. Fortunately I didn’t need it in the middle of the night. It was a fine place for an overnight. Don’t think I would stay longer than one night.

Wow, what a gem! This land is so spacious and well taken care of by the host. Michael was friendly and easy to communicate with and has put in a lot of effort to maintain the safety and privacy of these spot. I hope this land treats future campers as well as it did me.

Nice peaceful spot with plenty of level ground to pitch a tent. There is an outhouse too which is always nice. Micheal was friendly and gave very clear directions, and as two young women in an unfamiliar area, we felt safe. Thank you, Michael!

This was a wonderful place to camp that was very quiet and peaceful. As a Solo camper I slept like a baby. The host was very helpful. Only thing id recommend is adding signage on the gravel road leading up to the gate. Pulling up at night was a little confusing. Was quickly resolved when owner answered phone.
