2 nights at Honeysuckle Springs Smoky Mountains

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this campsite. Beyond clean! Cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen, they have everything you need in the barn house. ( such as microwave, little fridges, stove, wash station, etc they have wood available for purchase) Very spacious apart vs. other campsites, not on top of each other, very quiet, very gorgeous, right by the smokys & near the entrance ( at least 20 min away not far at all) and not far from Main Street of Gatlinburg, it’s nestle in the mountains and you have a view on the site, we herd lots of wildlife, and if it’s a clear night, stunning view of the stars. Definitely coming back again! Everything you need to enjoy a very quiet campsite.

2 nights at Greeter Falls Campground

Perfect location to access Greeter Falls! We went during a wet weekend and our site was definitely soggy. Unfortunately the firewood we bought from the campsite was also wet and the fire starter from the camp store wouldn’t catch—never had that happen before. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Honeysuckle’s campground was super welcoming, clean, and inviting. It had gorgeous views of the mountains, clean bathrooms, and wonderful owners. They take great care of the area, and we’re super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend if you are want a more private and secluded campground away from the hussle and bustle of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. It was a great place to go after hiking all day!

Weekend Trip to Belle and Beau Acres

We loved our stay at site 2. We were able to plant our tent right near the ledge overlooking a little elevation drop in the river which made the best running river noises. We slept soundly at night thanks to that and the quiet atmosphere. It's very secluded apart from site 4 which we never heard or even noticed they were there the whole trip. Christine was very a flexible and capable host. She was a pleasure to work with from the booking till check out. I would recommend buying that fire wood stack. It made an excellent fire and was the centerpiece for our awesome grill out on the grate provided. The site was clean and well laid out with two spots that were suitable for a larger walk-in tent and one smaller two person tent. We never got to use the comfort station as we brought our own little portable toilet/w toilet tent but that was probably for the best. It is a short 2-4 minute walk to the comfort station right next to sites 2 & 4, however, it's practically all incline. For younger folk this isn't an issue, but if someone in your group has issues getting around, I would be sure to have someone else carry the pack for them. I should also note that while I didn't travel site 4's path, it looked to be a lot gentler so that may be a better option. There is a nice path between the sites which is well maintained and would make for a nice path for booking both sites given you need the extra space. Cummins Falls and Burgesses Falls were very convenient places to visit from here!!!

Very clean and quiet place! The bathrooms were well kept and very cute. The hosts were very attentive; they responded to messages quickly and were eager to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were able to rent a solar generator to ensure my husband could sleep with his c-pap machine. A perfect spot for families with plenty of space for the kids and pets to play. We will definitely be returning!

This was our first experience using HipCamp and it was amazing! We chose to hike in and camp. A lot of work, but definitely worth it to be right by the river. It was so peaceful and beautiful there! Our vacation was absolutely perfect!

I recently spent a weekend at a cozy cabin in the woods, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was tucked away in a serene location, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. It had a rustic charm with modern touches The highlight of the stay was the porch, where we could sip hot coffee in the mornings while soaking in the fresh mountain air. We spotted some wildlife, which made the experience feel truly immersive. The cabin’s host was incredibly friendly, offering great tips on nearby attractions and ensuring everything was well-stocked. The only downside was the lack of cell service (which was actually a blessing in disguise), Overall, it was a peaceful, rejuvenating escape from city life. I’d highly recommend this kind of cabin retreat for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge.

Christine of Belle and Beau Acres owns this absolutely beautiful property. With several short and easily accessible nature trails, a small but unique waterfall, and easy access to several creek waters, this was exactly what I was looking for. The campsites were well-tended, private, and in beautifully wooded areas. There are also a couple centrally-located open fields, should you want to go stargazing at night. For anyone wanting a return to real camping, this was the perfect venue for me, my 5-year old, and dog. My only tips would be to make sure you bring water, and don't forget to pack those water-shoes! 5 stars -- Highly recommended. We will be returning to the property this summer.

Run-A-Muck on the Red River

Thirteen years ago my best friend and I started a canoe and kayak company to allow people to experience the same things that we experienced as children. We have met thousands of people and had opportunities to become friends with many of them. We look forward to seeing them every year. Three years ago we were able to purchase this piece of property for the kayak company and watch it grow into more than we ever thought it would be. It's almost surreal owning a piece of property that you played on as a kid. We are very thankful to have it and share it with others, and hope that they'll have some of the same experiences that we have had on it. Breathtaking Waterfall & Campsite

Book by the end of March and get a Early Bird Discount! SLTABXED (10%) This hidden paradise has a waterfall that used to have a mill on it in the early 1900's. There are cliffs on each side of the creek making it the perfect spot for serene relaxation. Following upstream is an assortment of spots to pitch a tent. The most notable sites are surrounded by hemlock tree's and is peaceful when birds chirp over the small rapids echoing from the large overhang *I am in the process of making multiple sites but until I do so it is first come first serve. There are multiple sites at main campsite and along creek, I've had a private event of thirty people staying at once. There are also smaller spots next to waterfall, uphill near cliff and I've had people go below falls for some complete wilderness (blocked by gorge and waterfall). With this being said, I do offer private bookings and accommodate special events! *I travel for work, so I won't always be here, but I will send directions and details after confirmation and make sure all is savvy during. Please be respectful to one and another and let me know asap if any issues arise but truthfully everyone has been amazing and I thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know everyone! No bathrooms or showers if you're Just 35 minutes west of Loveless Cafe' in Nashville and 20 minutes south of the Dickson exit at I40. The 48 acre campground has just 3 big tent sites for more seclusion and is almost all old forest with wide trails and huge old growth trees. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. The rest is woods. Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are separated by the driveway and about 150' apart but a bridge connects the two if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect for privacy and companionship. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property but describe close places to visit as well. FIREWOOD: Split wood is available upon request and sold in the area (if it's available at the time) or any fallen dead wood from the forest is free. $7.00 for a 20" bundle. Please let us know ahead of time or order it on the site. SITE 1: The nicer of the two sites along the creek, has granite counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: Our retro style 2017 option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. Sometimes the walking stones get washed out. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up. SITE 2: Also along side the 30' creek. There is a round steel fire pit surrounded with wrought iron chairs, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 fairly flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. Parking is a little tight unless you're in a Jeep of more off road vehicle that can park up the hill a bit. SITE 3: "Still Hollow" is more private and located right in the middle valley of the property where a different spring fed creek runs down the wooded valley. There is no electricity but you can still enjoy the sound of small cascading waterfalls and a creek that runs along the side of the site for a relaxing sleep. There is a granite countertop, charcoal grill and a fire ring. A small round wrought iron table and 4 chairs are there for a place to eat lunch. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though. STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights. CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark. PHOTOS: EXPAND THE PHOTOS TO A SINGLE VIEW! Some photos are of nearby attractions. You can see the description of each photo and which site is in the picture when you expand them. VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance. Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. During warm season the outdoor kitchen is available as well. We also rent out a Suite which is located above the pavilion. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and picked up after. Please note there is a gun range 2 hollers away and depending on the season, it can be heard from our property. Tent in the Trees Listing: Your tent site is built above the trail and overlooking the creek. The tent is equipped with a queen bed, linens, and extra blankets. Your essential cooking gear (plates, utensils, cups, cookware, french press, coffee and 1 burner camp stove). There is a fire pit with grill and griddles for cooking over wood or charcoal. We supply fire wood for you and you're welcome scavange the wood nearby. Really, all you need is clothes, food and drink! Primitive Camp Site: The rustic camp site is DIY. It is 300' from pavilion, and 600' from Tent in the Trees. We provide a picnic table and fire pit with wood. You bring all the rest of your gear. Typically, you may park next to your campsite. West Tennessee
