1 night at Molalla Ripple

Fantastic tent camping experience by the river! The site was clean and clear and while there were several other sites nearby, my 5 year old and I were able to have peace and quiet. River is super shallow and a dream for kids and dogs. Didn’t use the showers but glad they exist. Will stay again!

1 night at GeerCrest Farm

Jim’s camp was hands down one of the best camps my family has stayed in (and I travel with 2 teenagers!!). Jim came out to welcome us soon after arrival and was so kind, a truly a wonderful host! He even helped us with firewood. His property is BEAUTIFUL and extremely well cared for - there were personalized touches throughout. We walked the property in awe (truly) of the old trees, and all the natural “amenities”. We took some breathtaking photos of the sunset. I LOVED collecting a few fresh herbs from the “Food Forest” for my pie iron pizza! We tent camp and slept like babies in the serene setting, under the Heritage Grove trees of Jim’s farm. I’d book this stay again any day (and so would my husband and the kids!)

2 nights at Zen Acres

Had a great time tent camping! This was our first time camping as a family (kid + dogs). Mike was very helpful and friendly. Was super quick with getting us firewood and ice (we forgot both items). Site #2 had multiple places to set up our tent and lots of trees to set up a tie out for the dogs. Easy access to the bathroom and the creek was very refreshing during the hot days. Loved how many birds and other critters were around us, could rarely hear our camp neighbors. We were at the entrance to the campsites so we could hear the cars but there was very minimal traffic. Mike had some gravel delivered next to us but came down to warn us in advance and it was done very quickly. Our daughter liked watching the truck dump the rocks so it was added entertainment for her. There is also a store not far from the site so we could go get more of the other items we forgot (super handy).

We spent two days at this campsite and couldn't have asked for a better escape from the summer heat. We stayed at Site 8, which is the last campsite and furthest from the river access, but the walk down to the water wasn't long at all and we actually loved the extra seclusion it provided. The campsite itself was well-maintained and level. The facilities were clean, and the river shack with charging stations made it so I could still connect for work when needed while the kids played in the river.

Although we had a big group, we all had a great time on Sam's accommodating campsite. There was a lot to do on the water, the campsite was large, and there was clean water extremely close to camp. I would recommend the spot to anyone looking to have a great time by the river!

Weekend Trip to Vista View Ranch

What a great spot! Beautiful field, lovely fir forest, and Jacob couldn't have been nicer. The happiest camper of the weekend was our dog who loved exploring the trails and trees. The view really was splendid, though note that the firepit with the view is a very short but pleasant walk from the tent sites (which also have their own firepits). The sites weren't marked, so we just found a firepit and camped near it. If there were others I'm sure Jacob would've helped out. Jacob is definitely in the process of setting the campground up. He is visibly putting in tons of work. It is already great and I'm sure only going to get better!

The site we stayed in was very large and well kept. There were multiple spots to hang our hammocks. We enjoyed the nice trail down to the creek. Bathrooms were clean and easy to access. Mike checked in with us at the beginning of our stay and let us know that if we needed anything to reach out. He was very kind and gave us our space to relax in nature. 12/10 would recommend going here. We’re planning on coming back next summer to enjoy Zen acres!

Such a beautiful property!! We got surprised with a rainy weekend, so Patricia upgraded our site due to our original site being muddy. The pond was beautiful, so many frogs and birds, plus horses in the distance! There were other camps around, but it felt very secluded and private. I definitely recommend giving here a try, I didn't regret a single minute :)

We put in campsites, a cabin, a barn loft, and a fire pit. We offer these to guests when not being used by our family and friends. Wildlife includes deer, turkey, and quail & 3 active beehives. Guests are welcome to fresh eggs from the chicken coop. We are fully fenced and gated for your family and pets protection. South Santiam River is less than 1 mile for fishing, kayaking, or rafting. Foster reservoir is 30 minutes away and Green Peter Reservoir is 45 minutes away for boating, swimming, and fishing. There is a loop exercise trail that circles the property and offers 30-degree climbs. You can also play games inside or basketball outside. We thought it would be great to have family gatherings and get togethers here and think of this as our slice of heaven, and hope others enjoy it as well.

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.** If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. In summer of 2011, Chris and Beth got married and dove into the wine industry when they purchased a majestic 62 acre property in the foothills of the coastal mountain range in Yamhill County. It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. The Ranch has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are roads as well as deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. Tillamook is 25 miles. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. Thanks for checking us out! We are ready for another season hosting... We have two campsites on our property but, to give our guests a more private experience we allow one group at a time. Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City.
